This is a continuation from the previous quest "Froglok Tadpole Fleshies" offered by Zulort.
At the end of the previous quest: Zulort says 'Oh, me... um... Warlord BERRY happy. Berry like dese. Gimme. Uh, why is you still here? Take dis and gets more kills. You learning good, come sees me, I teaches you bout stuff. Make you [bedder shaman]. Go. He and me watching.' You say, 'bedder Shaman' Zulort says 'Yoo want to be bedda shaman? Can someone please help me find a mystic medicine bag as I've not seen one yet, even though I've killed tons of Mystics and collected 9 dolls, are the medicine bags called medicine bag when picked up?

There are actaully two type of Lizard Man Mystics in Oggok. The one for the bag are the higher level ones arcoss the river towards Rathe.
Be careful with the number of quests you do in Oggok if you want or need to go into Grobb. There are a number of NPC's who become KoS to ogres like Jocka, Grabah, and Kaglari. This quest has been discussed a lot as possible the one that puts you KoS with them. Not a big deal anymore, but used to be a real pain in the *** for ogre shaman who were doing alchemy as the "low level" herb vendor was in Grobb ( next to one of the now KOS NPC's ) and the "high level" herb vendor was in Oggok. Now that we have both vendors in Oggok theres no need to go to Grobb, unless you have a real lazy streak and cant go another zone to bank. Jocka is the one that will get you near the bank. There may be other NPC's in Grobb that will be KOS from doing this quest also. This one may have a much larger faction hit with Grobb than other Oggok quests.

As I maybe a Level 34 Orge Shaman now, I discovered that this quest is quite simply done by at least Level 6. I did this with another Orge Shaman Level 6 at the time also. We went to the lower leveled Lizardman camps and waited for the Mystics. Although I must say they don't always drop what you want, There is still Experience to get. The medicine bags are dropped almost on every kill. But the Mystic Dolls can drop maybe once every ten kills. It can be quite frustrating to a person who wants to get it over with at this low of a level, but trust me its worth it. I still have my symbol from when I did it so many months ago.

The faction you need to raise with Zulort is Shamen of War. Check the factions section of this site for quests that raise this faction. Beware though that some quests that raise faction with the guilds in Oggok can actually lower your faction with the guilds in Grobb. Pick quests that will not hurt your faction at home whenever possible.

How can my Troll Shaman raise faction with Zulort. I turned in the three dolls and the bag, and he took them and gave me nothing. Please advise.

David who does your Troll Shaman worship? All these quests are diety based. If your troll worships Cazic-Thule then you can do the Cazic-Thule Symbol Quests from Paineel.
I have both the Initiate and Disciple Symbols of Cazic-Thule. Both Symbols list Cleric, Shaman as the Classes and Erudite, Troll as the Races. The main faction you need to raise in Paineel is Heretic. Its very easy to raise if your Evil. Most likely being a troll your KoS in Erudin. All you have to do is kill about 25 Sentinal Erudin Guards inside Erudin and you should be Amibale with Heretics.
You can turn in items needed for the quest at dubious but they won't give you the quest from Hails. To get the key to Paineel's elevator you'll want higher faction as well... so you might as well get your faction up. Besides its nice to be able to bind in Paineel to use The Warrens, Stonebrunt, and The Hole and be able to come back here and bank, buy, and sell. Plus you can buy a Hole Key in Paineel. Even as a troll you can get through the doors.. you'll just have to duck unless your shrunk.
Anyway the 1st one is Spook the Dead. Nice but I really never used it. 2nd one is Panic the Animal... a bit better but still not extreamly useful unless you can snare the animal in some way. The stats on both are nice though for thier level.
I still want my Regean Symbol of Cazic-Thule. Fear is my god and it seems Fear type spells or something to do with Fear would make sense. My Mask already gives the Effect Fear (which is Awesome I might say... plus great stats +7 Wis) and I still wear it, but it'd be redundent to have a necklace that cast fear as well as my mask. Anything they add as an Effect I'm sure I'll like. I may not use the Effect but at least the stats would be upgraded. Plus just the fact that I have I'd have a Regeant symbol of my God, Cazic-Thule, would be worth it alone.

You do realize that your troll can't use it right ? Even if he was able to complete the quest he would need to be one a follower of rallos zek and 2 an ogre shaman. You are neither.
Do this quest! its a free buff! I did it and use it to this day when soloing. Every lil bit helps, and when in newby days this helped me a lot! I really hope Verant puts the remaining parts of the quest in though. the next two symbols that is. The trolly shm have awsome ones, and us ogres only get one! pfft! anyways all you ogre shm get one now! before verant gets rid of it all together! hehe

yes and no...... yes, that means that there is SUPPOSED to be one... no because they never implemented it. Hopefully next add-on they will fix it, or maybe in an upcoming patch! contact verant and tell them to let us have our symbols! hehe

I have posted on just about every damn site that i could find about this, because troll shamans and druids get a kick *** necklace that involves the combining of three seperate necklaces, and look what the shamans get.... clinging darkness(snare) ok so it only lasts for a short time but still snare will help so damn much when kiting a HG or something, and druids (get all the good ****) get a necklace that does grasping roots (root), seems corny to give them there lvl 5 root but still its free and will even help then out when a mob is snared and they are oom and dont have the mana to cast root
Basically what im saying is that, when(if ever) they put our upgrade to this necklace in game please make it something usefull and not some damn buff that is not even worth the 4 secs to cast, something like a root or snare even

It's a level 1 cleric buff. Increases strength and AC for 18 seconds, also used by Paladins.

the phrase that got me the Symbol was "what bedder shaman?"
oh, and you can take your neck slot and drag it to a hotkey bank... then, only pressing the hot key does cast Yaulp, very easy, and can be recast over and over, no recast delay, and no target needed...

hoi fellow Shamen...
while its nice to have a quest just for us Ogre Shaman this quest has one problem :
the stats sound great but the downside is that the effect takes a long time to cast.. so its virtually useless, because its hard to cast in the middle of a fight..
so better keep the fight under 18 seconds lol
anzway I hope to see more Ogre Shaman Quest soon, so keep on questing

After giving him 4 tadpole fleshies, he gives a bracketed [bedder shaman]. I tried about 50 different lines on him without any luck. Does anyone know what to say to him?

This is a flaw in the quest zulort says shaman but you gota spell it "shamen" then you will get a reply and he will tell you to bring him 3 mystic dolls and 1 of the medicine baggies mystics wear like necklaces

Not so sure ya can get this at level one withouth the help of some friends. These things drop off the lizardman mystics. No simple feat for a level 1 to kill.

You can hunt them about level 10 or 11. The good news is the lizard men are very good exp, but the bad news is they carry very bad loot. But now we atleast can get a good item for killing them )

you can hunt them at the temple at 10 or 11 but if you go find the little lizard camps you can hunt them around 5 if your soloing...

OK dont worry bout the stats btw this thing isnt too great except its vry nice since you can get it at lvl 1 but that isnt why im posting , need to know whether the disciple and regent quests r broken or how do i get them , someone plz post!
I wouldn't get your hopes up... as far as we know they don't have the Tribunal disciple/regent ones in either.

Cazic Thule regent? Well umm... not sure who can use it besides Clerics of Paineel. The fisrt symbol is of Spook the dead, and the second is of Panic animal. Or is it the other way around? Anyways, the next thing they can do is get one of two items, a mask or a helm. Get this... one of those has Fear, the other Deadeye. Their next symbol isn't a symbol, it is armor.

The races listed on the Symbols of Cazic-Thule are Humans and Erudites. It's sad they still haven't finished these quests. I really would like my Regent symbol of Cazic-Thule, and I'm sure there are humans that would like to be able to obtain ANY of their symbols of Cazic-Thule. Maybe with the release of the Warrens they can work their faction in Paineel up enough.
