This is a raid event in Txevu, Lair of the Elite. It is the final keying event located in the zone, and it is the event that unlocks access to the Tacvi raid expedition.







Before Raiding

If you're doing this raid at its level and intending on having players on the Zun`Muram's hate list, you'll need two lockpick-capable classes positioned at the two prison cells (one in the hallway north of this chamber; one in the hallway to the south).

As the Zun`Muram is immune to all forms of player damage, you'll need non-player DPS available (whether pet classes; damage shields; enchanters or bards that can charm; or player tank/DPS mercenaries - any non-player damage).

To access the room, you need a Jade Inlaid Key from the High Priest event.



Room Setup & Event Aggro

In the room, you'll see 4x "Ikaav Ritualist" (just inside the main doorway) and three nameds at the opposite end. When ready, aggro any of the mobs in the room (all appear to be aggro-linked):

Zun`Muram Tkarish Zyk says 'What do we have here, brother? Looks like the ones we've been hearing about, brother. I suppose they've come to try to destroy our commander. What do you think, brother. I think they're fools, brother, and we should crush them and hang their bodies outside to serve as an example to the rest. Sounds good, brother, lets do that.'

The Two Inquisitors

The two Inquisitors hit for a max ~1,500; have ~250,000 hitpoints; AE rampage; and proc "Grasp of Muram" and "Trample":

Grasp of Muram: Single Target, Magic (-20)
1: Decrease HP by 270 per tick
2: Decrease Movement by 35%
3: Increase Curse Counter by 8

Trample: Single Target, Magic (-150)
1: Decrease Hitpoints by 75 (L1) to 175 (L100)
2: Stun (2.00 sec)

These can be killed and appear to have a long enough respawn timer that you won't have to deal with them again in the encounter.

Zun`Muram Tkarish Zyk: Fight Stats & DPSing Him

Zun`Muram Tkarish Zyk hits for a max ~2,900; flurries; AE rampages; and casts "Wanton Destruction":

Wanton Destruction: PB AE 300', Magic (-300)
1: Decrease HP when cast by 4000
2: Decrease Mana Pool by 1000
3: Decrease Hitpoints by 500 per tick
4: Increase Curse Counter by 36
5: Decrease ATK by 500
6: Decrease AC by 60
7: Decrease Mana by 100 per tick

Zun`Muram Tkarish Zyk can only be damaged by non-player entities. He is immune to all other forms of DPS. He takes damage from:

- damage shields
- pets of all types
- player mercenaries
- charmed NPCs

The four Ikaav Ritualists are permanently rooted; summon when damaged; hit for a max ~1,500; and have ~120,000 hitpoints each. Once the event is engaged, they will start summoning random mobs to their aid (random trash mob type from the zone):

Ikaav Ritualist summons forth a Muramite soldier to protect the Zun`Muram.

Occasionally, they will spawn "a mastruq chaosslayer", which is charmable and can be used for DPS against Tkarish Zyk.



Zun`Muram Tkarish Zyk: Banishments

Throughout the encounter, the Zun`Muram picks random people on his hate list and banishes them to jail cells on either side of the halls outside his chamber. This banishment is only avoidable by remaining off his hate list. You'll see this emote when banished:

Zun`Muram Tkarish Zyk tells you, 'I grow tired of your insolence. Rot in your new home!'

The doors to the jail cells are locked, only openable by a Rogue with Picklock skill (requires Lockpicks item). Once in a jail cell, you have 25 seconds to exit, otherwise you are swarmed by 7x "a vengeful apparition":

Faint whispers can be heard all around you.

An unearthly moan echoes through the small room.

Angered by your presence here, apparitions step through the nearby walls. A bone chilling cold fills the room as they reach for your throat.

Vengeful apparitions hit for a max ~2,800 and proc "Deadly Lifetap":

Deadly Lifetap: Lifetap 0', Magic (-200)
1: Decrease Hitpoints by 1500

You aren't meant to survive the ambush, but the mobs are killable if you're high enough level to handle it. (You'll still need a lockpick out of the jail cell.)



Zun`Muram Tkarish Zyk: Event Completion & Loot

Kill Zun`Muram Tkarish Zyk to complete the event (note that other hostile mobs still alive do NOT despawn).

He drops 1x "Zun'Muram's Signet of Command" (flag to request Tacvi expedition) + 1x "Tongue of the Zun'muram" (quest item) "3x "Shard of Dark Matter" (Breakdown In Communication quest item) + 1x "Wand Harness" (Txevu alternate access item) + 4 items from this list:

If you have at least 6 people in your party, you are also assigned a Tacvi expedition at this time (entered by clicking on the golem statue in the back of the Zun`Muram's chamber). If you don't want to do the expedition now, you can trigger it at the zone-in later.
