[ ] Combine the Jagged Blade of War in the Scabbed to seperate it into the Blade of Strategy and Blade of Tactics and vice/versa. Full Walkthrough The Warrior Epic quest begins with both Kargek Redblade and Wenden Blackhammer in East Freeport (click for map image). They can be found under a gazebo at -1300, -380 (just inside the North Ro gate). Red Scabbard Find Kargek Redblade in East Freeport. You say, 'Hail, Kargek Redblade' Kargek Redblade looks up from his forge and says, 'Hello there, can I help you?' Your eyes are drawn to an extremely large red sword scabbard strapped to his back with no sword in it. Kargek speaks again, 'I said, can I help you or do you need help from Wenden?' You say, 'Tell me about that scabbard.' Kargek Redblade turns to look at you and says, 'It is a family heirloom. I might tell you the story behind it if you do me a little favor.' You say, 'What favor?' Kargek Redblade says 'An associate of mine is wandering somewhere in the Feerrott. His name is Oknoggin Stonesmacker. If you will deliver this note to him, I would appreciate it.' You receive a Wax Sealed Note. Take this to Oknoggin Stonesmaker in the Feerrott at 800, 1140 (by the main bridge across the river). Upon hand-in: Oknoggin Stonesmaker snatches the note from your hand and rips it open with your large hands. 'You take dis to Kargek. He want!' Oknoggin says, as he throws a tiny lute at you. You receive a Tiny Lute. Run back to East Freeport and give the Tiny Lute to Kargek Redblade to receive a book called Redblade's Legacy. Kargek Redblade says 'Thank you for delivering the note to my associate. Take this book - it will tell you a little of the history of the old scabbard. If you would like to own the scabbard, seek out my younger brother Tenal and give him the book.' You gain experience!! Take the book over to his brother in East Karana - Tenal Redblade, who is at the very end of the canyon next to the ramp to Highpass. You say, 'Hail, Tenal Redblade' Tenal Redblade says 'What brings you to my home, ______? Do you seek knowledge of Rallos Zek and the great wars to come?' Hand him the book. Tenal Redblade says 'So, you know my brother Kargek. He is weak and does not believe the legend that our family was chosen by Rallos Zek to bear the great scabbard. Yet he still holds it. Very well, I shall give you the first test since my 'dear' brother seems to have forgotten it. Travel to the fortress where the children of Rallos were first cursed by the Rathe and bring me the heart of one of the goblins who have made it their new home. Do not return without the heart of your foe and this war totem.' You gain experience!! You receive a Frozen War Totem. Go back to East Karana and hand Tenal the Totem of the Freezing War and a Heart of Frost. Tenal Redblade says 'Very good, you have wreaked havoc on your foes in the ancient land of the giants. Rallos Zek must have guided your blade.' Tenal's voice is suddenly silenced and you feel as if your body is frozen. From Tenal's lips issues a voice that is not his own, 'Bring this mortal the scales of the children of Veeshan. The red and green as well as my war totem. I will guide your blade.' Your movement returns as Tenal falls to the ground, gasping for breath.' You gain experience!! He'll give you a Totem of Fiery War. Now get yourself a Green and Red Dragonscale (from Severilous in Emerald Jungle, and Nagafen in Naggy's Lair respectively). Go back to Tenal Redblade and give him the Totem of Fiery War, the Green Dragon Scale and the Red Dragon Scale. Tenal Redblade looks at you oddly as you hand him the scales. 'What are..? You have done well, mortal, and you will be rewarded if you are truly brave. Travel to the Plane of Hatred and slay the ancient bard who lives there. Do not return without his hand and this mark or you will never be a true warlord.' Tenal drops to the ground as the last words leave his lips. You gain experience!! You receive The Mark of the Sword. You'll now need to go to the Plane of Hate and kill the Hand of the Maestro (note: Hand is now pullable without having to kill Maestro of Rancor). You need to loot the hand, which is a rare drop. Bring that back and give it to Tenal along with the mark. Tenal Redblade looks horrified as you give him the hand of the Maestro of Rancor and show him the mark of the sword. The godlike voice returns, 'You have done well to acquire this. One final task must be completed before you hold the red scabbard in your mortal hands.' Tenal reaches out and hands you a note. 'Take this note and a wingblade of the spiriocs to Kargek. When he receives them, I will speak to you one last time.' You receive Tenal`s note to Kargek. You now need a Spiroc Wingblade from the Spiroc Lord in the Plane of Sky. Take the Wingblade and the note to Kargek where he gives you the Red Scabbard and instructions on how to combine the Ancient Blade, Ancient Sword Blade, Finely Crafted Dragon Head Hilt, and Jeweled Dragon Head Hilt. Kargek Redblade says 'What is this? A note from my brother? Thank you for the gift as well.' Kargek reads the note and hands you the huge sword hilt. Your mind is filled with the sound of battle and a voice. 'Place the ancient sword blade, ancient blade, finely crafted dragon head hilt and the jeweled dragon head hilt into the scabbard to receive your rewards. If you think you are worthy, place your rewards into the scabbard and see what havoc you can unleash on the world. Kargek addresses you as you turn to leave. 'One more thing. Gartrog over there has told me of a great discovery. Seems there are all sorts of stones being found in the recently discovered lost dungeons scattered around Antonica. The Wayfarer's Brotherhood has found a way to make items even more powerful by using the stones with existing items.' You gain experience!! Ancient Sword Blade Talk to Denken Strongpick on Aviak Island in the Ocean of Tears. You say, 'Hail, Denken Strongpick' Denken Strongpick says 'Hello, ______. I am Denken Strongpick. I wish I could get off this rock, silly clan honor. My boss broke our rebreathers and we can not go back to the mainland before we gather some goblin relics.' You say, 'What goblin relics?' Denken Strongpick says 'There are supposedly goblin ruins around here somewhere. Fendlemend thinks we will find paydirt underwater. We did find one thing.' You say, 'What did you find?' Denken Strongpick says 'We found a very fine sword blade.' Denken pulls open his pack and shows you a razor sharp sword covered with runes. 'I can't figure out what type of metal it is and I sure can't figure out what technique was used to forge it. Perhaps you would like to take it off my hands and [buy] it?' You say, 'I will buy it.' Denken Strongpick says 'Out here, money is fairly useless to me. You see, I can't leave Fendlemend out here alone. I signed on with a very detailed contract. I could sure [use] a few things from the mainland though.' You say, 'What could you use?' Denken Strongpick says 'I would be willing to part with this very fine blade for; a keg of Vox tail ale, a block of permafrost to keep it cool and two new rebreathers to get this operation back underway.' a) A Keg of Vox Tail ale - bought from alot of vendors around the world. A good place to buy one is the sandfishers in North Ro or the Freeport Port Authority. b) A Block Of Permafrost - Dropped by Ice Giants. (while you're here, kill some goblin wizards until you find a frozen goblin heart -- you'll need it later). c) Two Rebreathers - Tinkered by Gnomes. Expect to drop as much as 4k for getting two rebreathers. Turn the Rebreathers, Keg of Vox Tail Ale, and the Block of Permafrost in to Denken: Denken Strongpick says 'Excellent! Here is your sword. I feel like I'm at home already!' You gain experience!! You get the Ancient Sword Blade. Ancient Blade The Ancient Blade is dropped by the Queen of Chardok. Bring along a large group of friends. Finely Crafted Dragon Head Hilt Head to the chessboard in Timorous Deep. At the base of the King piece you'll find a Severely Damaged Dragon Head Hilt. Head back to Wenden. You say, 'Hail, Wenden Blackhammer' Wenden Blackhammer says 'What do you need? Be specific, I'm busy right now!' You say, 'I have a Severely Damaged Dragon Head Hilt.' Wenden Blackhammer says 'Where in the world did you drag that up?!' Denken peers closely at the severely damaged dragon head hilt. 'This metal is the same material that some mages use to make powerful golems and this other metal looks like rejesiam ore. If you can find some of those materials, I can fix this hilt up easily.' You say, 'What kind of golems?' Wenden Blackhammer says 'That metal is used as the 'soul' of powerful magical constructions like golems. I do not know any place in this world where you could find a golem with a living center as powerful as this once was.' You say, 'What is rejesiam ore?' Wenden Blackhammer says 'Rejesiam ore is from the lands of Kunark. The mountain giants in the frontier mountains control the only known mine of this great ore. They have built a vast fortress around the mine to protect it. The giants don't particularly like to trade with us smaller folks, but there is one old miner named Mentrax Mountainbone who has traded with me in the past. Go find him and tell him Wenden sent you.' You'll also need a Ball of Everliving Golem. This drops from the named golems in the Plane of Fear: Fright, Dread and Terror. Since a march 2015 patch, you may also get it from a harbinger of Fear if the golems are not up. Now go to the Dreadlands, to the giant fort just west of Karnor's Castle. You need to kill the Mountain Giant Patriarch and loot a Giant Sized Monocle. Take the Monocle to Frontier Mountains. Get to the giant fort and get inside. When you get to the very end of the Mine you will see the giant named Mentrax Mountainbone. You say, 'Hail, Mentrax Mountainbone' Mentrax Mountainbone says 'What be it you want! Go away before I eat you for dinner!' You say, 'Wenden sent me.' Mentrax Mountainbone says 'Oh, old Wenden? I guess you be wanting some ore. Well, you can't have none! Not unless you get me a new monocle. No. No. No. Don't even try to talk, you either bring me a new monocle that will fit or no ore for you!' Hand him the Monocle. Mentrax Mountainbone says 'Eh, you actually found one! Thank you, ______. Here is a block of ore for you. Just don't let the other giants know.' You gain experience!! You receive Rejesiam Ore. Now run back to East Freeport with the Rejesiam Ore, Ball of Everliving Golem and Damaged Dragon Head Hilt. Give these to Wenden. Wenden Blackhammer begins to work and hammer away at the hilt pounding the new material into it. You can see the metal shifting and moving in ways you have never seen metal move before. Wenden wipes his brow as he hands you a fantastic looking hilt. You receive a Finely Crafted Dragon Head Hilt. Jeweled Dragon Head Hilt Head to Lake Rathe and pick up an Unjeweled Dragon Head Hilt. It can be found on the lake floor at +2513, +920, underneath the aviak tower. Then head back to Wenden. You say, 'Hail, Wenden Blackhammer' Wenden Blackhammer says 'What do you need? Be specific, I'm busy right now!' You say, 'I have an Unjeweled Dragon Head Hilt.' Wenden Blackhammer says 'That just looks like it's missing some gems. I'm not quite sure what type of gems either but I can tell you two things about them just by the settings. They were all different, and they all were very, very expensive. If I try to put the wrong kind of gems in these slots, it may be ruined forever. I'll do whatever you want, though, just bring me the three gems you want me to try and put in the hilt.' You'll need to get a Diamond, Black Sapphire, and Jacinth. They drop in various zones (Sebilis, Planes) and can almost always be found for sale in The Bazaar. Take the Unjeweled Dragon Head Hilt, Diamond, Jacinth, and Black Sapphire to Wenden: Wenden Blackhammer begins to fiddle with the hilt, gently pressing the gems into place. It seems to take forever as you watch in silence. Wenden slowly places the last gem in place and gently bends the settings to hold the gems before he hands it back to you. 'That's a very impressive looking hilt there. The material it is made out of seems strangely familiar,' Wenden says as he turns back to his forge and his other work. You receive a Jeweled Dragon Head Hilt. Assembling the Sword As originally instructed, place the Ancient Sword Blade, Ancient Blade, Finely Crafted Dragon Head Hilt and the Jeweled Dragon Head Hilt into the Red Scabbard to receive your rewards. Combining the Jagged Blade of War in the Red Scabbard splits it into the Blade of Strategy and the Blade of Tactics. Combine the two blades in the Red Scabbard to get the two-handed version again. | |

Hmm I just had another thought i would like to share. Remember in the story where it says the scabbard was given to the smallest ogre? But now humans have it? So maybe this small ogre has the blade. Anyone checked out the tiny miller?

Umm, the problem here is that most of the FA quest mobs you turn stuff in to are damn near invulnerable. So you want us to run off and kill the first one most of us chatted with? Seems like a bad idea. If he dropped the blade is it covered in runes like the first one? Why did you not post a pic of this blade? Why would you make such a post anonymously? If it had been me that found the seccond blade you better believe I would put my name all over the post!

Hey, remember the time some jerk posted that you get the first blade by killing the gnome and dwarf in OOT? Then, lots of people did this... and got NOTHING.

ok, this is a compilation of all the different items we've seen so far, and what to do with them. there is no new info. the only reason i'm posting this is because we don't have a walkthrough for the quest on either the 1st or the 2nd page. as always, i hope it helps. =) post any corrections, i may have screwed up somewhere in here...
i've started off with an items list, to make this easier..

now for the actual quest part....
the important, and what looks to be starting off point for this quest, is in east freeport... the NPC's name is Kargak Redblade. you'll find a dwarf named Wenden standing next to him. both can be found in the slums of freeport.. (no, there arent' any guards anywhere near them, or i'd be dead). to get to them, head in the gate from north ro and follow the right wall.. don't open any doors, and keep following that wall.. you'll get to em evetually =).
Hilt # 1 - Jeweled Dragon head hilt
well, time to start swimming. in lake rathe, go get the unjeweled dragon head hilt. you can find it spawning on the lake floor, underneath the 3aviak spawn highdive...
now, it's time to get those gems. get a Diamond, Black Sapphire, and a Jacinth. you'll find them in the planes, high lvl dungeons such as sebilis, or from the dino in the ocean of tears.
Take the Unjeweled dragon head hilt Daimond, jacinth, and black Saphire to the dwarf Wenden.
Hand all 4 items to him you will recieve: Jeweled Dragon Head Hilt
Hilt #2 - Finely Crafted Dragon Head Hilt
head to timorous deep... and bring a druid. get levitate and sow, and run your *** down to the southwest corner of the zone, where you'll find the chessboard (loc approx n6k n4k). At the base of the king peice, there is a small bag dropped on the ground - pick it up and you get the Damaged Dragon Head Hilt.
next, get your *** to the plane of fear... the item you are looking for is a Ball of Golem Metal. this drops from the named golems Fright, Dread, and Terror. Also said to drop off of cazic and the dracoliche (yet to be confirmed).
Now get to dreadlands, Go to the Giant castle just west of Karnor castle zone.
Kill every giant you see, in hopes of getting the Mountin Giant Patriarch to spawn. hope you get one of his rarer drops, the Giant Monocle - or you can trade another player for this item, (yes, it is ACTUALLY tradeable.. verant must be slipping...) Take the Monocle to Frontier Mountians. Get to the giant fort... and get inside. When you get to the very end of the Mine you will see the giant: Mentrax Mountainbone
Hand him the Monocle he will give you: Rejesium Ore
Now run back to Freeport east with both ores. Hand the 2 ores and Damaged Dragon Head Hilt to Wenden.
He will give you: Finely Crafted Dragon Head Hilt
BLADE #1
there is a new dwarf npc on aviak island in the ocean of tears - go talk to him, and he'll tell you what he wants for this rusty old blade he found on the ocean floor....
a keg of vox tail ale - bought from alot of vendors around the world.. depending on charisma and faction, from 100-150p. good place to buy em is the sandfishers in north ro or the freeport port authority
Block Of Perma frost - get to killing ice giants - chopping em down makes you feel less frustrated, and after an hour or so you'll get what you came for (the block of permafrost). while you're here, kill some goblin wizards and pick up the frozen goblin heart... you'll need it later.
rebreathers - made by those damn tinkers known as gnomes.... expect to drop as much as 4k for getting two rebreathers.
now, go turn the 2 rebreathers, the keg of vox tail ale, and the block of permafrost in to the dwarf...
bingo, got the 1st blade.

rumors say it drops everywhere from permafrost, to the hole. some say dalnir. all are unconfirmed, as of yet.
Scabbard
go talk to Kargak Redblade in east freeport - next to Wenden.
just say
[I will do you a favor]
You get a letter ( wax sealed note)
Take this letter to an Ogre in Ferrott, His name is Oknoggin ( he hangs out between the Stone bridge and the Fallen totem)
Hand him the letter he gives you a Tiny Lute.
Run back to East Freeport And give the Tiny Lute to Kargek Redblade he gives you a book.. has a bit of history in it, good background info.
Ok take the book over to his brother in East Karana - Tenal Redblade, who is at the very end of the canyon next to the ramp to highpass... right by the clothspinner sister. hand him the book,and he gives you -
a Frozen War Totem
Hand him back the totem and the Frozen Goblin Heart that you got from perma (YOU DID remeber to get one while you camped the Perma frost
block right?????)
He gives you back the Totem of Fiery war. bring it back with a Green Dragon Scale and a Red Dragon scale.
Red Scale - Naggy if your not 53 yet, Skyfire Dragon (Talendor) if you are.
Green Scale - Severlious in the Emerald Jungle
turn both scales in to Tenal Redblade, with the Totem of Fiery war, he gives you
The Mark of the Sword
bring this back with the hand of the maestro, and he gives you an item (i not sure of the name), turn in a wingblade along with the item he gives you and you should now (supposobly) have the scabard. i haven't gotten this far yet =( so i not sure
notes
1) the heart of ice found in the lake of ill omen is not interchangable with that dropped in perma.
2) the block of permafrost will not drop off the IG's outside perma.. so into the dungeon with ya! no cheating (damn you verant...).
3) on the Cazic-Thule server someone trained oknoggin to the oggok zone line, so you best have an invisible potion, to get past the outer guards...
4) you gonna need lots of help to finish this off. it's big, nasty, and basically the hardest thing i've ever seen. damn shamens have it soo easy... their quest doesn't take over 1000 words to describe... =(

now for the actual quest part....
the important, and what looks to be starting off point for this quest, is in east freeport... the NPC's name is Kargak Redblade. you'll find a dwarf named Wenden standing next to him. both can be found in the slums of freeport.. (no, there arent' any guards anywhere near them, or i'd be dead). to get to them, head in the gate from north ro and follow the right wall.. don't open any doors, and keep following that wall.. you'll get to em evetually =).
Hilt # 1 - Jeweled Dragon head hilt
well, time to start swimming. in lake rathe, go get the unjeweled dragon head hilt. you can find it spawning on the lake floor, underneath the 3aviak spawn highdive...
now, it's time to get those gems. get a Diamond, Black Sapphire, and a Jacinth. you'll find them in the planes, high lvl dungeons such as sebilis, or from the dino in the ocean of tears.
Take the Unjeweled dragon head hilt Daimond, jacinth, and black Saphire to the dwarf Wenden.
Hand all 4 items to him you will recieve: Jeweled Dragon Head Hilt
Hilt #2 - Finely Crafted Dragon Head Hilt
head to timorous deep... and bring a druid. get levitate and sow, and run your *** down to the southwest corner of the zone, where you'll find the chessboard (loc approx n6k n4k). At the base of the king peice, there is a small bag dropped on the ground - pick it up and you get the Damaged Dragon Head Hilt.
next, get your *** to the plane of fear... the item you are looking for is a Ball of Golem Metal. this drops from the named golems Fright, Dread, and Terror. Also said to drop off of cazic and the dracoliche (yet to be confirmed).
Now get to dreadlands, Go to the Giant castle just west of Karnor castle zone.
Kill every giant you see, in hopes of getting the Mountin Giant Patriarch to spawn. hope you get one of his rarer drops, the Giant Monocle - or you can trade another player for this item, (yes, it is ACTUALLY tradeable.. verant must be slipping...) Take the Monocle to Frontier Mountians. Get to the giant fort... and get inside. When you get to the very end of the Mine you will see the giant: Mentrax Mountainbone
Hand him the Monocle he will give you: Rejesium Ore
Now run back to Freeport east with both ores. Hand the 2 ores and Damaged Dragon Head Hilt to Wenden.
He will give you: Finely Crafted Dragon Head Hilt
BLADE #1
there is a new dwarf npc on aviak island in the ocean of tears - go talk to him, and he'll tell you what he wants for this rusty old blade he found on the ocean floor....
a keg of vox tail ale - bought from alot of vendors around the world.. depending on charisma and faction, from 100-150p. good place to buy em is the sandfishers in north ro or the freeport port authority
Block Of Perma frost - get to killing ice giants - chopping em down makes you feel less frustrated, and after an hour or so you'll get what you came for (the block of permafrost). while you're here, kill some goblin wizards and pick up the frozen goblin heart... you'll need it later.
rebreathers - made by those damn tinkers known as gnomes.... expect to drop as much as 4k for getting two rebreathers.
now, go turn the 2 rebreathers, the keg of vox tail ale, and the block of permafrost in to the dwarf...
bingo, got the 1st blade.

rumors say it drops everywhere from permafrost, to the hole. some say dalnir. all are unconfirmed, as of yet.

go talk to Kargak Redblade in east freeport - next to Wenden.

You get a letter ( wax sealed note)
Take this letter to an Ogre in Ferrott, His name is Oknoggin ( he hangs out between the Stone bridge and the Fallen totem)
Hand him the letter he gives you a Tiny Lute.
Run back to East Freeport And give the Tiny Lute to Kargek Redblade he gives you a book.. has a bit of history in it, good background info.
Ok take the book over to his brother in East Karana - Tenal Redblade, who is at the very end of the canyon next to the ramp to highpass... right by the clothspinner sister. hand him the book,and he gives you -
a Frozen War Totem
Hand him back the totem and the Frozen Goblin Heart that you got from perma (YOU DID remeber to get one while you camped the Perma frost
block right?????)
He gives you back the Totem of Fiery war. bring it back with a Green Dragon Scale and a Red Dragon scale.
Red Scale - Naggy if your not 53 yet, Skyfire Dragon (Talendor) if you are.
Green Scale - Severlious in the Emerald Jungle
turn both scales in to Tenal Redblade, with the Totem of Fiery war, he gives you
The Mark of the Sword
bring this back with the hand of the maestro, and he gives you an item (i not sure of the name), turn in a wingblade along with the item he gives you and you should now (supposobly) have the scabard. i haven't gotten this far yet =( so i not sure
notes
1) the heart of ice found in the lake of ill omen is not interchangable with that dropped in perma.
2) the block of permafrost will not drop off the IG's outside perma.. so into the dungeon with ya! no cheating (damn you verant...).
3) on the Cazic-Thule server someone trained oknoggin to the oggok zone line, so you best have an invisible potion, to get past the outer guards...
4) you gonna need lots of help to finish this off. it's big, nasty, and basically the hardest thing i've ever seen. damn shamens have it soo easy... their quest doesn't take over 1000 words to describe... =(

Ihave been looking for Kargek all over East Freeport. Is he in the underground system that leads to the ocean? Is he in the actual city itself? Please a little help..I would like to start this quest

Red Dragon Scales are also dropping off the last mob in the Epic Quest for Clerics. Zordakiculus(sp?) Ragefire drops simliar loot to Nagefen. After helping 2 clerics on the Cazic Thule server get thier epic quests completed 4 scales total have dropped with this mob that I know of.
So if you know some clerics that are finishing up thier epic quests, try to get in on thier dragon and get scales.

one of the final mobs in the cleric quest for the water sprinkeler of nem akh is a clone of naggy. you kill naggy, then this guy spawns (at least, that's what is belived...) - the nice thing about this clone of naggy is he doen'st banish 54+ players... and he has the same loot table as nagafen - with the addition of the cleric item. soo... what you do it have two raids setup. 1st one is the 46-53 contingent, and when they done, the 54+ contingent goes in ans kills that extra fun *******... shiver.. i bet he's gonna make CR's really a hard thing after naggy runs...

As one who has been in the killing party of Zordallicus, I can say that in our case, he didn't drop Naggy loot at all. In our case, he dropped "Blazing Armor", a helm and vambraces. Of course, in tells, it's "Holy cow, I'll trade you 'x' for your arms" but they're no drop (AC15 Dex+8 Cha+5 Agi+8 Sv Fire+20, Effect: Shield of Flame, right clickable and castable on others with no casting delay). He also didn't drop the red dragon scale when we killed him, but of course, as we all know, that means absolutely nothing, he very well may drop the scale, just not the time we killed him.

I have been following this quest from day one, and although I cannot do the quest myself (only lvl 31, but working on it) I have taken great interest in it, because I want one for myself someday.. My question is, if it is the second blade, what do you do with it?? The hilts needed to be remade, the first blade had to be purchased (with items), the scabbard needed a few dragon kills to aquire.. With this one; it just drops, you combine, and boom, you're done?? Or do you have to give the blade to an NPC to be remade?? Or did I miss something that one of the NPC's said?

from what i understand (no, i don't have the scabbard) the scabbard is a 4 slot container, which you put all 4 peices of the swords in and hit combine. but, i really don't know- and i'm not sure anyone does.

It was dropped on Cazic about noon today by the Kly. Dalnir is in Waslicks woods and the kly is on the third level. He is a rare spawn. We only killed him once, and we didnt have a warrior there, but guildmate said this is the warrior lost blade. Its no drop, and looks like a bar, also it has no stats.
If you want ill post a pick of it, glad to see you guys finally get this info.

It's been 2 days and still no screen shots of this thing. And we have 2 people total who have seen this thing even drop, correct? Till I see a screen shot I'm guessen the second blade is probibly in the hole.

First the kly etc drop things for a couple quests within Dalnir that are part of Iskar quests. What drops is rod. So guys this is a complete hoax. IMO. Dalnir has NOTHING to do with the Warrior FA quest. There is no logical connection. Period. None. NADA! Don't get your hopes up on this one.

Thanks for someone finally posting the correct information!
I went with my guild on Zec and we camped the Kly, he had the helm 2 times, and the sword the third over a 4 hour period right after you posted this.

We went back in to get a few more for our guild, and not so lucky this time.
It seems this Kly guy is a rare *** spawn, and he drops ****! We did get one more sword over a 26 hour wait, which really pisses me off to put this needed component on a rare spawn as a rare drop, what the hell are you thinking verant?
This second camp had 6 kly in 26 hours, average wait for the kly 4+ hours, arg, and then have to get the damn rare drop.
The blade is titled ancient blade, no stats. We now have one warrior with this blade and we are trying to get the other parts to put it together.
more info when i can.

I am the one who posted the original message about Dalnir and all I said was that it was supposedly found on the Kly. I also said to go to safehouse for more info on it. So far nobody has posted a screenshot there but the person who did find it said they would put one up. Unfortunately that person was in a warriorless group so nobody needed the blade. They posted a description of it etc.
Use the info, don't use the info I don't care. Since we are at a major hurdle and nobody has come up with the answer, this sure seemed like a move in the right direction from an honest poster. I am planning on getting into Dalnir over the weekend to see for myself.

But I have gone through and read all 6 pages of this quest, and I have only seen Siacay help this quest along with beneficial information and positive feedback. Yes she did get pissed once or twice, who cares? On Safehouse the search for the second blade thread has quotes from Estherthetester that confirm that the blade is dropped and they have begun to narrow down the zone. One of the zones they have come up with is Solb which has Kobolds (first of 2 stories from EK npc). Does anyone remember the name of the gnome who cried kobold? Perhaps it is he who drops the second blade.

People are looking at all the mobs for this one. I personally believe it would be in SolB or on an ogre as it would go with the story. SolB would also have the lave versus water thing red versus blue. But that's streching it.

I know we dont have a lot to work with here, and dont want to sound like i am putting down anyones ideas, but why would the <gnome that cried kobold> have anything to do with the second blade? what makes this blade so special that it gets a clue from the gnome? GM's have assured us that the blade is a drop. So now the only thing to do is hit the zones hard. Kill Everything. And Recieve what we have worked for!

Guys, the only problem here is solb is often cleaned out on a dialy basis, IF it was there you'd think someone would have came across it by now but sad to say it looks as if it won't be there. Thinking the Hole after what's been said is due for a nice housecleaning as it is not often raided. If it is in the hole though i'm sure we'll hear about it within a day or 2 with enough raids that will be heading down there.

I have been fighting in SolB even before the quest started and am still there. I have NEVER seen anyone shout about a mysterious blade... at least from the kobold section. Bats are hunted regularly as well and I have NEVER heard anyone say anything. Bats and Bugs are hunted less and the same story, NEVER has anyone said anything. I just went on a Nagafen Raid 2 days ago and cleared out all the FGs and NO mysterious blade... sorry if this sounds like bad news to a good lead. Oh yeah, Nagafen killed 41 of us, we had no wizards and 2 clerics hehehe, oh well, we tried.

I am the same guy who posted the npc in paineel thing a message or two back. Forgot my name. It is Shogol. I'm not strong enough by far to do the quest, but I have noticed him, and an oger in eruds crossing on the island. Not sure what the ogre does, I play on Vallon Zek and was using my erudite cleric to talk to it. Since I am from paineel, methinks it didn't like me, cause it made fun of my breath. But that might be the npc.
The ogre woman I speak of is right by a stone, I think on the back side of the island.

His name is Jaeil the Wretched, and he very rarely gives some weird emote and then says.. "Always cursed with my own curse, this blasted hunk of metal." The paladins and shadow knights both do not claim this guy as part of their quest, so it is very possible it could be the lead-in to the 2nd blade for warrior's quest. I have no clue, only passing on info and think it is a good possibility.
you got a loc area for jaeil? i want to go check that out this weekend... and you right, this is a VERY high possiblity of being it... and since it's on odus it's logical..

Sorry don't know the loc other than that it is near a tower type thing along a tunnel or some such. Hard to describe. I wasn't down there long and didn't have a chance to do any checking as I was alone and running for my life.

Look at the original storyline! it says Rallos Zek destroyed the sword and the pieces were flung all over Norrath. So far there has been one on every continent excpet Erudin and Kunark. I'm not leaning towards Kunark because no other part of the quest has been there, but it is still a possibility. EVEN BETTER, there have been rumors about the second blade coming from Hole...could be. A hard as hell dungeon on the only continent not thoroughly searched for the 2nd blade yet, sounds perfect for Verant to hide a blade. My suspicion is that the blade is somewhere from Hole, maybe even very deep inside, possibly Yael (I mean hell they've made you kill Severilous Talendor and the Spiroc Lord so far). Not too many people kill this guy to tell if he has a brand new drop since the epic quest patch, I think this is it!

could be - also someone mentioned a entierly new NPC in the hole... since i happen to be in fear tonight, i'm going to try and pick up a ball of living clay and find an npc who talks about the blades... i figger the elemental illusion will come in REAL handy.

There have been numerous ideas thrown around about the second blade. Here is another one, although it might already be a quest for something else. Lenka Stoutheart (I think) in the brewers hut in FV, when hailed, lets you hold a blade and tells you there are more like it or something to that effect. I couldn't get more out of her but the Ogre then blabs about Cabby Pale Ale.

Although I am too young to finish this nasty quest (lvl 35) I have managed to obtain a few of the items without much difficulty. Will need to save up quite a bit for the warrior raping that is occurring with the tinkerers charging upwards of 2500 plat per rebreather.

I agree with you here on this one Inar. I have not had a chance to check over there on Erudin, but it does make sense. In the story, it is said that parts of the sword were scaddered all throughout the land. There are 4 pieces, and four continents. It kinda makes scense. Think of it from a programing standpoint too. Since supposedly Verant likes Pallies, and SKs more than us Warriors,(I personally don't believe it) wouldn't they want us running all over the place, and wouldn't they want us having to search every part of the land for this ultimate sword/swords. If they spread out where these pieces drop, then that makes it all that much harder for us. I am just saying it is probably a good Idea to search over there in Erudin. perhaps in the Hole, perhaps not. we just need to search all of the continents.

ok, i checked out lenka stoutheard and the ogre there.... and then ended up finding some cabilis pale ale and giving it to them. de nada. looks like this quest is broken too (thank you verant).
i like the idea of having to break the blade apart, but i can't find any proof for it in game as of yet, so it's probly not there. =(

I agree with Siacay on this one...We have to cut down on ANYTHING that has nothing to do with the HeartSoul quest. If you pick through all the postings, you will see that almost half of them have nothing to do with the quest.

Ok I have heard rumors on other server and my own that when warriors are turning in the green scale they aren't getting anything back, since the blades are red/blue but he wants a red and green scale, maybe you have to do something to the green scale first to make it blue...

you must be at least 50th to turn those scales in to get the next response. that is what other warriors in my guild have told me.

Umm, while interesting I don't believe this is the case. I have seen pictures of all of the weapons so far, and at least the pictures have been right in letting us know what the weapons look like. There are in fact two one handers we do get, and these one handers supposedly form to make the two hander. I guess it could be possible that the 1 blade, and the two hilts form to make one of the one handers, but that would meen that this quest is just incredibly difficult, and therefore really unbalancing the classes, which we ALL know is what Verant absolutly doesn't want to happen...hehe I think we are just missing something. What or where it is I am not sure, but in time hopefully us warriors will have a great sword we could call or own...

no, sounds like the quest is down on that server - scabbard is working fine on cazic, from what i understand (no, i haven't finished this part yet, for obvious reasons... severlious is a big one... =P ).

New npc as of last patch is poping in perma and mentions a shining metal object.....
I did all the parts to this and found another ancient blade.
Its pretty easy so go do it instead of discussing what it could be......

If you have found the second blade and I assume you have done everything else, why don't you bring it back to finish this madness of a quest...It will at least cut down on people flaming each other =)

you know the guys doesnt have to prove that he has or doesnt have the blade if you want it so badly go look for it by yourself you dont even know if he really has the blade or not so just stfu and what if he does but just hasnt gotten some of the items yet hell you dont know if i have or dont have the blade myself i could know where is it but not tell anyone so they can finish the quest first before me because they are in some "uber" guild that will do anything for them and if he wants to get H&S before you and hes not giving ya the loc or name of the guy more power to him

well of all things to share on an information highways such as this. and remember this is a spoiler sight, why must u share your immature actions. the whole ideal of this sight is to work together and solve this quest. We as warriors have alot to prove, to ourselves and to verant. so if you have no useful information dont post anything. BTW flaming people is no solution of any sort. also FYI I have spent alot of time in permafrost getting my block of permafrost for the first blade and there are no new NPC`s in the region. Oh and if u have problems with 40 year olds, maybe your mommy or daddy should cancel your internet connection and make you pay more attention to your scolastic portion of your life. Ok guys, you are doing good work. Im sorry I havent started doin the quest yet and began on helping figure this out, but im only level 42 and havent came close to even going on any Dragon raids. But, i must say, you are all doing a great job.
As far as the bickering going on. Im not really sure why you people must do this. Even Saicay's post; It may be a hoax or it may be real, but why must you question every post on here? I understand that it is frusterating to see this immaturity, but leave it alone. You are making it worse when you post on them, cus that is what they want, ATTENTION. I think we are being very naive to think we will swim somewhere and ooo what's that a blade. Both hilts are that way. The first blade requires us purchasing it from an NPC. We need to find this NPC's counterpart. The second blade will be with him or her and require us to give this NPC something in return for the blade. Now where this NPC is the problem? (Assuming Verant even made sure he was in the game at all.)
I would also like to thank Siacay for his/her excellent work summarizing and contributing to this board. I appologize if can not contribute any more at this time. I will begin my search shortly for the "missing link". It will not be on the planes.

Our warrior now pleased with his quest almost completed realizes. His inventory can only at best hold 80 items. Curse you Rallos Zek, I can't even solo this protion of the quest!!! DOH!!!!

Our warrior now pleased with his quest almost completed realizes. His inventory can only at best hold 80 items. Curse you Rallos Zek, I can't even solo this protion of the quest!!! DOH!!!!

i think the basis on which we think the second blade MIGHT be found around water is the first blade was PURCHASED in OOT, as it were =). i also doubt that we'll find it lying on the ground.
btw, after careful scouring of the lake of ill omen, no luck there. damn bloodgills... it's a real pain getting around them.

The first blade is found in water, has anyone tried looking for the second blade in fire, lava, or earth? After all, one blade is blue (water/cold) and the other blade is red (fire/hot). I'm guessing Lavastorm, burning woods, or skyfire would have the second quest npc.

come on guys where do u get the information that the first blade is blue?????? i have the fist blade and if anything it is steel grey. you cant equip it so u dont know what it looks like other than when in your inventory and it most definetley doesnt have a blue color to it.

that were posted a while back there are 2 1h slash type weapons 1 with a red aura, and the other with a blue aura, and there was a 2h slash type with 1/2 red and 1/2 blue aura.

Basicly I feel the second blade will be like the first, Someone has it and you have to go get stuff that you would not normally care for to get it. So everyone start talking to NPCs in the suspected water areas. This is in hope that the aqisition of the second blade will be like the first; like both hilts were alike in that all you had to do was pick up the little bag.
Question: How do we know which blade goes to which hilt? Has someone identified them to see if they give off any info<i just started acctually doing the quests>.

Simply because the one hand weapons are going to be powerful enough that Verant will want you to get the nearly impossibly scabbard before you can get a sword, so you would combine the hilt and the sword, then with both swords in you can combine for the twohander, possibly split the two hander into the two one handed. Just some thoughts.

The blade found in mines is for a pally quest.
The scabbard is a 4 slot container, believed to be used when you've collected your two hilts and blades to combine into the bigass sword.

ok, the story is, rallos took the two swords, broke them, and scattered their peices. he gave the scabbard to the smallest of the ogres, for safe keeping.
now, the broken blade scattered around the world part FITS the storyline as we know it so far. the two hilts are found lying on the ground, and a gnome found the 1st blade under water on a salvage operation. so following the FOUND items locations it is an interesting parrallel
1st hilt - found in lake rathtear
1st blade - found in the ocean of tears
2nd hilt - found in the timmorous deep.
ok, going from this, would it be logical to scour lake rathtear and the lake of ill omen for the second blade? i plan on it, once i am done with this weekend and have a little more time. just by the sequence, the lake of ill omen is logical.... though i don't know yet.
other zones with water posiblities (i'm only talking about the zones that primarily involve water)

Only one thing wrong here Siacay. The first blade was found in Ocean of Tears and not TD. I hope you havent run around looking for the second blade based on some assumption that the first blade was found in TD.

Just a thought, but Rathe is on Antonica, TD can be considered Kunark, and OOT can be considered part of Faydwer. So that's one piece per continent except for Odus. Could mean that Erud's Crossing or some other large body of water in Odus is where the second blade is.

Kerra isle has water and is on odus. It is also largely unpopulated by pc's so maybe its verants excuse to get ppl there

I am a lvl58 Ogre Warrior on Fennin Ro server. My guild help me complete most of the quest. I've killed dragons with the weapon =)

yet again, another post that is completly worthless... if you don't want to PROVE you got the damn thing why are you telling us??? prove it, and i'll belive you. however, since you diddn't even bother leaving your NAME attached to the post, i find it highly unlikely that you came even close to completing the quest. sorry bud, but you want credit? prove to me you deserve it.
