This quest was apparently removed at some point.

Kobot Dellin runs from Guard tower 2 to the West Karanas / Qeynos hills Zone and back. If you give him a plains pebble, he then asks if you will do a [favor] for him. Unfortunately he doesn't seem to respond after that, so this may be broken.

Need all dialogues, faction hits if any, rewards if any, /loc of spawn for Kobot Dellin, additional information required to complete quest.

The plains pebbles were at one point no drop, that has however been removed, and once imbued not only are very well for racial/class/diety armor, but can be used by a jeweler and made into some decent jewerly

I am a Human Cleric of Karana and I get plains pebbles from my Ranger wife, Imbue them and give them to a guildbrother Halfling who uses them for Halfling Racial armor. ( Imbued Vale Armor)
They are no longer no drop!

I am halfelven ranger, and I forage pebbles all the time. It did seem to me that my food and water consumption was cut in half by carrying one, but, I had no way that I knew of to know for sure.

The plain pebble indead decreases your consumption rate of food and water, by what % i am not for sure but i went around a hour without using a single food or water...the key is that the pebble has to be in a general inv slot and not in a bag which most people prob have it in therefore it doesnt work for them. Now that they are no drop you can sell them to all the necros and sk's out there as well as the iskar monks for there bronze shackle quest =)

Not for Dellin...
# Dec 03 2000 at 11:05 PM Rating: Default
I gave one to Dellin, nothing happened... There is no quest for him. Apparently the only thing these stupid things are good for is an Iksar quest and the new Racial Blacksmithing that can be done by Wood Elves. (I know they can be used for Smithing, cause I have made some pretty nifty weapons using them...)

Clerics that follow Karana can imbue these. A friend of mine with a 50+ high-elf wizard is bugging the bejesus out of me for these, so give em to your caster friends with the pointy ears.

It turns a regular plains pebble into a magic one, used for various tradeskills.
plains pebbles are no longer no drop
# Oct 13 2000 at 1:11 AM Rating: Good
They are no longer no drop and also karana followers can cast a spell that turns them into imbued plains pebbles.

this makes them stackable and very easy to give to another person.
Have heard they r from special smithed armor and wepaons have no idea though

the spell to imbue them is at the NK druid ring and is lvl 29 if you karana druids want to test it out

spell
imbue plains pebble
casting time 6
mana cost 200
level 29
Imbued pebble use...

Once imbued they can be used by wood elves for racial smithed weapons (recipe can be found in Allakhazam's smithing section)
RE: What about Tunare druids?..

May druids of Tunare also umbue these pebbles?

My alt may be bugged or whatever but she can imbue both emralds and plains pebbles. When imbued the pebbles stack.

Can also be used by high elf wizards. A follower of Karana must imbue the pebble - i.e., Brellis-following dwarf clerics will not be able to imbue

Ok here's what I have heard.

Apparantly there is a quest in Cabilis that gives you a water summoning something or the other. Supposedly has unlimited charges of summon water or soemthing. However it would seem that in order to do this you would have to work for literally days to get high enough faction to get into cabilis. but may be worth it in the end. Gonna try to find more info on this, and will get back later.

they better be for something

I'm a master forager... like any respectible ranger. All I know is when camping the ghoul messenger I forage at least 5 of them an hour... and I'm really sick of the things
lore

sorry, i said they were lore items, they are not, they are no drop items. i've foraged at least 12 in the last 2 days, in nk and sk, no idea what to do with them. Are you sure they are for a monk quest. It says your have " scrounged up some food", can they be a trade item for a merchant ?

Just thiking out loud
Iksar Forage
# Jul 24 2000 at 3:24 PM Rating: Decent
Iksar Forage, while capped very low, does not function like other's forage. Iksar can forage special items even with their low skill. I have not been able to forage any of the special items like mud crabs, etc. with my bard in LoIO, but my Iksar gets them all the time. My ranger friend (master forager+) can forgae these items however.
No Drop

Plains Pebbles are No Drop. Monk's cannot "beg" them off of anyone.
Racial Forge Skill
# Jul 24 2000 at 12:22 PM Rating: Decent
To Forage a plains pebble, your forage skill has to be 100+, Racial skills are set at 50 and never advance. Guess the monk has to beg one off a ranger/druid, which should be easy since I don't know of any other use for them. Though I heard a rumor that they'll reduce water consumption in the desert, haven't confirmed it.

you do not have to have any forage skill, although it wont hurt. I have found them just sitting on the ground and have picked them up. I have two so far, but have yet to do anything with them.

Uhh, nope. We are talking about foraging plains pebbles... read the above posts. Forge = Blacksmithing | Forage = Finding food & items
Iksar
# Jul 24 2000 at 12:00 PM Rating: Decent
Iksar have forage as a racial skill the same as Wood Elves do.
#Anonymous, Posted: Jul 24 2000 at 11:54 AM, Rating: Sub-Default, (Expand Post) How can a foraged item, clearly a druid skill, be for a Monk quest when it is a NO DROP item? It's not like the monks can buy it off us druids.
#Anonymous, Posted: Dec 06 2000 at 10:44 PM, Rating: Sub-Default, (Expand Post) Do not be so sure that foraging is CLEARLY a druid skill. Monks start off with it at first level as well. In fact, my 2nd level monk is amazingly good at foraging.
