ive camped the north tower for days now and ive not seen a sign of Karg! someone told me this was the place to wait, was I misled? Can someone tell me where is the optimum place to wait for Karg

You say, 'I have slain a werewolf.' Karg IceBear says 'Werewolf?! I have not seen a werewolf in years. Have you slain one and collected its skin or its claws?' You say, 'What skin?' Karg IceBear says 'You have managed to procure a werewolf skin?? Amazing! Well then, I will let you know that for a fee of 100 platinum, I can craft a hearty cloak for you if you leave the skin and the coin with me.' Give him a Werewolf Pelt and 100 pp for your reward. Karg IceBear says, 'OK! Now, where is the rest?' Karg IceBear says, 'It has been a long time since I crafted items from werewolves. I hope this aids you in your journeys. Which werewolfs can you get a pelt from all?

I just got the pelt after many many many days of trying. Don't bother with the one who spawns at night near the Qhills boarder in WK. Instead camp Millers Farm in WK. Best to take someone with you that has tracking, as at night this is the easiest way to find him. Still, I'm a 33rd Ranger and it took me awhile to get it. Don't bother with Wc werewolves. There are so many players out there its just gonna drive you nuts trying. So be at least lvl 30 or have someone who is a ranger who is higher than you or close to your lvl as this is a Lvl 25 mob. But Take a Ranger. This is one time you're gonna need tracking if you want the pelt as badly as I did.

I got the werewolf pelt off the werewolves that spawn in the ballroom at mistmore.
It just seems there are alot more chances to get one in there than wait for a once
a day spawn somewhere else. Plus you have the chance of getting the name
gypsie to spawn that drops the MM drums or Lute.

Wouldnt it be easier to get the werewolves in Unrest??? MM can be kinda tough for people around 25 trying to do this quest...

There are no werewolves in Unrest, so no, it wouldn't be easier. It'd be awful tough.

Werewolves lvl 25 ? I was 26 or 27 and an untwinked SK - took me down about two and half bubs - they not scary at all. Didn't even have my pet. Got my pelt in WC just as about 5 ppl from a guild turned. Not sure whether I want this cloak, now i know what it is for - is it better than my lizzy I wonder....?

We have been trying to find this guy Karg for days and he has yet to show up. I know he is camped at all times and people will kill him before you even have a chance to get the cloak .. good laugh .. 2 hours ....

I just tried this myself on Sept 9th. I had to hail him 3 times to get any response. I asked him about pelts and he went off about wolf pelts I think. I asked about werewolves and he said he hasn't seen any in a long while. I just decided to risk the plat and gave him a werewolf PELT and 100pp. I got a new WW Cloak :)

Now wait a minute, the text at top says "werewolf SKIN" and other posts mention "werewolf PELT". I've heard that werewolves drop both. Which is it? Skin or Pelt?

The fact is that many quests mention skins when, in fact, they mean pelts. Originally, many of these items were called skins. Somewhere along the way, the names were changed to pelts, but not all the names were changed on all creatures nor on all quests. The SIMPLE truth, you jerk, is that they are interchangeable. If something calls for a skin, a pelt will work, and vice versa.

Yes, the quest works fine, as long as you can find him uncamped to complete it. You do not (in fact-cannot)say anything to get him to reply about cloak. All you do is open trade window with him, place WW Pelt inside along with 100pp and hit trade button...WahLah! A ww cloak that sells for as much as 300pp (especially to high level monks) depending on server.

I atempted to get a cloak last night and Karg would not respond to any /says about the subject. If you say "claw" he will talk about the gauntlets but I could not get him to say a word about the cloak.
