You say, 'Hail, Romar Sunto' Romar Sunto says 'I am Romar Sunto, servant of Solusek Ro. I am searching for the [coin] of the mighty enchanter [Tash] - if you are interested in helping me acquire it, I will [reward] you with a powerful spell. I am also a dispenser of the Staff of Ro, sometimes also called [darkwood staves].' You say, 'What coin?' Romar Sunto says 'Tash had a collection of ten antique silver coins that were left in different cities around the world. If you were to collect all 10 coins, I would give you a [coin pouch] that would let you combine them into the master coin of Tash. If you are interested, I will sell you a copy of the Tome of Tash, detailing where the coins were reportedly left, for a mere 50 gold.' You say, 'Who was Tash?' Romar Sunto says 'Tash was a mighty enchanter and master jewelcrafter.' You say, 'What is the reward?' Romar Sunto says 'I will reward you with a scroll for the spell Tashania. For personal use, of course.' Romar Sunto says 'Once you combine the coins within the pouch, you must take the Coin of Tash to Tarn Vislin in the HighKeep library to get it enchanted. Give him the coin and he will enchant it for you.' Your faction standing with Temple Of Sol Ro got better. Your faction standing with Shadowed Men got worse. You gain experience!! You say, 'What coin pouch?' Romar Sunto says 'I will lend you this coin pouch - put all 10 antique silver coins into it and combine them into the Coin of Tash.' For 50 gp, he will sell you a book called "Tome of Tesh" [sic] on where to find all 10 coins and will give you A Coin Pouch to combine them in. The coins are called "An Old Silver Coin," and can be found in the following places: (1) Ak'anon - Near great wheel (not in water) (+1990, -260, -125); (2) South Kaladim - Pool by warrior's guild (+75, +360, -5); (3) Erudin Palace - in the pool outside the guilds (+703, +740, +44); (4) North Qeynos - under Temple of Life "UFO" in the Koalindl Fish Pool (-90, -445, -10); (5) Halas - lake in front of city to the left of docks on a ledge (-138, +179); (6) Oggok - in lake near warrior guild at the north end (+103, +108); (7) Grobb - in pool near bar where you first enter the zone (+197, -261); (8) Neriak Commons - Outside Blind Fish window near ice comet rod (0, -795, -70); (9) North Felwithe - at the edge of the fishing pond (-110, -790, -50); (10) West Freeport - In the pool near the Arcstone portal (-150, -845, -233). I have laid a basic enchantment on it - to get it further enchanted you must take the coin to Mizr N'Mar in the Library of Neriak.' You gain experience!! You receive a Glowing Coin of Tash. Go to Mizr N`Mar in the library in Neriak 3rd Gate at +915, -1315, -67. and give him the coin of Tash. Mizr N`Mar says 'Ah - the Coin of Tash - and already enchanted by..? Tarn? Very good! I have enchanted it further - you must now take the coin to Raine Beteria in the Library of Erudin to get the final enchantment.' You gain experience!! You receive a Gleaming Coin of Tash. Go to Raine Beteria in Erudin at -1050, -210, +68, and give her the coin. Raine Beteria says 'Thank you very much. I have always wanted one of these! Hehehe? just kidding. I see that you have enchanted this coin. I have placed the final enchantment on it - take it back to Romar.' You gain experience!! You receive a Radiant Coin of Tash. Take this back to Romar. Romar Sunto says 'The Coin of Tash - fully enchanted! I am in your debt. Here is the scroll of Tashania that was promised to you.' You gain experience!! Raine Beteria is Located at -1049, -212, 68 in Erudin (not the palace). On find under Enchanter Spells.
Mizr N`Mar is located at 913, -1314, -67 in the library in Neriak 3rd Gate, also on find.

JKY is right... casting Delf illusion on yourself to do the Neriak part of this quest simply doesn't work. Doing alliance/benevolence doesn't seem to work either.
1) Have your gate spell memm'd
2) Summon your pet (may not guarantee 100% protection but might help when casting gate)
3) Invis yourself, simply run to the coin loc (outside Blind Fish window = in the water just near Neriak Commons city gate entrance)
4) Loot it and cast gate immediately
Too bad I hadn't read his post till I acutally got killed ><

Quickest way to do this in POk is to follow these portals and bind in front of each one took me just 1 hour to get all coins

Although gengisjon gave a very good and useful explanation of how to find it, there was one thing that was never made clear. YOU DON'T NEED TO GO INDOORS !
When you are on the bridge outside the gate, that's where you jump off to go swimming. When I found the coin and got right above it, my location was 0, -793, -70.

A point that needs to be stressed. If you are not agnostic, your illusions will not help in Neriak Commons with the guards. For some reason, they can sense which diety you worship, and apparently, if you don't worship the DE diety, yer screwed as far as the guards are concerned. Swimming by them and having invis up sounds like a superb idea to me.

My level 42 DE Chanter did this in under 2 hours with some interuptions.
Binding in PoK, I just went to each zone, cast the appropriate Illusion to get into zone then gate back to PoK.
(1) Ak'anon - Just keep swimming north as soon as you hit water, take the fork to the left, then at the water wheel get out to the left, bag is next to pedestal with rotating star.
(2) South Kaladim - Pool by warrior's guild - Piece of cake.
(3) Erudin Palace - in the pool outside the guilds - Third floor, big fountain sitting on rock.
(4) North Qeynos - under Temple of Life "UFO" in the Koalindl Fish Pool;
(5) Halas - lake in front of city to the left of docks on a ledge (-138, +179);
(6) Oggok - in lake near warrior guild at the north end (+103, +108); - This took me the longest, next to a support pedestal.
(7) Gukta - in pool near bar where you first enter the zone (+197, -261);

Helping my chanter wife with this quest. Neriak was easy enough to find, but I could NOT get out of the water. Still waiting to get the Oggok coin. Probably 4 hours to get the coins so far.

Ak'Anon coin is located at loc 1992, -260, -124
Once you get directions from the spazoid guards. They stop. Keep going in the same direction to a big pillar below you. On the other side of the hall you'll see the great wheel. Go to the other side of that, and turn right. In the corner near a glowing yellow star is the coin.
I'm just want to add. That this quest sucks. If it wasn't for a spell. I wouldn't do this. I hate hide and go seek crap.

There is NO waterfall in either North or South Felwith. The directions to swim to the right of the fisherman in North Felwith is correct. The coin is in the middle of the open area.(thanks go to Singuise of Xegony's Tainted Champion for pointing out this oversight for me!!) P.S. "at the edge of the fishing pond" makes absolutly no sence in accordance to where it is found

I was looking all over for this coin in the pool because all I read was that was where it was supposed to be, well look up on the fountain cause thats where it sits in the pool. Though some of the coins weren't exactly where they posted them they were still fairly easy to find, was a learning experience. Explored some of the zones I normally do not go to, so I guess thats part of the experience.

I turned the Glowing Coin into Mizr but he gave it back saying he had no need for it. He conned amiable before and after benevolence. Do I need to do some faction work or is this a bug?

Is this quest bugged atm? I paied the guild in Temple of Sol Ro the 50 gold and all i got was the Tome of Tash i didnt get the item to combine it. So whats the deal??

This quest isnt overly hard and can be done whenever you feel comfortable going to Lavastorm. The only tricky part will be finding all the coins, some of them are pretty tricky.
Erudin - In the pool, in the Lobby of the caster guilds.
Felwithe - In the water, by the fisherman. Jump in and head to the fisherman's right. Keep going till you find the open area with the waterfall, cant miss it.
Gukta - By the bar called "The Watering Hole". Just look for the bar, the coin wont be hard to find after that.
Oggok - Head in with Illusion: Ogre on and find the Warrior guild, but dont go into the guild building. Instead, get in the water and swim underneath the bridge that leads to the building. The coin is right under there.
Kaladim - In a pool, right outside the Warrior guild. Cant miss it.
Ak'Anon - Right by the big Wheel thing. Another one that is hard to miss.
North Qeynos - Right under the UFO.
Halas - Under the dock before you actually enter the city itself. Theres a ledge right under the lip of the dock.
West Freeport - Under the building that you need a key to enter. The academy of Arcane Sciences (or something like that)
Neriak *COMMONS* - This is the hardest one. Not because it's overly difficult to find, but just because nobody ever explains it right. This one is IN THE WATER outside the BLIND FISH BAR. Heres how to get to it.
When you get to the commons, hit Illusion: DE, unless you are a DE, or an Evil worshiping Enchanter, then run down and around until you see the wandering guard. Jump in the water, and swim around until you're on the outside of the normal city buildings. You'll find some underwater windows. Thats where the coin is. It is right next to "a rod" which is something for the Wizard epic i think, but who cares about that, theres the coin.
On this map of Neriak Commons it is right outside the building marked number 2, in the water. Watch out for the halfling that swims there. He swims right over it.
And there they are. All ten of them. Exactly where they are.
After that, take the coins back to Romar Sunto, he gives you the Coin of Tash, then take them IN THIS ORDER to the following NPCs:
Highhold Keep: Erudite standing Next to a human in the Library. Its the bigger library across from the smaller one.
Neriak 3rd Gate(Yes you have to come back): In the Library, not hard to find at all. Incidently, if you dont have a copy of Enchant: Adamantite, i'd pick it up.
Erudin: Make sure you cast Illusion: Erudite and Benevolence/Alliance/Collaboration or whatever you have for this one. If you dont she will eat the coin. Enter Erudin, and go over the teleport pad. Oggok coin was at 103, 108 in the nw section of the pool
I did the quest in 2.5 hours .. was easy since you can port to all starting cities... the only hard part was the run to highkeep no matter what way you went was a long way up there.

Has anyone had any problems giving Romar the Radiant coin? Hsays to me "He doesn't need it". Is this a faction issue?

Ok, It was a faction issue. You can kill shadowmen or The quick way (if you got some plat to spend) give 3pp (or 30 gold) at a time to Rathmana Allin in South Ro. It took about 130pp to get from Apprehensively to amiable.
I am at amiable and he still won't let me turn in the coin =/. Higher end of amiable maybe?

As commented earlier, the coin is at the northern end of the pool surrounding the warrior guild, but that's not a small place to search. It is at the base of the pillar in the northwest corner, on the west side of the pillar, so can be difficult to see.
