A Simple Task - Level 90

These "Simple Tasks" are a series of kill tasks that take place in current hotzones (see this wiki article for a list).
This task begins with Franklin Teek (map) in the Plane of Knowledge. He is located east of the entrance to the Guild Lobby. You say, 'Hail, Franklin Teek' Franklin Teek says 'Hello _____! Are you seeking an adventure? If so just tell me if you want to learn about opportunities for [level 20], [level 25], [level 30], [level 35], [level 40], [level 45], [level 50], [level 55], [level 60], [level 65], [level 70], [level 75], [level 80], [level 85] or [level 90]. I also have an [alternate] opportunity for level 90 adventurers.' NOTE: Say "Level 90" for the Valley of Lunanyn and say "alternate" for the Grounds. You say, 'Level 90' Franklin Teek says 'You may wish to investigate (current Level 90 hotzone). While you are there perhaps you would be willing to perform a [task] for me?' You have been assigned the task 'A Simple Task - Level 90' Complete the task that Franklin gave you. You'll be asked to kill five of a certain type of mob in the given hotzone. Kill targets will vary by the day. The zone involved will always be the current hotzone for this level. Kill 5 cliknar centurions - Arthicrex Kill 5 toads - Fear Itself Reward: Extravagant Adept's Belt, Cloak or Hood (for casters / priests) Extravagant Combatant's Belt, Cloak or Pauldrons (for melees / hybrids) 200 platinum You gain experience! The alternative option is no longer an option.
They do rotate zones the first of the month and usually if the servers are taken down for anything and each server can offer different tasks.

At level 90, this gave me 30+ AAs (it maxed them out so who knows) and 2 blue bars of exp. This is with 40% of my exp going into AAs. This quest is a must-have every day. My server has an exp boost so it may be a bit less for others.
You need lvl 86 for take this task.

complete and utter waste of time. exp has been removed, just get extravagant defiant
MUCH better for AAXP. If you do these tasks and want regular XP, the smart thing to do is turn on REG XP for the first 4 mob kills then turn on AAXP at 100% for the 5th and last kill. The AAXP reward is very generous but when it's changed to regular XP, yeah it's barely worth the effort when you factor in the time to get the quest, run to the quest zone, do the killings, etc.

I still got EXP and the EXP is still listed with the 200PP
The level is not 75 because at level 85 you don't take the Level 90 (VoA) quest or the "alternate" (The ground) quest.
Plus they're all dubious and there is no faction hit. So it isn't all that hard to isolate soldiers and troopers altho you do have to pick them away from impalers and rangers. After a while with every player picking out the quest types, they get pretty scarce on the ground.

kill 5 farmers in VoL. 4% normal exp at 95. the item reward is terrible though.
the other variation in VoL is killing 5 oashims. The best place for this is near the rallosian encampment.

Actually sounds pretty generous on the XP. 4% is a lot more reg XP than you'd get just from killing 5 trash mobs. It's repeatable, so bind yourself at the quest-giver and you can rock thru these, if you have transport available.
Lockout timer is probably 18 hours, though, so nix that idea. LOL

The lockout is 18 hours; however, you can request both the level 90 and alternate (grounds currently) tasks at the same time then proceed to complete both. The lockout prevents requesting additional tasks, but not the completion of currently assigned.
