Just wondering if anyone knows if this quest will still reward the Giant Fire Beetle Eye that enchants silver, or has this been nerfed?

Well I will say this much if you cannot use the poison try selling it in E commons. With ten charges this should sell fairly quickly and you may get around 100pp for it. The sow 10charge potions sell for that much that I do know. No reason why someone cannot get that much for it. Ive never seen any sell before so I cant say for sure, but who knows give it a shot..I too am currently working on this quest, but being only lvl 4 I havent gotten too far with it yet. I have gotten the silk, fb eye, and sack (I bought from a vendor in Rivervale in the back of the clerics guild). Good luck to you all and happy hunting.

After 3 days completed this quest. Most of that time strolling between EC and Misty. (Bought 9 egg sacs at 1gp each)

Went back to Misty, shouted every once in a while, ended up getting Wing and Leg.

Combined, gave it back to Blixin... got a Silver Bracelet!

I'm going to keep at it until Brace of Beetlekind... maybe get a few warbeads while I hunt. A nice quest all around;)

Blixkin Entopop spawns at loc 70.22, -2059 in misty, just in case anyone needs to know

Yup, the queen klacknak spawns in misty thicket near the domed huts. I was running through misty one night a few months ago when she spawned, it seems that if you were to kill enough of here klacknack brood (workers,fire beetles...etc.)she will spawn.

This also seems be the case with the qeynos queen as well (she spawns inside the secret sewer entrance on the left side of the main gates in the newbie area, it's marked by green vines).

The one thing thats strange about the queen is that before she dies, she'll release 5 hatchlings
they'll try and attack you-but there very weak.

The scarab sacs can usually be bought from the middle merchant in the hidden inn, it's located between the two orc camps in east commons for around 2-3 gold each.

After spending 4 days on this quest-1 on the spiderling eye and silk and fire beetle eye, 1 buying the giant scarab egg sac in Freeport and the giant fire beetle leg in Qeynos, and 2 killing giant wasps to get a wing, I was dissapointed to end up with a vial of spider venom. What's up with that?!? Does he just give random things or what? I was hoping to get a worthy reward for this quest-now I know all that time I spent trying to get all this stuff together, I could have barshed things in East and West Commons and gotten enough money to buy that stuff!!! I guess it just depends on what he gives you! Beware!

This is an enjoyable quest, even though the rewards are small and it takes HOURS to get the giant wasp wings (I must have killed 90 wasps, and I still ended up buying them anyway). Don't make the mistake I did and try to use normal wasp wings: they dont work. I too only got spider venom as a 'prize' which I cant even use...

Has anyone got this item? Or is it a fake? Just wondering.

I cannot understand how you can say this isn't a worth while quest. The item's you get for this is GREAT. 14 charges of cure poison. As a Rogue i am going to be making poison soon and guess what that means i have to kill things that and poison you. I don't use the braclet to wear but i keep it on me at all times just in case i need it. Also the beetlekind braclet is very nice has desent AC and even give's some str. The RV bracelets don't give str. And you also get a resistance with it. The poison is great thing to get for free. While killing thing i alway keep stuff on me and i get the spider poison one less then i need to make. And the potion well if i am somewhere it has last's a desent amount of time and give a healthy boost in your poison resistance. I see no down side to this quest. I am lvl 22 and and i just went back and did it again so i could get my new Silver Braclet due to finally used up all my charges of cure poison.

I have tried to obtain giant FIRE beetle legs, but haven't had much luck. The giant scarab legs off of the giant scarab beetles in Misty won't cut it & the death beetles in Unrest drop giant scarab legs as well...when I combined the box I got the these items do not combine message. So I'm not sure that this is a good quest...time consuming and a weak reward aren't the qualities that I like in a quest, but hey, it's EQ! When don't they have fulfilling quests??!?!

u can get giant wasp wings in greater faydark from giant wasp drones, they are lvl 1-2

I've killed over 80 giant scarabs and still have not seen an egg sac. I don't know if I'm doing it wrong or what, but I've gone from levels 8 - 14 killing giant scarabs at every opportunity, and am geting discouraged.
