This solo task begins with Pickslave Lurr (map) in the Valley of King Xorbb. He's found at -1400, 1150, -312. This is in the underground system. At the bottom of the waterfall in the southwestern part of the valley are two bridges that criss-cross. Lurr is found in the tunnel that extends east from the lower bridge. Pre-Requisites: - Level 85 - No tasks You say, 'Hail, Pickslave Lurr' Pickslave Lurr glances briefly at you and mutters under his breath, '[Flarglegrump ak murgledoo]! That is Goblin for "I hate you!"'. You say, 'You hate me?' Pickslave Lurr says 'Argh! So it was, as it must be. The one who bound you here was me.' Pickslave Lurr says 'Now our [cause] you must protect, or by our vengeance, you'll be wrecked!' You say, 'What cause?' Pickslave Lurr says 'Eyes once caught we must seal once more, if our rightful place we would restore.' Pickslave Lurr says 'A secret [serum] long forgot shall switch us with our "Master's" spot.' You say, 'Tell me about this serum?' Pickslave Lurr says 'By blindness only can our foes be brought to task, so bring me quickly what I ask:' Pickslave Lurr says 'A [wisp] of smoke, some muddite mud, and a drop of blackest mephit blood.' You say, 'What wisp?' You receive a "Silvern Phial". You have been assigned the task 'An Eye for an Eye'. Lurr has enlisted you to assist him in finding a way to overthrow the evil eyes. Use the Silvern Phial to gather some smoke from one of the minotaurs' campfires 0/1 (Valley of King Xorbb) Around minotaur campfires in the valley are mobs called "a cloud of smoke". Right-click the Phial on one of these for this update. Collect some mud from the muddites near the river 0/1 (Valley of King Xorbb) Updates upon muddite kills. Collect some blood from a mephit 0/1 (Valley of King Xorbb) Updates upon mephit kills. Return to Pickslave Lurr 0/1 (Valley of King Xorbb) Use the Essence of Blindness on an Evil Eye 0/1 (Valley of King Xorbb) Right-click the Essence of Blindness on any evil eye. Defend yourself against the Blackened Eye! 0/1 (Valley of King Xorbb) You'll need to kill it. Report to Pickslave Lurr and tell him of the results 0/1 (Valley of King Xorbb) Use the Silvern Phial to collect some fluid from a spill in the sewers 0/1 (Valley of King Xorbb) Target an ooze and right-click on the Silvern Phial for this update. Find where the goblins are storing their food, and obtain some ground black pepper 0/1 (Valley of King Xorbb) This is a ground spawn in the bar / kitchen area at about -725, 730, -345 (same vicinity as Gerbril the Cook). Collect some scratchy rat fur 0/1 (Valley of King Xorbb) Updates upon rat kills (in underground system). Return to Pickslave Lurr 0/1 (Valley of King Xorbb) Use the Concoction of Burning Agony on an Evil Eye 0/1 (Valley of King Xorbb) Right-click the Concoction on any evil eye. Defend yourself against the Irritated Eye! 0/1 (Valley of King Xorbb) Again, you'll need to kill it. Report to Pickslave Lurr and tell him of the results 0/1 (Valley of King Xorbb) Use the Silvern Phial to collect some clear water from water elementals 0/1 (Valley of King Xorbb) Right-click the Silvern Phial on any water elemental. Collect some ragweed from the riverbank in the valley 0/1 (Valley of King Xorbb) This is a ground spawn on the northwest side of the river at about 1015, 340, -30 (appears as a small bush on the ground). This /loc is a little ways northeast of the minotaur architect camp in the north-central part of the valley. There is also a ragweed ground spawn on the rocks where the river enters the cavern at -1175, 1440, -105. Return to Pickslave Lurr 0/1 (Valley of King Xorbb) Use the Distillate of Tears on an Evil Eye 0/1 (Valley of King Xorbb) Right-click the Distillate on any evil eye. Capture the Runny Eye! 0/1 (Valley of King Xorbb) Target the evil eye and right-click the Scrap of Blanket. tried 4 times to get an irritated eye to spawn did it at 100 % then 80% last one I did it at 30 % bottle poofed and got another black eye like before. hat am I doing wrong?? friend got his on first try ??? what is with that??
Ragweed looks like a tiny green bush with red berries by the way, and it's pretty close to the Architect's camp too, on the point of a small hill/rock.
There's also a ragweed ground spawn on the rocks where the river enters the cavern at (-1175, +1440, -105)

Have to disagree with Ddrigoch on the choice of eye - our group clicked on any eye and it worked for us - we waited until the mob was 30% or less and then clicked each time on 3 differnet named eyes it became an irritated eye which we then killed.
If for some reason, you accidentally click the Essence vial on a blackened eye (or while figuring out how it works), you'll use up your charge and there doesnt seem to be a way to get a new Essence of Blindness. I had to start over. Same is true for other clickies; only 1 charge, so get it right the first time.

If you return to Pickslave Lurr and say "fun" again he'll give you another essence. Be sure to destroy the one depleted of charges first as they're lore.
Clcik them right away (100%) becuse they despawn and respawn as a Blackened Eye at 100%.... no since in killing them down twice.
On the Concoction step, there can be 1 or 2 Irritated Eyes that spawn.

When I clicked the Concoction 2 Irritated Eyes spawned instead of the 1 the task suggests.
