This is a kill task that begins with Baffod the Wayward (map) in Zeixshi-Kar's Awakening at /location -4050, 40, 136 (outside the Ry'Gorr fort in the middle of the zone; southeast corner). Pre-Requisites: - Level 85 - No other pre-requisites You say, 'Hail, Baffod the Wayward' Baffod the Wayward says 'Ach! 'Tis good to see a fellow adventurer out here. What brings you to this [place]?' You say, 'What place?' Baffod the Wayward says 'Sadly, tis a wee bit changed since last I was out this way. Speaking of which, I don't suppose yeh've seen a group of adventurers roamin' about nearby? I'm tryin' ta [find] me allies.' You say, 'Find your allies?' Baffod the Wayward says 'Ach, nay. I dunnae need any [help] findin' me way back. I only lost track of 'em fer a moment, I tell yeh.' You say, 'I will help' Baffod the Wayward scratches his beard thoughtfully, 'Well, I'm sure I'll find me friends again in no time, but if yer lookin' ta be useful, I'm guess I'm a li'l low on [food]. And those blasted [giants] could kill a Dwarf, trapsin' aroun' like they own the bloody place!' You say, 'What about the giants?' Baffod the Wayward says 'Those blasted giants're everywhere, and dunnae seem to care who they step on. It'd be a right favor if yeh could help me by cutting some of the big lugs down ta size, if yeh get me drift.' You have been assigned the task 'Lost Without a Compass'. Did this task at level 88. As with many of the kill tasks in EW-Shard, you may not get an update with every kill. I'm convinced the frost giants that give updates are totally random. We killed 5 in a row, got no updates..killed 5 more and got 4 of 10 updates..then killed about 12 or 13 more after that and got an update every other kill to complete. A fairly easy task to do for arc. Not many more that will benefit me until I level up to 92+ lol. You can be grouped and get still get updates/ complete.
Can get the task at 92, don't know how much lower.
