This is a very tough achievement to complete.
I'm down to 4 mobs to kill. I was aware that two of the water mobs, The Kraken and The Giant Crab, are very rare and I was going to leave them for last. But I have killed the placeholders for Death Knight Sharris and Dark Mage Naxin at least 40x each and not seen the nameds. Getting frustrating. I think I'll move on to another zone for awhile and wait for a bonus spawn promo. I know nameds have to be kinda rare but for an achievement with this many mobs to kill, 40 PH kills should be enough. Yeah, I know all about the RNG and "luck of the die" but there are limits!

If you're going for the hunter achievement, cycle round the rare spawns and pick off the easier ones when opportunity shows.
The sea mobs; Kraken and Megaladon are uncommon, Giant Crab is very rare, so work out a cycle to visit the PHs.
On the docklands, Ocean Mage Rettun, Life Knight Jasul and Lieutenant Vasko seem to be the shy ones.
On the field, both Master Trainer Ganelin and Kanida are uncommon to rare.
The cluster in the Southwest building are relatively common and vary in abilities.
As a 105 solo mage, most of these kills were easy light-blues with large HP but nothing to worry about.
However, don't be complacent with Tactician Perak or Master Trainer Ganelin, they spawn adds when you pull. You have been warned.
Tidalmage Narens is relatively easy provided you're ready for him to warp to the gangplank.
Only the Sharks and Warbeasts can see invis, not even the nameds can!
I would suggest concentrating on the Crab and the sea spawns first.
Good luck, and enjoy your backpack and that boost in swimming skill!
