Anniversary Shared Task: Step on a Crack

Anniversary events tend to run from mid-March to mid-April (sometimes to mid-May) each year. They are not available during the "off season".
For an overview and list of EverQuest Anniversary events, see this quest entry. This is a shared task (1-6 players) introduced with EverQuest's 13th anniversary. It's expected to only be available during anniversary season (mid-March through mid-April). It begins with Sam Napth, a Halfling in the Plane of Knowledge at about -215, -90, -155 (next to the Soulbinder). You say, 'Hail, Sam Napth' Sam Napth says 'I've been expecting you. I have great need of adventurers to help me deal with an important issue. There are a lot of tasks that need doing, I'd be grateful if you could help me out. You see, I've been trying to prove to some important people that such things are foolishness. So I've arranged some tests to prove it.' A task window pops up offering several anniversary tasks. You have been assigned the task 'Step on a Crack'. Sam Napth wishes for you to enter Grobb and see if stepping on cracks will really injure troll's backs. Speak to Sam Napth 0/1 (Plane of Knowledge) You say, 'Hail, Sam Napth' Sam Napth says 'I overheard quite the strange myth just the other day. Supposedly, if you step on a crack, you can injure a troll's back. Sounds like nonsense to me, but I think you should go [check] it out.' NOTE: This locks the task. You say, 'I'll check it out' Sam Napth says 'When you are ready, I will [send] you to Grobb. I caused a bit of a distraction for the trolls, so Grobb should be pretty empty right now, save for a handful of trolls.' You say, 'Send me to Grobb' Sam Napth says 'Excellent. I await your return.' LOADING, PLEASE WAIT... You have entered Grobb. For each of the "Step on a crack" steps, you have to find a small NPC (has a name like any other mob) called "a crack". Step over this NPC to spawn the named. These may be found at their normal spawn locations (where they would be in the non-instanced Grobb), so the NPCs may already be labeled on your map: #1 - southeast part of the city (Shaman Guildmaster Urako), 10, -530 ,75 ("Basher Gork") #2 - westernmost part of the city (Berserker Guildmaster Daboo), 250, 65, 2 ("Basher Yabu") #3 - northeast part of the city (Shadow Knight Guildmaster Rohga), 685, -630, 5 ("Basher Uribao") #4 - center of the city (Warrior Guildmaster Ranjor), 265, -120, 13 ("Basher Borlik") #5 - southeast part of the city (Beastlord Guildmaster Gardunk), -10, -375, 75 ("Basher Zarka") #6 - southeast part of the city (Shaman Guildmaster Bregna), -35, -390, 75 ("Basher Gorf") #7 - "Torrg Elfsmasher" (spawns in the yard near the previous fights, +290, -460, 20) All trash in the zone sees invis (hit for ~7,500; stunnable; mezzable). The Bashers' difficulty are on par with the trash in the zone, as is Torrg. Step on a crack to injure Urako's back 0/1 (Grobb) Task Window Says: Step on the crack near Urako to injure her back. Urako says 'Why you step on crack? Ouch!' Basher Gork says 'I shall pluck you limb from limb!!' Defeat Basher Gork 0/1 (Grobb) Task Window Says: Basher Gork has appeared and does not look happy. Defeat Basher Gork. Basher Gork has been slain by _____! Basher Gork's corpse says 'Curse you!! Da bashers will have yer head.' Step on a crack to injure Daboo Dogak's back 0/1 (Grobb) Daboo Dogak says 'No step on crack!' Defeat Basher Yabu 0/1 (Grobb) Task Window Says: Basher Yabu has appeared and doesn't appreciate you hurting trolls' backs. Defeat him. Step on a crack to injure Rohga's back 0/1 (Grobb) Rohga says 'No step on crack!' Defeat Basher Uribao 0/1 (Grobb) Task Window Says: Basher Uribao has appeared and is trying to stop you from injuring any more trolls' backs. Defeat him. Step on a crack to injure Ranjor's back 0/1 (Grobb) Ranjor says 'You mean for stepping on crack!' Defeat Basher Borlik 0/1 (Grobb) Step on a crack to injure Gardunk's back 0/1 (Grobb) Gardunk says 'Oi! Me back!' Defeat Basher Zarka 0/1 (Grobb) Step on a crack to injure Bregna's back 0/1 (Grobb) Bregna says 'Oi! Me back!' Defeat Basher Gorf 0/1 (Grobb) Defeat Torrg Elfsmasher 0/1 (Grobb) Task Window Says: You have sufficiently angered the trolls enough that Torrg Elfsmasher has appeared. He must be defeated! Torrg Elfsmasher says 'I shall pluck you limb from limb!!' Torrg Elfsmasher has been slain by _____! Torrg Elfsmasher's corpse says 'Curse you!! Da bashers will have yer head.' Speak to Sam Napth 0/1 (Grobb) You say, 'Hail, Roonce' Roonce says, 'Sam sent me ahead of you in case you decide to chicken out, er um, i mean, in case you need to [go back] to the Plane of Knowledge for some reason.' You say, 'Hail, Sam Napth' Sam Napth says, 'I hear you caused some mayhem in Grobb. Good, good. Who would have thought that strange, old myth could have been true?' Once you defeat the last Troll, a portal appears in the yard and if you walk up to it, you'll be ported back to Sam in PoK, no need to make your way back to Roonce.

The mobs not only see invis, they also see through shroud of stealth. Plus they are not impress by my smokeshroud (rogue mez).

These "mobs" named "a crack" spawn one by one. Once you reach south east of Grobb, just to the left of Urako (Shaman Guildmaster marked on map ), you will see the first "a crack" (loc +10,-530,75). Step on it. "Basher Gork" spawns and have to be killed ( named are not stronger than trash mobs ).
The second mob named "a crack" spawns at west of Grobb with Daboo Dobak (Berserker Guildmaster marked on map) who spawns too : loc +250,+63,+2. Step on it. "Basher Yabu" spawns. Kill him.
The third mob named "a crack" then spawns at north east of Grobb with Rohga (Shadow Knight Guildmaster marked on map) close to it. Loc : +683,-630,+5. Step on it. "Basher Uribao" spawns and have to be killed.
The fourth mob named "a crack" spawns after this with Warrior Guildmaster "Ranjor" in the center of zone, loc +267, -121,+13. Step on it. "Basher Borlik" spawns. Kill him.
The fifth mob named "a crack" spawns now, where Urako spawned, with "Gardunk" (Beastlord Guildmaster marked on map, close to it). Loc : -12,-372,75. Step on it. "Basher Zarka" spawns. Kill him too.
The sixteenth mob named "a crack" spawns with "Bregna" (Shaman Guildmaster marked on map) very close to the previous loc : new loc : -34,-388,75. Ste^on it. "Basher Gorf" spawns and have to be killed.
The last mob named "Torrg Elfsmasher" spawns in the yard near the previous fights, in south east, loc : +292,-460,+19. Kill him.
You just have to zone out by talking to Roonce (Sam's Lackey) at the zone in of this instanced version of Grobb. When talking to him :
"Sam sent me ahead of you in case you decide to chicken out, er um, i mean, in case you need to [go back] to the Plane of Knowledge for some reason."
On last step, when you speak to Sam Napth, he says :
"I hear you caused some mayhem in Grobb. Good, good. Who would have thought that strange, old myth could have been true ?".

Cracks are simply a name floating in the air near the floor... just run over it
They are always right there in close proximity to the assciated NPC

the zone is all domesticated bleeders and bashers .. db to 93. Hitting in the 7k range. All summon.
Easy single pulls, hate to even call them pulls since you can just walk up on each mob without fear of adds.
Each mob is a GM of some persuasion, should be on your maps.

I do not see anything named "a crack" anywhere near Urako.

I didn't see one either. Not sure why that is.
there is a small thing (has a name like mobs) "a crack" it is wher you step and then the named mob will spawn right there
