This task is the second in a series of four; a shared task that begins with Nulbar in Erillion, the City of Bronze. He's found inside the main building in the center (from the entrance, go into the left hall -- the second room on the left at about 65, 140, 1)

- 81 Skill Level in Alaran

You say, 'Hail, Nulbar'

Nulbar says, in Alaran, 'Yes, what is it? You have some documents for me to look over?'

You have been assigned the task 'A Spy Among Us'.

You have found some documents that just may hold a clue to the strange dreams the citizens of the City of Bronze have been having. Unfortunately, they are coded. Tyzen has sent you to a contact named Nulbar. Perhaps this Nulbar can decipher the documents.

You say, 'Hail, Nulbar'

Nulbar says, in Alaran, 'Where did you get these? These are classified. I should call the guards to haul you off to jail. That would mean a ton of paperwork though and I am already too busy. Get out of here before I change my mind.'

Speak with Tyzen 0/1 (Erillion)

Task Window Says: Nulbar refused to speak with you. Perhaps Tyzen can convince alis otherwise. Speak with Tyzen.

You say, 'Hail, Tyzen'

Tyzen says, in Alaran, 'So Nulbar refuses to cooperate, eh? Well I just happen to know a little secret that al has been keeping that could ruin alis political career. Why don't you go back and inform Nulbar of this.'

You say, 'Hail, Nulbar'

Nulbar says, in Alaran, ''Tyzen! That filthy oashim. Al wouldn't dare expose my indiscretion! On second thought, perhaps al would. Very well, I will try to decode the document for you.' Nulbar carefully unrolls the parchment and begins to read it. 'It's no good I am afraid. This appears to be a very high level document and has been written in a code only known to a few top officials. There still may be a way to [decode] it however.''

You say, 'How can you decode it?'

Nulbar says, in Alaran, 'Some of the bureaucrats in the city hall use magic eyepieces to decode very sensitive coded documents. If you were able to get such an eyepiece, I could most likely use it to read these documents.'

Obtain an Eyepiece from the Bureaucrats 0/1 (Erillion)

Bureaucrats can be found on the first floor of the government building.

You say, 'Hail, Nulbar'

Nulbar says, in Alaran, ''Very interesting. It appears that the government has planted a spy within Tyzen's little group. It does not mention who it is, but it appears the spy's mission is to get as much information about the rebellious group as possible and report the findings to a high ranking government official. It seems that Tyzen is not as smart as alis thinks!' Nulbar chuckles. 'Now begone. I have done as you have asked.''

Tyzen says, in Alaran, 'A spy amongst us? This is bad news. Who knows what information they may have already. We must [find this spy] immediately.'

Tyzen says, in Alaran, 'Our group is not large. It consists of [aleself], [Uyyina], [Caindi], [Verobi], [Srezen], and [Lijka]. Find their homes and search through their personal belongings. Time is of the essence.'

You say, 'Tell me about aleself'

Tyzen says, in Alaran, 'I founded the group, so I am obviously not the spy.'

You say, 'Tell me about Uyyina'

Tyzen says, in Alaran, 'Uyyina joined the group about a month ago. I doubt Uyyina could be the spy since alis was sent to prison. Why would the government imprison one of their own?'

You say, 'Tell me about Caindi'

Tyzen says, in Alaran, 'Caindi provides the muscle for the group. I think of alis as my bodyguard. I trust Caindi too much to believe al could be the spy.'

You say, 'Tell me about Verobi'

Tyzen says, in Alaran, 'Verobi is wise and old. I consider alis second of command in the group. I have known Verobi for many years. I would be shocked if alis turned out to be spying for the government.'

You say, 'Tell me about Srezen'

Tyzen says, in Alaran, 'Srezen is a healer and takes care of any wounds our members may sustain while on missions. Srezen is too nurturing and caring to be a spy in my opinion.'

You say, 'Tell me about Lijka'

Tyzen says, in Alaran, 'Lijka is the newest member of the group. Alis acquires any supplies the group may need and keeps track of stock. I suppose Lijka could be the spy, but I don't think alis is smart enough to be honest.'

Search Caindi's chest of belongings 0/1 (Erillion)

Task Window Says: Find Caindi's house, destroy their chest of belongings, and see if anything of interest can be found. Caindi's house is in the northeast, green section of the city.

Caindi's chest is found at about 790, -770, 1 (in the northeastern cluster of buildings).

Search Uyyina's chest of belongings 0/1 (Erillion)

Task Window Says: Unfortunately, you did not find anything in Caindi's belongings to indicate that they were the spy. Find Uyyina's house, destroy their chest of belongings, and see if anything of interest can be found. Uyyina's house is in the southwest, blue section of the city.

Uyyina's chest is at -700, 635, 1 (in the southwestern cluster of buildings).

Search Srezen's chest of belongings 0/1 (Erillion)

Task Window Says: Unfortunately, you did not find anything in Uyyina's belongings to indicate that they were the spy. Find Srezen's house, destroy their chest of belongings, and see if anything of interest can be found. Srezen's house is near the center of the city.

Srezen's chest is in a building due east of the jail (-110, -330, 1).

Search Lijka's chest of belongings 0/1 (Erillion)

Task Window Says: Unfortunately, you did not find anything in Srezen's belongings to indicate that they were the spy. Find Lijka's house, destroy their chest of belongings, and see if anything of interest can be found. Lijka's house is in the southern, purple section of the city.

Lijka's chest is found in the south-central cluster of buildings (-645, 125, 1).

Search Verobi's chest of belongings 0/1 (Erillion)

Task Window Says: Unfortunately, you did not find anything in Lijka's belongings to indicate that they were the spy. Find Verobi's house, destroy their chest of belongings, and see if anything of interest can be found. Verobi's house is in the eastern, purple section of the city.

Verobi's chest is found in one of the buildings in the east-central part of the zone (directly outside the zone-in to Sepulcher at about 130, -1000, 1).

NOTE: Be prepared for a fight once you open this chest.

Tyzen says, in Alaran, ''No, this can't be true! I trusted Verobi with my life!' Tyzen opens the letter. 'Verobi was working with the government to spy on us in exchange for a large sum of gold. Our group has been exposed. It won't be long until we are all arrested once the guards find Verobi's body. It is time we go on the [offensive].''

You say, 'How do we go about the offensive?'

Tyzen says, in Alaran, 'Seek Caindi and inform alis that the group has been exposed. We will need some muscle if we are to defend ourselves from the guards. If Caindi is not home, alis can most likely be found near one of the fountains in town.'
