This is a pre-launch task leading up to the Veil of Alaris expansion, expected to be available only for a certain period of time ahead of VOA's launch. It begins with a gnome named Chief Wood Engineer Gilanspring in the Steamfont Mountains. He's found in the far southeastern part of the Steamfont Mountains. You say, 'Hail, Chief Wood Engineer Gilanspring' Chief Wood Engineer Gilanspring says 'Hrmf. I'm a busy gnome. We've got a massive [project] under way here, and I really don't have time to spare.' You say, 'What project?' Chief Wood Engineer Gilanspring says 'You don't know about it? Well I don't have time to go into details. You should talk to Olim, he likes to chat. Then again, if you have that much spare time, maybe you could use it productively by [helping] out around here.' You say, 'Helping, how?' Chief Wood Engineer Gilanspring says 'We can always use hands doing the non-skilled stuff. I think you'll be useful doing some of those [tasks].' You say, 'What tasks?' Chief Wood Engineer Gilanspring says 'Nothing too difficult for you, I hope.' A task window pops up with three different tasks to choose from. You have been assigned the task 'Scaffolding - Wide Planks'. To move the project along, the engineers need to build scaffolding to allow the workers to reach it. And this time they need good planks to build with. Fontpines aren't strong enough to make scaffolding. Go talk to someone from the Wayfarers Brotherhood and see if they can spare some good planking. Speak with a Wayfarers Brotherhood supplier 0/1 (Nedaria's Landing) An NPC called "a Wayfarers Brotherhood supplier" spawns around the south part of the dock area of Nedaria's Landing (approximate area of 250, 1450). You say, 'Hail, a Wayfarers Brotherhood supplier' a Wayfarers Brotherhood supplier says 'Hello there. You say that you are looking for some sturdy, wide planks? We can provide those. Kill some sunflowers and gather the odd fruit called Scarlet Lemon 0/5 (Scarlet Desert) Mobs called "a sunflower" are found mostly in the dried riverbed area. This step will update as you kill them (no actual items involved). NOTE: Only the person who gets the kill receives credit for it (whether grouped, or not). Deliver 5 Tomato to a Wayfarers Brotherhood supplier 0/5 (Nedaria's Landing) A Tomato can be purchased from Klen Ironstove in the Plane of Knowledge (CTRL+F, findable; location -70, 240). Deliver 3 Flask of Orange Juice to a Wayfarers Brotherhood supplier 0/3 (Nedaria's Landing) Flask of Orange Juice is produced with brewing (Trivial 35): 1x Water Flask + 2x Emerald Orange (makes 5x "Flask of Orange Juice"). NOTE: Emerald Oranges are foraged in the Emerald Jungle. Upon doing the hand-ins, you receive 2x "Wide Jaggedpine Plank". In a group -- and possible a raid -- proximity is not an issue (zone wide) and updates appear random per player with as many as two updates per kill.

I lost the Dialogue from speaking to 'a Wayfarers Brotherhood Supplier' initially, and she says nothing when you give her the tomatoes and flasks of orange juice, just gives you the Wide Jaggedpine Planks on your cursor.
Neither is there a closing dialogue when you deliver the planks.

I'd recommend getting your oranges foraged before you bother requesting the task and going to Scarlet Desert, since it might just take you longer than the 6 hour task timer to end up foraging two of them, especially with 50 skill.
Actually bud, would need 6 total as the flask of orange juice combine requires 2 and you have to turn in a total of 3 flasks. Needless to say, a horrible implementation of a quest for those with only 50 forage skill and no alt/box that has higher than that.
Clearly you're posting without actually doing the quest, bud. Lol.

2 Emerald Orange + 1 Water Flask = 5 a Flask of Orange Juice.
Therefore you only need 2 Emerald oranges.

I found this to not be true. My boxed druid frequently got credit for my kills while collecting the scarlet lemons. It was not every time but it was most of the time.
