    This is a group progression mission (3-6 players) that begins with Braelin Arden in Morell's Castle (due north of the zone-in, up the stairs on either side of the marionette room).

    You must have completed all six partisan tasks for Morell's Castle to being able to request this one:
    - Gouzah Safari
    - A Few Buckets of Sand
    - Pirate's Blues
    - Satyrical Riddles
    - Suspiciously Sweet Treats
    - The Staff Retreat

    You say, 'Hail, Braelin Arden'

    Braelin Arden says 'You have to help me! [They] will not live much longer if you do not help.'

    You say, 'Who is they?'

    Braelin Arden says 'My friends! That [girl], but not really a girl, took them!'

    You say, 'What girl?'

    Braelin Arden says 'An evil thing she is! There is no communicating with her, no clear logic in which she [speaks]. She does things with no rhyme or reason!'

    You say, 'Speaks?'

    Braelin Arden says 'Imagine giving more power than you can think of, to a child! You would then know what insanity is... You would then know the whims of a [demon]!'

    You say, 'A demon?'

    Braelin Arden says 'Will you [help] then?'

    You say, 'I'll help'

    Braelin Arden says 'I thank you, as no doubt my friends will when you free them. Let me know when you are [ready] so that I may send you to that wretched girl's location.'

    You have been assigned the task 'Hippity Hoppity Kill'.

    Braelin Arden asks you to help him retrieve his friends who have been taken by the demon Alyss. She will not release them until she has the bunnies she so desperately wants!



    Talk to Alyss 0/1 (Morell's Castle)

    A Bellikos named Alyss is found in the southwest corner of the forest.

    You say, 'Hail, Alyss'

    Alyss says '[Hello]!'

    You say, 'Hello...'

    Alyss says 'Are you here to [play] with me?! It has been a very long time since I had someone to play with.'

    You say, 'I'm not here to play'

    Alyss says 'I don't think I like you. You're not going to play with me! Just like the [others]!'

    You say, 'Others?'

    Alyss says 'You don't need to know what happened to them. If they won't play with me, then they cannot play with anyone! That's only [fair]!'

    You say, 'Fair?'

    Alyss says 'Oh, so now you want to be nice. Okay, I'll tell you what. Bring me some of soft and fluffy fur of those candied [bunnies] and I'll let your friends come out and play. I do not like those nasty rabid rabbit things though. So kill them so that they do not infect the others.'

    You say, 'What bunnies?'

    Alyss says 'I would get them myself, but that evil witch, Haezra, is too [scary]! She'll cook me in her oven and eat me if I set foot over there!'

    You say, 'Scary?'

    Alyss says 'It doesn't matter what I am! And don't make fun of me! Now, bring me those little bunnies!'

    Nearby, you'll see "an unknown entity" (you don't actually have to talk to it, but if you do...):

    You say, 'Hail, an unknown entity'

    an unknown entity says 'Ti si a eil! Od ton tsurt reh!'

    an unknown entity says 'Uoy era gnillaf otni a part!'

    (Translation: "It is a lie! Do not trust her!"; "You are falling into a trap!")

    Retrieve 4 candied bunny furs 0/4 (Morell's Castle)

    Kill those foul rabid rabbits 0/10 (Morell's Castle)

    You'll find rabid rabbits and candied bunnies in the candyland area a short distance away.

    NOTE: You'll have a banshee called "Haezra" spawn when you loot a Candied Bunny Fur. She'll keep spawning in this manner until you kill her while the next step in the task is open to you (at which point she'll stop appearing).

    Defeat the Haezra 0/1 (Morell's Castle)

    The Haezra spawn is triggered by the looting of a candied bunny fur. She hits for a max ~8,500.

    Deliver 4 candied bunny furs to Alyss 0/4 (Morell's Castle)

    Alyss says 'Oooooo! Look how soft! Gimme, gimme, [gimme]!'

    You say, 'Gimme'

    Alyss says 'What [people]?'

    You say, 'People?'

    Alyss says 'I don't think I wanna play with you anymore!'

    She attacks as "Playful Alyss".

    Defeat Playful Alyss 0/1 (Morell's Castle)

    At 50%, she goes inactive and says:

    Playful Alyss says 'Hahahaha! It doesn't matter what you do, you know. You will never find them, and I will have you to play with forever!'

    The four "Find..." steps open up. You'll find these NPCs at these locations (for your morellcastle.txt map file):

    Saena: 525, -435, 3 (the sand pile connected to the marionette room)

    WARNING: Four mephits spawn around each of these NPCs and attack right after you hail them. They each hit for a max ~9,000.

    You can avoid their aggro by doing the hails while invisible.

    Tergan Norwath says 'You've come for me? Thank you! I must get back! I must get back!'

    Nalder Rallin says 'I told them you'd come for me. I told them! '

    Kill Alyss' green imps 0/4 (Morell's Castle)

    Find Thaelin Mhorna 0/1 (Morell's Castle)

    You say, 'Hail, Thaelin Mhorna'

    Thaelin Mhorna says 'It's about time! I didn't think I could wait anymore! I... Uh... I guess I'll head back home now. Thanks.'

    Kill Alyss' red imps 0/4 (Morell's Castle)

    Find Saena Kinde 0/1 (Morell's Castle)

    You say, 'Hail, Saena Kinde'

    Saena Kinde says 'Braelin sent you, did he? I guess I should be grateful that he sent someone so... capable. I'll have to thank him when I get back. Bye now.'

    Kill Alyss' orange imps 0/4 (Morell's Castle)

    Speak to Alyss 0/1 (Morell's Castle)

    WARNING: Speaking to Alyss here will turn her into "Creepy Alyss". Also, the four NPCs around her turn into demons and attack along with her. They all summon at 100% health.

    You say, 'Hail, Alyss'

    Alyss says 'I'll have to thank Braelin! You're the best one yet! Most, so-called adventurers, don't last nearly as long as you have. But, it is time to go now. Let's wish our good friend here a happy goodbye!'

    Defeat Creepy Alyss 0/1 (Morell's Castle)

    Creepy Alyss hits for a max ~12,500 and has a lot of hitpoints. The demons each hit for a max ~8,000. You don't have to kill the demons, however they do not despawn.

    After defeating Alyss, the unknown entity turns into "Piper Nasscul". The task locks.

    Speak to Piper Nasscul 0/1 (Morell's Castle)

    You say, 'Hail, Piper Nasscul'

    Piper Nasscul says 'I tried to warn you! Her power kept me from communicatiing more clearly to you earlier. Here's a chest of things she brought with. You're welcome to anything you find inside. I will help you get out of here. Just let me know when you'd like to go [back].'

    Collect your reward from Alyss' chest 0/1 (Morell's Castle)

    You have defeated Alyss and put an end to her games.

    I'm not sure if it's a fluke or not, but Haezra didn't spawn until after I had killed the first candied rabbit. I had killed several (4 or 5) rabid rabbits and nada. First candied rabbit that died, she spawned.

    Tergan is in the forest area, between the hoofed protectors and forest guardians
    Nalder is in the forest area, in the night terror area
    Thaelin is at the top of the flooded tunnel, before the door that leads to the water tunnels
    Saena is behind the huge pile of sand in the sandman room near the marionettes / zone in

    The imps that spawn after hailing Tergan / Nalder / Thaelin / Saena can be snared / mezzed / slowed.

    When you hail Creepy Alyss, Tergan, Nalder, Thaelin, and Saena, who are standing beside her, turn into imps. Killing Creepy Alyss is part of the quest; killing the imp spawns are not. However, like the previous imps, they can be snared / mezzed / slowed.

    Just did this task last night on my 100 cleric and none of the imps or Alyss at the end of the task summoned us at 100%. If they had, I would have died way more than I did. Smiley: tongue

    Its either been changed or it was in error, but i am doing this task right now and the "kill those foul rabbits" objective is 0/10 not 4

    THis task locks right after you hail the last kill "Alyss" I walked right up to them with a bard did AE mez and only the named came and it didn't summon me at all.

    The "blue" rabbits (spotted) have very few hps, so kill the 4 of them before looting anything.
    The spotted rabbits and the rabid rabbits don't assist each other, making pulls more simple.
    All of them are mezzable.

    When you hail any of the 4 npcs, he depops and the 4 imps pop.
    Be sure to be invisible while hailing.

    To get the achievement, you need to do the 4 hails in 10 seconds. This can be easilly made if groups splits so that the hails are made at the same time.

    Alyss doesn't hit too hard, but she has a lot of hps.

    If you plan on not killing the 4 imps with alyss, be aware that they can aggro while you're looting the chest.

    I pulled the red imps (the third set, from hailing Thaelin) through the fishtank to the maze ledge. After killing them, I figured since I was up that way, I'd just run my three toons through the maze and go through the whirlpool to the ship, then to the sandcastle, then back to the entrance.

    When my first toon stepped into the whirlpool, it gave me a zone not available message and booted me straight to the entrance. Cool, I thought, since i wouldn't have to run through the ship or sandcastle. So I ran the others into the whirlpool as well.

    Here's the goofy part. After all three toons popped back at the entrance, they couldn't see one another. Each toon showed the other two (and their mercs) still standing at the whirlpool. All three were still in the instance, though. I campfired out (my CF was right next to the quest NPC) and zoned back in, and all was fine after that. Camping would've worked too I suppose.

    Just something wonky to keep in mind. I'll probably just run back down the shellscale tunnel after killing the red imps from now on.

    I was able to pull her solo from her 4 demons with a no damage snare and she did not summon. I FD away her demons.

    From where I was pulling rabbits and bunnies to I ran into a problem. When I killed my first candied bunny and looted the fur, Haezra spawned. I was on top of the hill in the candy land area by the walls leading into candy land. She attacked and I killed her. I was worried she might not spawn again since I did not got an update for killing her and in fact you don't get that part of the quest to open until you have killed all the bunnies and rabbits and looted the fur you need. She will respawn if you kill her to early by killing a candied bunny and looting the fur. She did this for me 4 times, each time right after I looted the fur.

    Creepy Alyss summons at 100% and so do the 4 imp guards. AE monk mezzed them all and then pulled named back quickly through constant summoning around corner to where group was waiting. Don't have to kill imps.
