    This solo task is the second in a series of three that will grant you access to the different islands in Al'Kabor's Nightmare (as well as lead into the group progression mission for the zone).

    This task begins with Dagda Icefury who's located at the port-up to Everfrost.

    You say, 'Hail, Dagda Icefury'

    Dagda Icefury says haggardly, 'Things are bad. I won't deny that. But I won't stop fighting until I'm [dead]. I'll protect everyone until I draw my last breathe! You there. Are you here to lend a hand, or are you just [passing] through?

    You say, 'Dead?'

    Dagda Icefury says 'Well, I do not know how much longer we can hold out. Orcs and goblins are hunting my people to extinction. We have no food, and we can spare no hunters. Are you able to lend us [aid]?'

    You say, 'I'll aid you'

    Dagda Icefury says 'Then we might have a chance. Gather some meat from the mammoths that still roam the lands, and if you can, do what you can to stop the goblins and orcs. You can rest assured I will do my part from this end!'

    You have been assigned the task 'Wastelands of Everfrost'.

    The remaining barbarians on Everfrost are out of food, weakening their efforts to defend against the orcs and goblins that swarm the landscape. Dagda needs your help to gather some mammoth meat to feed her people, and drive off the snow orcs and ice goblins that threaten the barbarians.

    Hunt wooly mammoths and collect their meat 0/1 (Al'Kabor's Nightmare)

    "Mammoth Meat" is a common drop from mammoths.

    Give the mammoth meat to Dagda 0/1 (Al'Kabor's Nightmare)

    Drive off the snow orc warriors 0/3 (Al'Kabor's Nightmare)

    Drive off the ice goblin thieves 0/2 (Al'Kabor's Nightmare)

    Speak to Dagda 0/1 (Al'Kabor's Nightmare)

    You say, 'Hail, Dagda Icefury'

    Dagda Icefury says 'Excellent work, my friend. You've brought us enough food for awhile. And your heroism in defeating those orcs and goblins will not be forgotten. Could you spread the good news to my people? I'll wait here for your return.'

    Convince the barbarian refugees not to give up 0/1 (Al'Kabor's Nightmare)

    You can simply hail the refugee that stands nearby.

    You say, 'Hail, a barbarian refugee'

    a barbarian refugee says 'We've heard of what you've done for us! You have our thanks. We won't ever surrender. If we are to die, we will take the lot of them with us!'

    Speak to Dagda 0/1 (Al'Kabor's Nightmare)

    You say, 'Hail, Dagda Icefury'

    Dagda Icefury says 'You've given us the respite we needed, and you have our gratitude. We'll continue the fight here. The world may be shattered, but nothing shall shatter our spirit! I will die protecting my friends if need be. _____, I know you are needed elsewhere. I can arrange a guide to take you over the remains of this world and transport you to Faydark, if you so desire. We will be fine here.'

    You've given Dagda and her people the reprieve they need. Their struggles will no longer be in vain. You can now travel to the remains of Faydark.

    Your faction standing with Dream Delvers got better.

    This was probably the hardest of the three pre-quests for this zone, mainly because the mob levels are a little higher than elsewhere. That said, completed it with an 89/1400 Wiz + J5 tank merc and an 87/500 Mage + J5 cleric merc without too much trouble.

    Biggest problem was a lot of mobs wander. There seem to be two orcs that spawn and/or path near the port-up. We cleared those and pulled everything else to there. Just watch for skellies that SI.
