    This is a group progression mission (3-6 players) that begins with Rupkerr (click for map image) is found in the safe area in the north-central part of Feerrott, the Dream at approximate location 1175, 1340.

    You must have completed his three solo tasks prior to being able to request this task.

    You say, 'Hail, Rupkerr'

    Rupkerr says 'What the Tae Ew have done to the expedition force is unforgivable. It is time their empire of fear came to an end. Will you be the [instrument of their destruction]? I could also use your assistance to [help] locate the missing expedition, [investigate] rumors, recover the missing journal [pages], or collect ingredients if you're [willing].'

    You say, 'I'll be the instrument of their destruction...'

    Rupkerr says 'Very well. Please let me know when you are ready to [depart].'

    You say, 'Ready to depart!'

    After putting to rest the members of the froglok expiditionary force, Rupkerr wants you to destroy the Tae Ew. Their rites of fear cannot be allowed to continue.

    In this instanced zone, you can expect trash mobs to hit for a max ~6,000. The Amygdalan Guardians and nameds hit for a max ~8,000.

    Defeat all the Tae Ew at the first pyramid 0/5 (The Feerrott)

    The above-mentioned Amygdalan Guardians spawn at the top of their pyramids once the last of the Tae Ews for that specific pyramid is killed. They don't auto-aggro, so you can rest in between pulls if needed.

    The remaining mobs (along with the rest of the named and guards in the task) spawn on the ramp to the temple. They have average aggro ranges and are not linked to each other (can be split).

    Looking at the damage numbers it seems this a tough event. I have an 88 Ranger with about 7k AAs and 38k HP (self buffed) this seems like I would do to some of these abilities pretty quickly. I was thinking of trying this with an 89 Monk, 86 Druid, said Ranger, with Mercs for Healing and additional DPS. Do you think this is possible?

    I think you can with that set up. Take your time and plan your pulls. Pretty much clear all the guys below the pyramids. The worst part of this is if it bugs out.

    Boxing my 3 chars, I have tried to do this twice today. The first time the 4th Amag Guardian did not spawn, then Temilotzin de-spawned right before he died and I have to start it over again. Very frustrating to have to redo the same mission over and over.

    I swear there is something wrong with this mission. The mobs needed to kill are always missing and I cant finish it. What the crap am I doing wrong?????????

    Having the same issue, just tried to run a box through this mission and it wouldn't spawn the second wave of lizards coming from the temple. Not sure if I DPS'd it too quick or if it's because I killed the namer before his adds. Going to try again and maybe slow the dps...
    What am I doing wrong???

    After typing /open with the Chest targeted, the Quest reward window appeared as noted above (PP, Faction, Dream MOtes, etc.). Once I selected the rewards and the quest window closed, I then right clicked on the Chest and there were additional items to loot (fragments, neck item, etc.).

    I finished this quest today in about 45 mins with 3 95 toons and 2 J5 mercs. I had no issues and it worked perfectly.

    It's not mentioned above but: the task locks when you kill the Terror Lord. You can no longer add players once he dies.

    I have done this task many times and started to do it faster each time. Completing the time trial with no deaths without too much trouble recently. Today i was doing this task faster then ever before. I got up to the point where it said Defeat Xiucozcatl the Feared's guards 0/2 (The Feerrott) as well as Xiucozcatl himself. They did not spawn though. I tried logging and then coming right back. I tried to leave instance and then go back to Rup and say depart to zone back in. Tried tracking with my druid just in case they popped some where else. No where on my druids track. Sitting in instance more then 15 minutes as i write this. Looks like im screwed. I had no problem doing this task yesterday or any other days. Maybe im just really unlucky. Has anyone else ever had this problem in this task or another maybe going through it too fast?

    This happened again today. Same exact spot and same step in the task. Got the experience from both kills. I don't understand why this happened. It even said Your task 'Fall of the Tae Ew' has been updated. When i was killing both guards from the previous step they died at almost the exact same time. My guess is there is suppose to be at least a 3 second delay between their deaths. I did only get 1 message saying task is updated from killing them both instead of 2 messages.

    I did this for the 2nd time and got full Exp. night before last patch. Then I did it a 3rd time with same group at same levels and got 1/3 the exp...

    even the trash mobs net 1/3 exp per kill...

    Did this mission tonight. Everything went just fine till we got to the Terror Lord. Had TL down to about 30% when my tank and him got summoned across the river to Bouncer Hurd. Hurd killed TL and my tank and we did not get credit for the kill so no chest and no reward. Task still said we needed to kill TL but he was gone already ... so we did the whole mission for nothing

    My 90 mage, somewhat of a lightweight with 450 AA's going in, earned 30 AA's in one hour doing this. Takes 30 kills to finish. With LotD running, he got 13 AA's doing the kills. Then was awarded 17 AA's for finishing the task.

    30 AA's in about an hour.

    Not sure anything in the game beats that!

    Dont have to harmonize the 2 guards. My ranger uses harmonize on one of the guards and uses flusterbolt on the other. Works very well.

    This is quite right. The key is to pull the boss right down the middle. The temptation for the puller is to start running back to the group but the boss will veer off this straight path and then aggro one or both of his guards.

    There are other ways to split these, they aren't linked all that strongly. Any FD class can run around and separate them sufficiently that a good puller can tag a single. But the harmonize method described here does the cleanest job.

    You do not have to be level 85 to do this group mission. Our average level was 86.5 and the lowest member was level 81. So it may require an average level of 85, but you do not have to be 85+ to participate.

    I tried snare too... kind of worked on one, sorta.. somehow on the first guy, i got him single attacking the group, one pathed back up the ramp and the other moved to pyramid number 2 and just chilled. Obviously was a bug. Even if snared, they move at Mach 5. I tried pulling with disease cloud and running them 18 miles away and they came as a tight team and pathed back as a tight team after that.

    i gave up on trying to split with the necro. Soe here's what I did for namers and he guards.

    Send pet on namer. Mez guard. Pet almost dead, or dead, mez other guard while it is getting killed. Taunt name with war. hit slow on namer. maybe needs tash - some did. Keep others mezzed while killing namer. You can blur and then recover, or you can just do 'em in sequence. I just did all 3 in sequence. Not like a necro pet adds a heck of alot of dps anyways.

    Someone said to just harmonize his gaurds and can pull him single.

    Temilotzin the Zealot supposedly casts fear. My necro is immune to fear. H never feared my wwar. Maybe I just got lucky.

    Last mob is a joke. In fact, they were all similiar to the regular mobs you fight to get to the namers. That last AOE sounds rough but we never went below half. Except for that one time the war went to 3 percent. But we won't talk about that. Terror lord was hitting my war for 2 - 3 k shots with final stand discipline running. Had to tash him to get slow to stick. That's about it.

    Separating the Guards from the Named

    I was not able to separate the two guards from the named on the ramp leading to CT. Yes, they can be snared, but even when I got it to land, they were able to path back to the ramp after I FD. Any suggestions on how to isolate and single pull the guards? I don't have an enchanter in my group, so mezzing is not an option even if they are mezzable.

    Finishing the mission at all is enough to check it off for the Progression and Mission achievements, It's Dangerous to Go Alone & Hero of the Feerrott. But once you know what to watch out for from the bad guys (for us it was some big magical dd/dots from the last two bosses) it's not that hard to repeat, so you might want to try for one or more of the bonus Conquest Achievements:

    Fall of the Tae Ew Time Trial: finish it in under 45 minutes

    Challenge of Toughness: nobody dies

    Guard Breaker: finish off the four Amygdalan guardians within 4 minutes -- it's not clear if that's from first death to last, or first aggro to last death

    My second time doing the mission we just left the guardians up and pulled around them to clear the other temples, then killed the guardians one at a time but quickly, and got the Guard Breaker achievement as well as the Toughness challenge.

    This task may be bugged i got to the part where we had to kill Temilotzin the Zealot and his guards, we kill named first then guards , got no update for Temilotzin but did get update fro guards and task was stuck at that point as named does not respawn in this event. Was pretty lame to have to redo task after getting that far in the task.

    I had the same thing happen today, running an alt through there, except I did kill the two guards first, and then the same name as here. No idea why it bugged, other than, the only char which had done damage was under the fear spell. I was still quite close to the name, but perhaps that's what caused it.

    So I was 3 boxing this task and came up to the last guy, Terror Lord. I pulled him, laid down the HT and at 85% me and him were "warped" or "summoned" to Bouncer Hurd who was on the other side of the river about 500 feet away. Bouncer Hurd then assisted me and tanked for me, essentially taking all the hits and hitting the TL, HARD. Terror Lord went down in less then 20 seconds as apparently Bouncer Hurd likes to hit for more then 4K. It wasn't until TL was dead and Hurd was walking away that I had realized what had happened.

    This is the first time I have done this mission and I am pretty sure this is not how it was supposed to happen. I got credit for the kill/task and looted a jumping Axe (yay me).

    I doubt this ever happens again but finally a bug that benefits me!
