Convorteum Event #4: The Keymaster

This is the fourth event in the Convorteum raid expedition.
This event takes place around the lava platforms. You can move up to Kertrasia's location as she is non-aggro until provoked. Summary - Fight Kertrasia to 75%. - Kill Borzaloth while keeping him positioned in the lava. Triggering the event You say, 'Hail, Kertrasia' Kertrasia says 'What do we have here? More intruders come to test their luck? You have made good progress thus far, but it ends here. The way forward is blocked and only I hold the [key].' You say, 'What key?' Kertrasia says 'Yes, this key here. Only I may possess it. If you want it you will need to defeat me and I find that highly [unlikely].' You say, 'Unlikely, you say?' Kertrasia says 'Yes, unlikely. You may of course try to get the key from me, but you will fail. What say you? Ready to [die]?' You say, 'YOU shall die!' Kertrasia says 'Let's get this over with then.' Kertrasia Kertrasia hits for a max ~17,000. She doesn't rampage or flurry and has no special attacks. Fight her to 75% at which point, she goes inactive and you see: Kertrasia shouts, "Enough of this! You are not getting the key! It is my charge to protect this key with my life! The key will be destroyed along with myself in the lava! Farewell, fools!" She wanders down into the lava. A huge greken appears and swallows Kertrasia, along with the key! It appears as if you will now need to deal with the greken should you want the key. You don't have to deal with Kertrasia any longer as a greken has gobbled her up. Borzaloth appears in the lava at the base of the ramp. Borzaloth Borzaloth hits for a max ~22,000. He doesn't rampage or flurry. He casts four AEs: Fearsome Roar: PB AE 50', Magic (-650) 1: Decrease INT by 99 2: Decrease ATK by 300 Force Smash: PB AE 100', Magic (-600) 1: Knockback (4) and Toss Up (4) 2: Decrease Hitpoints by 40000 Lava Splash: PB AE 150', Fire (-650) 1: Decrease Hitpoints by 35000 Shockwave: Single Target, Unresistable (0) 1: Stun (18.00 sec) 2: Decrease Hitpoints by 25000 The achievement for this event requires that you not allow him to leave the lava at all. To help with this, it's recommended you fight him at the deepest point in the lava (the area around the ramp and platform is much deeper than the rest of the room. Enchanter lurch spells can help keep him on the floor. If you push him above the surface, his attack range may get bugged for a time (you also lose the achievement if he so much as pokes his head above the surface). Borzaloth isn't leashed, so he can be moved right out of the lava. However, after a period of time outside the lava, he cools off, goes inactive, and returns to the lava (at which point you can attack him again). Usage of fire spells and fire weapon procs may cause him to heal while in the lava (this is not confirmed). While in the lava, he is very resistant to ice-based spells. Killing Borzaloth wins the event. Event Timer Kill Borzaloth within 40 minutes of his spawn, or he'll start hitting for ~45,000. Completion & Loot Borzaloth has been slain by _____! Borzaloth's corpse drools lava as it falls to the ground. A chest called "a burning chest" spawns after Borzaloth's death. Loot includes 2 armor pieces (first list) + 2 other items (second list) + 2 Twinkling Hyperfiligreed Runes + 2 Brilliantly /Brightly Pulsating Crystallized Cosgrove Shards + 1 Amulet of Brell (backflag) + 0-1 Crystallized Ball of Cosgrove Clay (cultural aug) + 0-1 bonus weapon: Rhodium Encrusted Brachial Clay Rhodium Encrusted Carpal Clay Rhodium Encrusted Cephalic Clay Rhodium Encrusted Crural Clay Rhodium Encrusted Phalangeal Clay Rhodium Encrusted Tarsal Clay Rhodium Encrusted Thoracic Clay (see this wiki article for armor use) Band of Encased Lava Bauble of Planar Influence Buckler of the Selfish Martyr Burning Ash of the Lake Elegant Lavaforged Gorget Gut Ripper of the Creation Heart of the First Lance Heart of the First War Axe Heated Grekenscale Cape Kertrasia's Promise Keymaster's Amice Lava-Melted Key Molting of the Lava Worm Tooth of the Smiling Bellikos Whisperwind, Kertrasia's Voice This chest also has a small chance to drop a weapon from another event. Achievement & Bonus Loot There is one achievement for this event: - Gatekeeper (defeat Borzaloth without letting it leave the lava) The first time you complete the achievements for this event, you receive 5 AAs as a reward. If you complete the event under the conditions of all its associated achievements, an additional chest ("a melted chest") spawns. Bonus chest loot includes 2 Brilliantly/Brightly Pulsating Crystallized Cosgrove Shards + 1 Twinkling Hyperfiligreed Rune + 1 weapon (listed below) + 0-1 Transforming Surprise of Borzaloth + 0-1 Crystallized Ball of Cosgrove Clay (cultural aug): Heart of the First Lance Heart of the Underfoot Hatchet Knife Knight's Heart of the Underfoot War Axe The Transforming Surprise of Borzaloth currently has no use (a quest or reward involving it has yet to be implemented). | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||

Are these bonus items or regular items?

Heart weapons are bonus chest items; I have only seen weapons in bonus chests so far. However we have seen 3 items in normal chests occasionally where the 3rd was a weapon during events we got AA achievements(not nec. bonus chest achiev.) and do not know why.
I haven't been through CV enough to be more informative than that.
