This solo task begins with Master Alchemist Vakros in Brell's Temple at location 445, -25, 21. Watch out for roaming see invis KOS mobs while speaking with him.
You can only request this task once you've completed Vakros's other three "Alchemical Advances" tasks.
You say, 'Hail, Master Alchemist Vakros'
Master Alchemist Vakros says 'I appreciate the effort you have gone though to obtain the ingredients I asked for thus far. Unfortunately though, I have still been unable to create an elixir to bring the Master to his senses. If you're [willing], I would like to get additional quantities of the same ingredients. However, I also need others which are more [exotic].'
You say, 'Something more exotic?'
Master Alchemist Vakros says 'While the ingredients you obtained are indeed powerful, they are not enough by themselves. I would need someone to travel to more distant locales in the underfoot and obtain the most powerful ingredients I can think of. Since you've proven yourself on my previous requests, I thought you might be the one to take on this [task].'

Master Alchemist Vakros says 'I knew I could count on you! Here's a list of everything I need. Be sure to look in the proper places or you will not find what I'm looking for. I know it's dangerous but we must do whatever we can to bring Brell to his senses. I hope you return safely.'

Various types of golems can be found in the Underquarry. Cliknar can be found in Arthicrex. Sporali can be found in Fungal Forest. Various crystalline entities can be found in Pellucid Grotto. Lava mephits can be found in Lichen Creep.
Kill golems to gather their mineralized earth 0/5 (The Underquarry)
Kill cliknar to gather their thoracic chitin 0/5 (Arthicrex)
Kill sporali to gather their spongy hymenium 0/5 (Fungal Forest)
Kill crystalline entities to gather their mnemonic crystals 0/5 (Pellucid Grotto)
Kill lava mephits to gather their spiral horns 0/5 (Lichen Creep)
The above five steps are straight kills. Any mob type in the given zones count towards kills (this may not include named).
You don't collect actual items.
Inform Vakros that you have gathered the samples 0/1 (Brell's Temple)
You say, 'Hail, Vakros'
Master Alchemist Vakros looks over the ingredients. 'These will do nicely. Give me a moment while I mix something up...Here we are! Take this and try giving to Brell.'
You receive A Marvelous Elixir.
Give the Marvelous Elixir to Brell Serilis 0/1 (Brell's Temple)
Upon hand-in:
Brell Serilis hesitates for only an instant as you give him the elixir, then continues on with his labors.

Master Alchemist Vakros says 'Damn! I thought that would work for sure. I'm getting close though and I'll keep trying until I get it right. I can always use more ingredients if you would like to get them for me.'
