I did all of the quest up to turning in the key to Tyokan at dubious. Tyokan gives the "your mere presence disgusts me" at dubious and apprehensive. At indifferent he gave me his spiel about the strong boxes, however would not take the key. A little more faction work to get to amiable and then he was happy to take the key. Rec'd Spell: Greater healing for my turn in.

Notes: I could get the blessed oil at dubious, Brother Hayle has moved out to South Karana NW of Splitpaw entrance. He has 4 gnoll guards, conned grey to level 36. Sorry for the necro, but any chance the quest description can be edited to reflect Brother Hayle's new location?
This part "so head over to Splitpaw Lair and find Brother Hayle in the jail there" is somewhat misleading, particularly when the mobs are level 66 and WILL kill anybody at level for this quest.

I can't seem to get started on this quest. I meet Brother Estle in WK, no problem, I go to Priestess Jahnda who refers me to Nomsoe Jusgata, no problem, I ask Nomsoe Jusgata for the blessed oil and he stands there staring at me. I tried asking him using the exact words Jahnda used. "Brother Estle needs the blessed oil", I have tried using lowercase instead of caps and I have rephrased and reworded the request every way I can think of and Nomsoe still stands there like he is brain dead. What are the exact words with any capitals or puctuations you all have been using??
Actually I just went to Nomsoe and said "I will deliver a flask" and that got it started for me.

quest. It results, provided you have the faction enough to do it, in a Shining Star of Light, a very nice cleric weapon for folks under 30 or where uber weapons and high levels don't exist. Flame away, but I love mine. Fear me, ghouls, for I have the power to unroot myself and melee!
Basically? That quest is for the guy in the little hut by the scarecrow field :) Always be sure to get your Prime Healer potion identified--I have had him aggro on me when it is an orange something potion.
The blessed oil quest is a GREAT way to get un kos with these guys without ruining really evil faction, as far as I have seen :) If you are KOS, bum a bit of time from a L 39 + druid friend of yours for Shared Wolf form.

As far as I know, one always gets the prayer bead quest from Brother Estle. Of course, I did it with an 11th level cleric who was a Priest of Life with good PriestofLife faction.

Firstly, you can give the oil to him when you are at dubious factions, so an easy quest to do to raise the factions. Faction hits are:
Priests of LIfe gets better
Knights of Thunder gets batter
Guards of Qeynos gets better
Bloodsabers gets worse
Antonius Bayle gets better

After giving him the oil, he tells me he has given me something to give to Jahnda. He tells me the dying words of a gnoll "free him" in regards to Brother Hayle. I did not see any item to give to Jahnda- i did it twice, the second time with a an open slot in my inventory (not just an open container slot). What am i missing?

He should give you prayer beads, which you take back to Jahnda in the Temple of Life. Jahnda will then tell you about Brother Hayle and give a Temple Summons to deliver to him. Brother hayle is a prisoner in Splitpaw.

Actually, Brother Estle needs the blessed oil to cure his illness; he has a way of turning in to a werewolf during night, I don't know if this is dependant on wether you give him his oil or not, but it seems logical that it is.

Why would you not just ask Nomsoe for the flask FIRST.. then go out to WK and talk to Brother Estle ... is that not possible?

When I told High Preistess Jhanda that Brother Estle needed his blessed oil, she said to go ask some other guy, can't remember his name tho, because SHE didn't hand out the blesses oil, the OTHER GUY did. =( I searched all over for him and he was not in Qeynos. Has this happened to anybody else? Arria

I dont understand why they say it takes so much time: 10 sec are enough. Anyway you can find some people who dont know the quest and pay well for this flask.
To get it you only need to ask the monk Nomroe (or sumthin like that) at the temple of life :"i Will deliver a flask of blessed oil". And thats it you got your flask: 10 sec

The reason they say it takes so long is because if you run to Western Karana, Talk to Brother Estle, Run back to Qeynos get the oil, and then return it to him, you are going to spend an hour in transit.

I talked to Brtoher Estle and then to Jahnda the Priestess but she didnt want to gimme anything and didnt talked to me. Actually Brother Estle had been killed and i think if he s not alive you cant do the quest...

When hailed Brother Estle tells you to remind High Priestess Jahnda that he is waiting for his blessed oil. I have yet to get the correct [trigger phase] for her to give it to me when asked.

If you say to Jahnda "Brother Estle needs his blessed oil" she will send you to Nomsoe Jusagta. Nomsoe is outside the flying saucer. Tell him "I will deliver a flask" and he will give you the blessed oil.
