This solo task is the fifth in a series of five that begins with Gihbra Artinguard in Volska's Husk. He is located at approximately -140, -165, -47. Be careful in this zone as there are no especially safe points, including the locations of task givers.

In order to request this task, you must first have completed "Into the Fire", "Uncover the Truth", "Autochthonous Support", and "The Arms of Brell".

You say, 'Hail, Gihbra Artinguard'

Gihbra Artinguard says 'Our plan to destabilize the husk is now fully in motion. Let us go [further].'

You say, 'Further?'

Gihbra Artinguard says 'Let's finish what we've started. Order in here is starting to break down, but we must still contend with one more leader. Interix Tanglefuze, by my estimation, is the chief Gnome in this husk. I'm sure if you [speak] with him you'll find a way to discredit him in the eyes of his followers.'

You say, 'I'll speak to him'

Gihbra Artinguard says 'Go with Brell's blessing, _____. Soon the Autarchians and the Bellikos will be crushed under Brell's fist, and his will shall reign once again in the Underfoot.'

You have been assigned the task 'Brell's Will Be Done'.

Interrogate Interix Tanglefuze 0/1 (Volska's Husk)

Task Window Says: Perhaps Interix Tanglefuze, leader of the Gnomes, has a weakness that can be exploited.

Interix is found in the main Autarchian den at approximately -1115, 250, -95. Keyword for update is "supplies".

You say, 'Hail, Interix Tanglefuze'

Interix Tanglefuze looks you up and down and laughs. 'You're some kind of enchanter, aren't you? No, by the looks of you I'd say it's not your own enchantment. We normally wouldn't be talking; my clockworks would have beaten in your silly _____ face by now. But it's as if I feel the presence of Brell himself -- some sort of powerful persuasion spell. You think you're clever? You think you would even begin to comprehend the things I could reveal? Go ahead and ask me [questions]. Trying to understand my answers will be like Sessiloids studying the charts and motions of stars.'

You say, 'I have questions for you...'

Interix Tanglefuze says 'Yes, of course I am in charge. I'm the smartest. I know how the chain of supplies works in the husk; I know the fastest way to build the strongest clockworks; I know what everyone is doing and why they're doing it. I can see how everything fits together, from the bolts and gears in my clockworks, to the living cogs and widgets grinding away in these caverns. They think they're free, but someone else is always [turning] their crank.'

You say, 'Turning their crank?'

Interix Tanglefuze says 'The Bellikos aren't vacationing in the husk, admiring the sights of golems and Mephits and lava. There's only one reason why they're here: This is their labor camp. Don't you get it? The Sporali feed on the minerals in the hot springs; the Kobolds and the Gnolls bring us Sporali meat and serve as sentient -- or at least semi-sentient -- guards; the Dwarves mine the metals and minerals in the caverns; and the Gnomes craft war devices with those supplies. We're a Greken and clockwork factory here, building and growing the [weapons] with which to oppose Brell himself.'

You say, 'What weapons?'

Interix Tanglefuze says 'That's why I came here in the first place. Do you think a Gnome as smart as I would leave Kernagir for any other reason than crazy, wild, dangerous ambition? I want to build the most deadly clockworks I can, large or small -- it doesn't matter. Do you think Brell would allow me to build a clockwork that could raze the foundation of Kernagir in mere hours? Of course not! And you can only keep plans for such things secret for so long, so I [came] here.'

You say, 'Came here?'

Interix Tanglefuze says 'I didn't need to listen to any Bellikos silliness about choosing your own path or following your inner self. That sort of nonsense is for the cretins in these caverns or those dumb beasts that bumble about near the lava pits. Small minds never have large egos. And if you need to be told to [think] for yourself, you shouldn't.'

You say, 'Think for yourself?'

Interix Tanglefuze says 'Even before the explosion that sent me to the Underfoot, I lived according to my own will, and I never stopped doing so. I don't care what tricks Brell's First Creation uses to get people to follow him. I follow myself, and I can't be tricked. I get what I want: a place to experiment that is far from Brell's eyes. He gets what he wants: clockwork warriors. But I'm chafing under the current arrangement. I have [grander] plans!'

You say, 'What are these grander plans?'

Interix Tanglefuze says 'You think I want the Bellikos telling me what to do? I outsmart them every time, but I can't stand their arrogance. A suggestion here and there: modify this, fix that, and on and on -- I've had enough! I have plans for new clockworks that will put fear into Brell and his First Creation! When I'm done with construction, I'll drive the Bellikos from this husk. This will be my lab, my factory. From here I will create the ultimate clockworks of destruction and strike out at both Brell and his First! All I need now are the proper [supplies] to build them...'

You say, 'Supplies?'

Interix Tanglefuze laughs at you again. 'I know you work for Brell. You're his good little puppet, dancing about whenever he pulls the strings. You're just the sort of _____ the Bellikos' words were meant for. Ha! You want to kill the Bellikos, and so do I, but you don't trust me. Well, I don't care. You need me; I need you. And I don't think you're smart enough to double-cross me. I know by your persuasion spell that you have contacts in Kernagir. I need some parts from there to build my clockworks. Here is a list: Mithril Ore, Golden Cogs, Silver Wires, and Voltage Regulators. Go talk to your handler and see what you can arrange. If you get me the parts, I'll help you get rid of the Bellikos.'

Your task 'Brell's Will Be Done' has been updated.

Speak with Gihbra Artinguard 0/1 (Volska's Husk)

Task Window Says: It appears that Interix wants the Bellikos out of the husk too, if only for his own nefarious purposes. Perhaps Gihbra will have an idea of how to use this to your advantage.

You say, 'Hail, Gihbra Artinguard'

Gihbra Artinguard says 'I was wrong about Tanglefuze, but I don't trust him in the least. We can't just hand him all the supplies he requires and expect him not to pose a threat to us. You can find everything you need in the Shining City, but your first stop when you get there should be Percy Scrapfisher. He's in a building in the southwest of the city, near the gates. He deals with all the junk parts that the Gnomes throw out when they're done building their contraptions. If there's one thing he knows, it's where to find components for clockworks -- especially [faulty] ones.'

You say, 'Faulty ones?'

Gihbra Artinguard says 'Let's give Tanglefuze what he wants. His plans, along with the chaos we've already caused, should be enough to require Bellikos reinforcements. If we give him a few sub-par components, though, his clockworks shouldn't last long enough to cause any real problems for us. Besides, we can deal with Tanglefuze after the Bellikos have been taken care of.'

Speak with Percy Scrapfisher 0/1 (Kernagir, the Shining City)

Percy is found at approximately (5, 475, -50) in Kernagir.

Task Window Says: To find scrap for Tanglefuze's clockworks, Gihbra said you should look for Percy Scrapfisher, who is near the southeast gates of Kernagir.

You say, 'Hail, Percy Scrapfisher'

Percy Scrapfisher says 'Greetings, _____. It's a perfect day for sifting through junk piles, isn't it? That's why you're talking to me, right? Well, if you're looking for scrap or [junk], you've found the right Gnome!'

You say, 'I'm looking for some junk'

Percy Scrapfisher says 'Hmm...that sounds like some high-end scrap you're after. I think I saw a pile of Mithril Ore in the building west of here. You should check the building with lava tubes for a bag of Golden Cogs. Silver Wires? I think they're in a building to the northeast. And you want what? Faulty Voltage Regulators? Actually, I was carrying some of those when I stopped off at the bar last night. When I woke up today, I didn't have them anymore. I also didn't have my pants. What do you want all this for, if you don't [mind] my asking?'

You say, 'I do mind'

Percy Scrapfisher says 'Okay, sorry! Just curious!'

Task Window Says: Percy says that while in Kernagir you should find all the scrap you need - a Pile of Mithril Ore in a building west of Percy, a Bag of Golden Cogs in a building with lava tubes, a Bag of Silver Wires in a building to the northeast, and Faulty Voltage Regulators near a bar.

Deliver 1 Pile of Mithril Ore to Interix Tanglefuze 0/1 (Volska's Husk)

Ground spawn at 123, 740, 53 in Kernagir.

Deliver 1 Bag of Golden Cogs to Interix Tanglefuze 0/1 (Volska's Husk)

Ground spawn at 1036, 592, 135 in Kernagir (bottom floor).

Deliver 1 Bag of Silver Wires to Interix Tanglefuze 0/1 (Volska's Husk)

Ground spawn at 855, 123, 167 in Kernagir.

Deliver 1 Bag of Faulty Voltage Regulators to Interix 0/1 (Volska's Husk)

Ground spawn at 119, 979, 219 in Kernagir.

Speak with Gihbra Artinguard 0/1 (Volska's Husk)

You say, 'Hail, Gihbra Artinguard'

Gihbra Artinguard says 'Brell's will is about to be done. You've already disrupted the Bellikos' plans for the Sporali, Mephits, Gnolls, and Dwarves. Now Tanglefuze will spring the trap we have laid. I'm sure at any moment more Bellikos will arrive to quell the unrest and put a stop to Tanglefuze's plan. Hurry: before they do, use Tanglefuze's clockworks to kill the remaining Bellikos overseers in the husk. Go see if Tanglefuze has finished his work. The time is at hand...'

Speak with Interix Tanglefuze 0/1 (Volska's Husk)

Task Window Says: Interix should be done with the clockworks by now.

You say, 'Hail, Interix Tanglefuze'

Interix Tanglefuze says 'Yes, I know what's happening. Reinforcements will be here soon. Take these clockworks and kill the overseers.'

You'll get two mobs to assist you, each called "Mithril Clockwork" which you can take with you to complete the next kill steps. You don't have to use them, but they'll make quick work of the bellikos mobs. If you do use them, you don't even have to aggro the bellikos. The clockworks will do all the work.

The clockworks despawn if you die, zone, or take longer 20 minutes. If this happens, you can hail Interix again for another pair of clockwork helpers by hailing Interix again:

You say, 'Hail, Interix Tanglefuze'

Interix Tanglefuze says 'You need reinforcements? Take these!'

Kill 5 Bellikos overseers 0/5 (Volska's Husk)

Task Window Says: Now is the time to strike at the Bellikos. Interix has given you powerful clockworks to deal with the overseers.

Any five bellikos count towards this step, including wardens and lecturers.

Hail Interix Tanglefuze 0/1 (Volska's Husk)

Task Window Says: The Bellikos have been eliminated, for now. See what Interix wants to do with his clockworks.

You say, 'Hail, Interix Tanglefuze'

Interix Tanglefuze says 'You thought you were going to double-cross me? I told you you couldn't! I knew you gave me faulty voltage regulators, and I repaired them. Do you think I am that easily fooled? This is my cavern now. Go and deal with any Bellikos reinforcements if you must. I'll keep my clockworks with me. If the Bellikos enter here, I'll deal with them. If they manage to destroy the clockworks, I'll only create more. I cannot be stopped. Now hurry back to your master, like the good [lapdog] you are.'

You say, 'Lapdog?!'

Interix Tanglefuze laughs. 'Knowing the truth only makes life harder to bear, doesn't it, _____?'

This step triggers the spawns of three Bellikos at the cave entrance, one of which is a named. They are not linked, but will assist each other. The Autarchian mobs in the area will also assist them.

Speak with the Bellikos arbiter, Bryxyx Kyzox 0/1 (Volska's Husk)

Task Window Says: The plan has worked. A Bellikos arbiter, Bryxyx Kyzox has arrived to put down the unrest in the husk and eliminate any unwanted intruders.

You say, 'Hail, Bryyxyx Kyzox'

Bryxyx Kyzox says, 'Are you happy? Has Brell told you to do this, or are you acting of your own accord? If you have chosen this path without any [prodding], I praise you. It takes great courage to defy someone as powerful as the First and kill his beloved creations. Please continue as you wish; for I will welcome you to carry out your will as far as you are able.'

You say, 'Prodding?'

Bryxyx Kyzox says, 'But if Brell's will has overpowered your own, desist from this course. Is it really your desire to see your life spilled into lava pools over the arbitrary commands of a distant god? Whose [interest] does Brell hold in mind, yours or his?'

You say, 'Interest?'

Bryxyx Kyzox says 'If you desire, live here in the husk. Do whatever pleases you: work or do not work. And if we anger you, attempt to strike us down. You are only as [free] as you allow yourself to be.'

You say, 'Free?'

Bryxyx Kyzox says 'Anything as complex as a grouping of free creatures will fall into balance. It is the way of things. From what Brell would call chaos arises order. Dwarves mine, Gnolls hunt, and Gnomes create. It is only natural. Order without [imposition].'

You say, 'Imposition?'

Bryxyx Kyzox says 'You would return all these creatures to subjugation? You are confused, as you are under subjugation yourself. Consider my words. Put Brell's will aside; he will carry it out on his own. As I said before, if you, of your own accord, still wish to overpower me, I welcome you to try. Struggle and contention will decide whose will is greater, as it should be.'

You say, 'Hail, Bryyxyx Kyzox'

Bryxyx Kyzox says, 'It is a shame our wills could not coexist.'

You say, 'Hail, Bryyxyx Kyzox'

Bryxyx Kyzox says, 'I welcome your expression of will _____, Now I shall show you mine.'

NOTE: If you take too long and Bryxyx despawns, you can hail Interix again to respawn her:

You say, 'Hail, Interix Tanglefuze'

Interix Tanglefuze says 'I think those arbiters are still out there. Take care of them!'

You will have to go through Bryxyx's dialogue again to make her aggro.

Defeat Bryxyx Kyzox 0/1 (Volska's Husk)

Task Window Says: Bryxyx is unwilling to allow you to continue your plan of sabotage.

The two adds with her are mezzable and stunnable, but Bryxyx is not. The fight is pretty straight forward.

Return to Gihbra Artinguard 0/1 (Volska's Husk)

Task Window Says: You have driven back the Bellikos and depleted their numbers. Gihbra will want to hear of this.

You say, 'Hail, Gihbra Artinguard'

Your task 'Brell's Will Be Done' has been updated.

You have disturbed the balance in the husk and killed a powerful Bellikos Arbiter. Brell's First will be on the defensive.

Gihbra Artinguard says 'We've done it, _____! This is surely a blow to the Bellikos! It will take them a while to clean up the mess we've caused here. Brell's [will] has surely been done. Without him it would not have been possible.'

You say, 'Brell's will has been done?'

Gihbra Artinguard says 'Do not listen to the lies of the Bellikos, _____. You've seen the chaos they have caused. Without the word of Brell, the creatures of the Underfoot do not know what to do with themselves. Everything devolves into chaos. Once the Autarchians and Bellikos have been dealt with, the rule of Brell will be exerted once again over everything in the Underfoot, as it should be.'

Bryxyx Kyzox will not speak with me. Perhaps I because I am scowling to attack with the Underfoot Autarchs faction.

At 1 point per kill, it is a pain to get the faction out of scowling just to test if she will talk with me at Threatening.

The mithril ore looks like a white crystal in a box of scrap, and the other 3 are large bags on the ground. If you have good maps, they should be already marked.

Interesting bugs...
Tried to get all clockworks for the whole group. That didn't worked. Only get two clockworks even if the whole group has the task update.
At the last part I had still the clockworks but you get no task update if they kill the bellikos. So you need to get rid of them if you kill the last three Bellikos mobs or do don't get updates. Had to respawn and kill them a third time to get the updates going.
If you kill a bellikos named and the clockworks have more firepower you don't get any drops. They simply disappear. So if you want to get the drops, don't let the clockworks get the kill!
I assume that XP is also nothing you get for kills by the clockworks - a nice idea if you don't get rid of them - get them xp kills - but does not work :(

The Pile of Mithril Ore can be difficult to see. The /loc is correct but the icon is not a pile or a bag / box -- the icon is a very bright white crystal sitting in a cart full of scrap in the center of the room.

Any Bellikos counts for the kills (inlcuding the warden and lecturer).

The helpers you get are called a mithril clockwork.

They follow you about (but they walk... so they are slow) and will auto aggro any bellikos. They will stay up until you die, zone or for about a spawn cycle (20-ish minutes).

You can kill bellikos without the helpers and still get credit, but the robots kill them FAST and easy.

for the step Kill 5 Bellikos overseers 0/5 (Volska's Husk) you can kill any of the 3 bellikos in the zone. It does not spawn any mobs or bellikos so you have to kill the 3 in zone, and wait for respawns. Beware as the lecturer one sees invis, so just edge up to it until the clockworks aggro it. One (I forget) also uses an AE. Only one person can get credit at a time or summon the clockworks. Just stand near them invis until they aggro and they will kill. When getting the clockworks if you spam hail you can get multiple sets, while not necessary makes it amusing to have 4 of them follow you and beat the crap out of the bellikos.

When you Speak with Interix Tanglefuze 0/1 (Volska's Husk), he summons two level 85 "Mithril Clockwork" to assist you. When you get near any bellikos overseer (the next step), the Mithril Clockworks will automatically attack, you not only do not HAVE to do anything (including clearing), it is actually easier to do nothing: if you get too close to the bellikos when they are being killed by your Mithril Clockworks, the surrounding mobs will attack you (and the Mithril Clockworks will not help you on anything other than bellikos).

If you happen to die in the middle of this step, the Mithril Clockworks despawn. If they despawn either due to your death, or they somehow die to a bellikos . . . you can redo Speak with Interix Tanglefuze 0/1 (Volska's Husk) and he will summon two more Mithril Clockworks to your side without any progress in the task lost.

When you Hail Interix Tanglefuze 0/1 (Volska's Husk) after the five bellikos have all been dispatched, the three new bellikos will spawn outside the cave; they are not linked, but they do assist each other, and the dwarves/gnomes near them will assist as well. Important note: if you are dead when the named bellikos dies (therefore not updating your task) - simply wait a few minutes and the non-named bellikoses will depop. When all three are gone, you can redo Hail Interix Tanglefuze 0/1 (Volska's Husk). The only progress you lose if you have to hail a second time, is that you will have to redo Speak with the Bellikos arbiter, Bryxyx Kyzox 0/1 (Volska's Husk).
