This group mission begins with Grogald Elderhammer in Arthicrex (location: -1685, 425, 197 -- just inside the zone-in area). In order to request this mission, you must have completed Mardan Howlinblade's tasks.
You say, 'Hail, Grogald Elderhammer' Grogald Elderhammer says 'Looks like I've found the right person, you're standing still long enough to listen to an exasperated [dwarf].' You say, 'I'll listen to a dwarf' Grogald Elderhammer says 'Of course I'm late arriving to Arthicrex, and found the cliknar completely out of control. Bad enough the various races are choosing sides in the confusion happening since Brell's presence vanished, but these cliknar intend to destroy everyone else but themselves. It's a [mutiny] against their creator! A severe penalty must surely be imposed upon them by the gods!' You say, 'Mutiny?' Grogald Elderhammer says 'The cliknar hive is apparently doing its own thinking now. I've had to fall back to this corner and hide from their patrols after losing three of my most stalwart cousins. The cliknar patrol regularly through here since they helped build the Temple of Self over there. Some odd creature, sheathed in dark cloth, also comes through here every once in a while. He supposedly lives across the gorge in that strange house. The cliknar don't bother the Temple's followers, yet. There seems to be an uneasy truce in place. The hive doesn't need to antagonize the Temple's people and risk unifying the rest of Brell's creatures against them. There is some word that the cliknar are up to some rather disturbing activities of [late], including raising sporali as livestock.' You say, 'What activities of late?' Grogald Elderhammer says 'From what little I can glean from the tales of Grazden Sporefoot, the cliknar are interested in the Clay of Cosgrove for some reason. They are harvesting sporali, not just for their flesh, but also for spores and compounds that they think will be useful in transforming the Clay of Cosgrove into the stuff they want. Needless to say, using other creatures in this way is abhorrent. It almost goes without saying that we don't wish to see the results of the cliknar [project]!' You say, 'A project?' Grogald Elderhammer says 'Here's how you can help me. Gather a force of your best fighters and go and see how you can help Grazden put a stop to this menace. I daren't try to move about too much myself, but you and your people might have a chance. Are you [willing] to help?' You say, 'I'm willing' Grogald Elderhammer says 'I'm most grateful. Speak to me again when you're ready, and I'll whisper the [way] to Grazden.' You have been assigned the task 'To Serve Sporali'. Grogald Elderhammer is sending you on a special assignment. The cliknars have established locations intended to breed sporali for food, but also to create alchemical potions which will alter the clay of Brell and turn it towards some sinister new purpose. This effort of theirs must be stopped at once! Say "way" to zone in: You say, 'Show me the way' Grogald Elderhammer says 'Tell Grazden I'm sorry I couldn't do more, or do it faster. I've had a terrible time with burynai causing trouble and killing me mates in the Underquarry.' LOADING, PLEASE WAIT... You have entered Arthicrex. Find Grazden Sporefoot and learn the locations of the sporali farms 0/1 (Arthicrex) At the entrance to the northern half of the zone, just beyond the ravine and lava tunnel, you will find a sporali named Grazden Sporefoot. Location: -795, 145, 7 You say, 'Hail, Grazden Sporefoot' Grazden Sporefoot says 'Hello. I must not linger here long; I must be brief. The cliknar have descended into madness, it is true; they have also begun preying upon the sporali for nourishment. I cannot begin to tell you how disturbing it is to see them raising young sporali slaves as mindless livestock, and harvest their organs for use in their secret project. There is nothing you can do to stop them but through violent means. Locate and destroy the west sporali farm, kill its guards and leaders, and bring back any harvested materials to me.' Your task 'To Serve Sporali' has been updated. Go to the western sporali farm 0/1 (Arthicrex) This is the northwestern farm. Kill four west sporali farm guards 0/4 (Arthicrex) Four west farm guards can be found on the surface of the farm. Retrieve three samples of Sporochord Extract 0/3 (Arthicrex) /open the leatherbound chests to loot the three samples. Kill Spore Collector Kerod 0/1 (Arthicrex) Kill Mineralist Dek 0/1 (Arthicrex) Kill Reguloid Koryx 0/1 (Arthicrex) The above three named are found at the bottom of the farm. They can be split from one another. Deliver three vials of Sporochord Extract to Grazden 0/3 (Arthicrex) Hail Grazden 0/1 (Arthicrex) You say, 'Hail, Grazden Sporefoot' Grazden Sporefoot says 'Very good. You have destroyed the west sporali farm; the Cliknar will surely have difficulty replacing what they have now lost. Speak with me in just a moment, I will have more information for you.' Your task 'To Serve Sporali' has been updated. Hail Grazden 0/1 (Arthicrex) You say, 'Hail, Grazden Sporefoot' Grazden Sporefoot says 'To effectively disrupt the cliknar plan to use sporali entrails to transform the Clay of Brell into something more useful to them, whatever that may be, you'll need to destroy the eastern sporali farm. It is located in a slightly better-defended portion of the Arthicrex. Long may those cliknar suffer who turned their hive onto such a destructive path.' Your task 'To Serve Sporali' has been updated. Go to the eastern sporali farm 0/1 (Arthicrex) This is the southeastern farm. The remaining steps play out in the same fashion as with the western farm. Kill four east sporali farm guards 0/4 (Arthicrex) Retrieve one sample of Toximorel Compound 0/1 (Arthicrex) Kill Spore Collector Ki`Kivin 0/1 (Arthicrex) Kill Mineralist Rotak 0/1 (Arthicrex) Kill Reguloid Thornek 0/1 (Arthicrex) Note: The task locks as you complete the above-four steps (either as you kill the named, or as you loot the item: whichever of the above-four steps you last complete). Deliver one sample of Toximorel Compound to Grazden 0/3 (Arthicrex) Grazden Sporefoot says 'Disgusting. Chunks of sporali bodymass treated with cliknar bile. I recoil at the thought of the poor abused sporali who gave his life to produce this item. You have, I trust, eliminated the entire farm?' Hail Grazden 0/1 (Arthicrex) You say, 'Hail, Grazden Sporefoot' Grazden Sporefoot says 'You have done well completing your tasks to destroy the sporali farms quickly. I was beginning to fear a strong cliknar patrol would get here before you. Please return to Grogald, and tell him that I am most pleased with your efforts.' Your task 'To Serve Sporali' has been updated. Hail Grogald Elderhammer 0/1 (Arthicrex) You say, 'Hail, Grogald Elderhammer' Grogald Elderhammer says 'Aye, a beautiful deed is a splendorous thing to behold. The Cliknar will be hard-pressed to rebuild those farms now that they are fighting so many of the other races in Underfoot. The slaughter of untrained sporali has ended for a time.' Your task 'To Serve Sporali' has been updated. You have successfully disrupted the sporali farms, and put a stop to whatever sinister alchemy the cliknars were using them for... at least, for now. A sand-scoured chest spawns with loot (1 item). Just finished this task tonight and i was rewarded with Arcane Distillect. 85 mage spell
Necro got [https://everquest.allakhazam.com/db/item.html?item=87490] , Mage [https://everquest.allakhazam.com/db/item.html?item=87460], zerker nothing , bard nothing and they both loved it!

Are you certain you don't mean the Rk. I versions of these spells?

Just did this with my shaman in the task, but not in the zone. When reward popped, Necro got a spell, BST got a spell, but my shaman did not get his reward.
Assuming a shaman does not get a reward for this ?

I just finished this task today.... I got Field Armour as a reward for Warriors.. Just Rk I.
