Rank III spells in Underfoot are obtained through Trade-In gems which drop in various places throughout the expansion.
Dwekvard Gravelpick is a dwarf found just west of the zone-in of Brell's Rest (entering from the Hole or Guild Hall portal). You say, 'Hail, Dwekvard Gravelpick' Dwekvard Gravelpick says 'You have the honor of speaking with Dwekvard Gravelpick, one-time rune advisor to none other than Ugen Proudhammer himself! I've found eternity with Ugen in the Shining City of Kernagir to be a bit stifling in Brell's absence, shall we say. I'm now here in Brell's Rest for a time, practicing my study of Underfoot runestones. Bring me one of these if you should find one during your raids into Underfoot, and I'll give you a premium improvement to one of your advanced magic spells.' There are three types of runes: Scintillating Obsidianite Runes (dropped from lower tier raids in the Underfoot expansion) which are used for level 83 spells and tomes. Sparkling Precandescent Runes (dropped from mid tier raids in the Underfoot expansion) which are used for level 84 spells and tomes. Twinkling Hyperfiligreed Runes (dropped from Convorteum raids) which are used for level 85 spells and tomes. Please let us know, only what you can confirm firsthand, the order of spells you receive and which rune type was used to obtain them. Bard Scintillating: You'll get nothing and like it! Obtained from Scintillating Obsidianite Rune: Druid spell Remote Manaflux Rk. III
Scintillating Obsidianite Runes are only valid for level 83 spells/tomes. When I attempted to give Dwekvard a second Scintillating rune, he responded with the typical "I have no use for this" message (druids have only 1 level 83 spell in Underfoot).
Assuming level 84 and level 85 Rk.III spells/tomes will be acquired via runes of a different name.
