This solo task begins with Foreman Gribblebitz in the Foundation. He is located due north of the zone-in from the Underquarry, among numerous gnomes and dwarves. Note that KOS mobs wander through the area, so use caution when requesting tasks.
You say, 'Hail, Foreman Gribblebitz' Foreman Gribblebitz says 'Keep it moving over there Gracie! This clay isn't going to make itself Sorowitz! Well. . .actually it is. . .but that doesn't mean you can slack off! Brell's counting on us to keep his supply lines clear!' Gribblebitz turns towards you and jumps slightly. 'What are you doing here? Oh you're with all those crazies that came down from the world above. Well actually it's not really above. . . It's a completely different plane of existence. . . But I digress! What are you doing here? If you're not going to [lend a hand] then there's no time for me to be talking you!' You say, 'How can I lend a hand?' Foreman Gribblebitz says 'Well all right then if you're lookin' for something useful to do then I'll be happy to oblidge. We've got more problems than you can shake a stick at! I don't know what's gotten in to all the [critters] around the foundation but they're mad alright! And don't even get me started on the [Burynai] and the [Cliknar]!' You say, 'What about those critters?' Foreman Gribblebitz says 'I'm sure you've noticed the pletha. . . the plefa. . . well there's lots of bugs around here, and that just won't do! Somethin's gotten into these bugs and it's not good I tell you! No good! If we're not careful they'll start eating the clay, and no one wants to see that now do they? Give them a good whack and I'm sure they'll scurry off to some other part of the underfoot.' A task window pops up offering five tasks, one of which is 'Beetle Bashing'. You have been assigned the task 'Beetle Bashing'. Kill 10 beetles 0/10 (The Foundations) Small and large beetles are found throughout the zone. Be mindful of where you fight and pull from/to. Seems that certain "an adherent" NPC's don't like you killing bugs or golems.. There's some beetles close to the quest npc, Foreman Gribblebitz, that I pulled and the entire dwarf work force came after me. The emote I got was: "an adherent engineer says 'Yer making a big mistake dere, by making me angry!" Off to the zone I went! This also happened when I tried plinking a golem roamer with an arrow that was nearby the dwarf camp. I was farther away that time, but he was close to the dwarves. Off to the zone I went again. Lastly, I'm not sure what faction these dwarves are on but the beetles give -1 faction hits to underfoot Denizens, Protectors, and Citizens.
