|This solo task begins with Kronk Kollus in Pellucid Grotto. He's located at +100, +1326, +3. This follows his first task, "A Many-Faceted Dilemma" (pre-requisite).
You say, 'Hail, Kronk Kollus'
Kronk Kollus says 'Ah, strange one, I see you. I have seen you. I will see you again. All of Norrath lies before me, within my [view] below.'
You say, 'Your view?'
Kronk Kollus says 'Brell, in His wisdom, has appointed me as the Watcher of this place in the absence of Brell's true foreman. I stand watch, but it is a [troubled] watch.'
You say, 'Troubled?'
Kronk Kollus says 'Troubled, indeed, _____! In this realm lie Brell's sacred thoughts, His very memories, stored in crystals of His own manufacture. Even as I watch, even as I oversee, shadowy agents of some foul master work to unravel the memories [stored] in the crystals.'
You say, 'Stored?'
Kronk Kollus says 'Brell's mind is vast, his thoughts innumerable. He created the crystals to be bearers of his memories stretching back to the beginning of time. These memories must be [guarded]. If they become [compromised], Brell's ability to rely on them, and trust them, will be shattered. How will our god know himself if his memories, his core and crucial memories, are corrupted?'
You say, 'How are they compromised?'
Kronk Kollus says 'The Cliknar have already damaged the crystals. Several of Brell's memories have been corrupted, and there is no restoring them. What remains must be protected, but I fear the place where they are kept holds no shelter for the master's memory. They must be moved, yet I must not leave my watch. Another must rise to [protect] the memories.'
You say, 'Protect them?'
Kronk Kollus says 'One must not take this charge lightly, _____. The memories of the master must be removed and transported to our city, Geodech, where they may be kept safe. This Lucidic Siphon has been created to draw Brell's memories out of the crystals, but unfortunately it can only hold one per trip. The siphon will provide safe transport to Geodech. Can I count on you to [help]?'
You say, 'I will help'
You have been assigned the task 'A Delicate Matter'.
You receive a "Lucidic Siphon".
Draw Brell's Memories into the Lucidic Siphon 0/5 (Pellucid Grotto)
Deliver Brell's Memories to Gol Kulnar 0/5 (Pellucid Grotto)
Go to the place with the Memory Crystals (northwest corner). Hit or nuke a crystal until it reaches 35% or lower (mobs around shouldn't attack you) at which point you see...
a memory crystal shimmers and fades as it begins to weaken
Click the Siphon while you have the crystal targetted, turning it into a Full Lucidic Siphon.
Go to Gol Kulnar and hail him (stay invisible). The Siphon turns into a Lucidic Siphon again. Repeat this four more times, then go back to Kronk.
Watch out for see invis mobs, particularly the crystalline hulks.
Return to Kronk Kollus 0/1 (Pellucid Grotto)
