Well, this is a Everquest Event npc, was up, and now is gone.
{I'm kinda bummed.
I know people say you where informed about this Underfoot Event and needed to do this Event, but, I stop Reading that stuff when they kept Telling people about the Everquest Fan Fair in Vegas. I don't know about you but I don't want to hear about people that are lucky to live on the East Coast getting another Fan Fair, let alone how they say it was Cheeper to book there. This kinda stuff DROVE me away from Reading that Stuff at the Everquest Web Site's.}It was to be about Everquest, and not That stuff.}
Anyways this npc isn't in game any more, and the "Quest Goal:" wasn't for "Money" like the "Quest: They Came From Below" has States.
It was Needed for Early Access to Underfoot, and a Must have besides a Early Pre-order.

This task was a part of the lead-in events to the Underfoot expansion. It is no longer in the game.
This task began with: - a concerned citizen (in Paineel at +805, +240, +5 -- directly to the right after zoning in and leaving the tunnel) - Protector of the Ruins (in the Hole) - Elanna Noraka (near the Paineel pod) - Surveyor Lodestone (in Corathus Creep at -190, +180: same general area as Cartographer Slipgear) The task had a six-hour time limit and an 18-hour lockout timer. Opening with a concerned citizen: You say, 'Hail, a concerned citizen' a concerned citizen says 'It is horrible. Some horrible insect creatures have managed to crawl up from the ruins of Old Paineel. Can you please [destroy] some for me? I will compensate you for your actions.' You say, 'I will destroy them!' You have been assigned the task 'They Came From Below'. a concerned citizen says 'Very good. When you have killed a good amount of them come back to me. I have heard rumors that others are encountering problems. I expect that they will reward you as I will if you prefer to talk to them.' Opening with the Protector: You say, 'Hail, Protector of the Ruins ' Protector of the Ruins says 'It is worse than I originally thought. The Guardian of the Seal has [Fallen].' You say, 'The guardian has fallen?' Protector of the Ruins says 'Yes. My greatest creation has fallen. Now these invaders have spread out through much of the lower levels of these ruins. Some have even managed to escape into Paineel and Toxxulia. Rumor has even reached me of an incursion in a set of caverns off of Nektulos Forest. I need you to [assist] me and kill some of the invaders.' You say, 'I will assist you!' You have been assigned the task 'They Came From Below'. Opening with Elanna: You say, 'Hail, Elanna Noraka' Elanna Noraka says 'I've never seen anything like it, _____. These [invaders] are breaking through Paineel's defenses and are on the march.' You say, 'Invaders?' Elanna Noraka says 'I know not what they are, but they appear to have the physiology of a common insect. My colleagues and I have a [plan] that will play on those details, but we'll need your help to put the plan in action.' You say, 'A plan?' Elanna Noraka says 'It's simple: Insecticide. We don't know how effective it will be, but the best we can do is amass a large supply. We, however, need the supplies to make it happen. If you could [gather] the [supplies] we need to make the concoction, we'll be greatly appreciative. Or, if you just want to [kill them] directly, if that's your prerogative, that works, too.' You say, 'I want to kill them' Elanna Noraka says 'It is by no means a long-term solution, as the insecticide is, but you might be able to thin the ranks enough to distract them. These creatures are found in multiple areas: - Bottom of the Hole outside the Underfoot seal - Toxxulia Forest near the entrance to Paineel and surrounding areas; also around the orc camps - Paineel (location information needed) - Corathus Creep (location information needed) Report your success to one of the four interested people 0/1 (ALL) Task Window Says: You may return to the individual that gave you this quest, or any of the individuals most involved with recruiting adventurers. You can finish off the task with one of the four NPCs who give it out. You say, 'Hail, a concerned citizen' Your task 'They Came From Below' has been updated. You have assisted in the elimination of many Cliknar Invaders You receive 2520 platinum. a concerned citizen says 'Thanks for clearing out some of those bug men. Maybe now I can get back to my surveying.' Reward: 2520 Platinum Flavor Text (before the task was available): You say, 'Hail, Protector of the Ruins' Protector of the Ruins says 'Oh No. It is horrible. My creation, the Guardian of the Seal has failed. Something has caused a horrible [earthquake] that has broken through the seal from the Underfoot. I came up here to see if I could think of anything different to do to make it stronger. It is much too dangerous to assist the Guardian. I would not ask that of myself, so I will not ask it of anyone. If you can, keep an eye on things. I expect The Guardian can hold his own, but one can never be too careful.' You say, 'An earthquake?' Protector of the Ruins says 'I do not know conclusively where it originates since it has been reported over all of Norrath, and even a few of the planes. How do i get access to the old content in Ruins of Paineel, i took my necro there to work on his epic 1.5 but i cant seem to find the old mob spawns for it.

the caverns spoken of, are indeed Corathus Creep. I went to check it out myself yesterday, and found many cliknar, in the zone.

luckily the cliknar's don't see thru invis, but once the si mobs get you ur good as dead cause the cliknar's kill them and you immediately, and this is with my 73 ranger and a friend who was a 84 beastlord plus a smaller toon trying to complete his epic which are going to be extinct in the hole now i guess.
Another quest giver for this task is : Elanna Noraka in Toxxulia Forest (near Paineel pod).

This Quest is obtained from either 'a concerned citizen', located in Paineel

I was in The Hole and couldn't get the task on saturday from the Protector of the Ruins. Said to go look in on the Guardian, so down i go and watched him fight for a few hours.....On sunday i logged back in and the Guardian was dead...succored up to the entrance and he gives new text and the task....Not sure of the text but after you kill the 40 cliknar invaders..you get an update to tell one of four concerned folks.....The protector mentioned cliknar breaking free into Paineel, Toxx, and caverns off from Nectulous Forrest.

When I tried to kill Invaders near the Guardian he added in and also attacked me. The Guardian also Summons . All were light blue to 76 Warrior and did'nt hit too hard but still died due to to manny mobs to control and Merc healer died .

I doubt this, unless they changed it a lot recently. Guardian is light blue to 85, think his 2 minions are grey not sure though. Cliknar were Dark Blue and even con at 85.

When i was down there watching the Guardian get beat down...there were 3 clusters of mob each around...Guardian and his two constructs. Each "cluster" had one mob that conned yellow at 83...and the rest were db or lb

I got task in Tox forrest,I believe reward was 2520 plat.Mobs seem rooted to spot you locate them.Also task is on a 6 hour time limit.
