No one knew what it was for and let me loot it..
Hope I can MQ it for a guildy..
There is a warrior epic piece up there so we will be going back soon =)

I just pulled up the Azure Ruby Ring page and according to that, the stats are the same as the Azure Ring listed at the top of this page. Does anyone know the actual stats on this ring or should I just go for the Azure ring & be done with it?

Well, it's not upgraded, turned the items in and got what's posted. It's still 5ac 6str/sta 9dex.. gave me 36hp at level 60. Took my 6 trips of killing the Protector of Sky to get the small ruby. I have to say one thing about the Belt of the Four Winds quest though.... getting a pegasus statuette is damn hard!! I only got one to drop out of 32 possible chances, luckily my guild likes me enough to give me it =P. Personally I'd like to see this ring get an upgrade, but for the difficulty it is to complete the quest, I wouldn't expect too much of an upgrade... still.. making it 10ac would be nice ;D

I believe the TINY ruby and the SMALL ruby have the same graphic, so you have to right-click-and-hold to get the true description.
I have made the mistake of turning in the wrong ruby by mistake... so I can speak from experience.
Make sure you double and triple check ALL quest items before you turn them in.

I just handed in the tiny ruby instead of the small ruby (which no-one has seen) along with the other items including the rare ring, it munched it, please dont waste your items handing in the tiny ruby, the small one either exists or the quest is broken.

You are correct, the tiny ruby is not the correct item. However, I've not seen the small ruby in about half a dozen trips to sky. Yet I HAVE heard of it dropping.
I have the 'rare' ring already but it doesn't seem as rare as the nearly non-existent small ruby.

Please people when you know that someone has been camping for a long time, don't pester them about when they are going to leave. Don't sit down next to them to "wait" until they are done. You might be waiting a long time and then the time it takes for you to complete your camp on top of that. The NPC will always respawn and will always be there. Just ask them kindly if they will send you a tell when they are done and 9 times out of 10 they will. These players are tired from camping that long of a period and quite understandably a little grouchy and become extremely nervous at the thought of someone possibly stealing their kill. So, be courteous.

I've been ready to finish this god forsaken quest for 9 months. I've had two of the 3 pieces the ivory tess and the azure ring for that long. You know what I've never seen a small ruby drop in the time I've been doing sky that's from January - September and I have not been able to finish this. Ivory tess's drop like crazy, so do "tiny" rubies. Azure rings are the rare no drop piece. So now what. I got two pieces in my bank and no ruby. Verant won't tell me if this is broken or not. So yes I'm rating this quest **** poor.

I know that the Thunder Spirits drop the Tesseras, the Tiny Rubies are from the gorgalasks, but where o where does one get an azure ring from?

I read on castersrealm that this quest was bugged and that you have to turn in a small ruby now instead of a tiny ruby. Can anyone confirm this?
