You must complete "Augury of Time" (and its prerequisite tasks) to request this task. You need at least high amiable faction with Toskirakk Slaves in order to request this task.

You say, 'Hail, Dwerina Feystalker'

Dwerina Feystalker says 'There are many things to do and not enough hands to do them. I know that you have been busy around here, perhaps you have time for one other [dangerous task]. By now it's certainly not [unusual] for us to expect you to [help] out. I'm sure everyone here would appreciate it beyond [reason].

You say, 'What dangerous task is it this time?'

Dwerina Feystalker says 'I have heard that there is an ogre faction in the city that holds different beliefs than most. They are not separatists, and they follow Rallos steadfastly in all but one respect. Rallos believes in honoring the dead if they proved worthy in battle. They bury them ritually, say some kind words, then go on about their lives. Those of this sect referred to as Lakkung believe that [more] should be done.'

You say, 'More?'

Dwerina Feystalker says 'They believe that statues should be erected for those who proved worthy. They beieve the names should be remembered and held in honor. They believe that their lives and deeds should be recorded and spoken aloud so that they can be forever remembered. Such a thing [makes sense] to you and I, but not so much for the Rallosians.'

You say, 'Makes sense is a terrible dialogue hook.'

Dwerina Feystalker says 'Theirs is a forward looking culture. They only concentrate on future conquest. Looking back is wasted effort for them. It's not that they don't forget tactics or battles, but to them the individual is not important, only the empire. This group, this cult, has taken to remembering and repeating the names of the great Rallosians. They ended up being called the cult of [Lakkung] because Lakkung is their first name, the one they start with each time.'

You say, 'Who was Lakkung?'

Dwerina Feystalker says 'Oh, I don't know anything about Lakkung herself, but I know who you can ask.' She smiles. 'I need you to get into the cult. Not as a member, that won't happen, but as a slave. I keep hearing rumors about another, much more secret group inside the empire. Maybe the cult of Lakkung, being as fringe as one can get in this place, knows something about a more secretive group. I need you to go to them as a slave and do whatever they ask until you can find out something or, I guess, until we're certain they don't know anything at all. Can you [do this]?'

You say, '*sigh* I can do this.'

Dwerina Feystalker says 'You'll have to keep your armor and weapons hidden or they will know you're not a slave and surely they won't talk with you around. Luckily the ogres tend to think of their slaves as nothing of worth and so we have been able to learn much by just being quiet.'

You have been assigned the task 'The Cult of Lakkung'.

Dwerina has asked you to get near the cult of Lakkung and discover if they know anything about a secret group working somewhere in Toskirakk. To do this you will need to go to them without weapons and armor and act as a slave. You will have to do whatever they ask of you until you can overhear something useful or until Dwerina is convinced that there is nothing to learn.

Speak with a leader of the Lakkung cult 0/1 (Toskirakk)

Namekeeper Tregnok is upstairs, at -1965, +1330, +285. Remove all visible armor and weapons (including range) before speaking with him, or he will order the guards to attack. Both he and Spiritminder Loknar scowl, but neither will attack. There is another Rallosian beside them who will, so use caution, or kill him first.

You say, 'Hail, Namekeeper Tregnok'

If you have not removed all armor and weapons:

Namekeeper Tregnok says 'Who allowed this slave to have armor? Someone come over here and kill it.'

The random Rallosian standing beside him will then aggro. This applies to all subsequent communications with him. If you have properly removed all your armor:

Namekeeper Tregnok says 'Pest, get out of my sight! No, wait. You're here, you can do something for me. Go and find me lunch. Something warm, I think. I know, Halfling meat should be filling enough.'

Your task 'The Cult of Lakkung' has been updated.

Do any tasks that they require of you 0/1 (Toskirakk)

Apparently he's hungry. How hard can it be to find Halfling meat?

On the far west side of the marketplace, Drednig Cleave is located at -640, +2290, +65. He sells Halfling Meat for 3.149 platinum. Combine one of these by itself in a spit or oven to create Halfling Steaks.

While you're visiting Drednig, buy some Tog's Grog. He sells it for 10.499pp.

Give a steak to Namekeeper Tregnok.

Namekeeper Tregnok says 'Well, it's burnt. You can never trust a slave to do anything right.'

Spiritminder Loknar says 'Where's mine you worthless fool?'

Give a steak to Spiritminder Loknar.

Spiritminder Loknar says 'Finally. I've nearly forgotten ten names of the great while you were crawling around trying to make fire. Get away from me, your smell taints the meat.'

Your task 'The Cult of Lakkung' has been updated.

Namekeeper Tregnok says 'Wait one moment! Where's the grog? Don't they teach slaves anything these days? Go get us grog! Do you believe this, Loknar? If I weren't so busy with my spiritual pursuits I might just go down there and teach those slavemasters a thing or two.'

You still haven't heard anything useful, continue to act as their slave 0/1 (Toskirakk)

Grog for the Ogres, what fun!

Hand him Tog's Grog.

Namekeeper Tregnok says 'Finally. An Ogre could die of thirst waiting for the likes of you.'

Namekeeper Tregnok says 'Hey, get over here with my grog!'

Yes, that's correct, he asks for another. This may be an error, but if you give him another:

Namekeeper Tregnok says 'Well, I only wanted one, but I can surely eat another.'

Give one to Loknar.

Spiritminder Loknar says 'It's gone cold! Worthless slaves...'

Your task 'The Cult of Lakkung' has been updated.

Namekeeper Tregnok says 'Are you still here slave? Why don't you go kill some of those rats that run around in the sanctuary? Bring me their heads.'

Perhaps there isn't anything to learn here. Keep trying though 0/8 (Toskirakk)

Bring them rat's heads until they grow tired of throwing them back into your face.

Massive Rat Heads drop from dreadrats in Toskirakk. They are both tradeable and prelootable. Turn in 8 of these. You can find dreadrats on the upper floor of Toskirakk. If you head down the tunnel to the south-west of the upper level you will pass four or five on the way and find two the end room. Of course, only about half the rats actually have heads.

Remember to remove your armor again! If you turn in a head before removing all armor and weapons, not only will you get aggro, he will eat the head and not credit your task.

Namekeeper Tregnok says 'By Rallos! You smell worse than these rat heads, slave!'

Spiritminder Loknar says 'Speaking of rats, have you heard about the outsiders that have somehow infiltrated the leadership? I hear they come from someplace beyond our world. We're not talking about the planes of power here; we're talking about someplace else. They say that these creatures are going to help the Warlord with his future plans. Why would they think that Rallos Zek needs their help?'

Namekeeper Tregnok says 'You'll believe anything, Loknar. You even bought that shaman's prophecy, what happened? Nothing, that's what. Even if there are creatures from some other world trying to talk the warlords into some crazy plan, they'll know better. The Rallosian Empire will conquer all.'

Your task 'The Cult of Lakkung' has been updated.

Return to Dwerina with the disturbing news 0/1 (Toskirakk)

Something useful has come from all of your humiliating work. Dwerina will want to know about this immediately.

You say, 'Hail, Dwerina Feystalker'

Your task 'The Cult of Lakkung' has been updated.

Dwerina seemed a bit surprised that her plan worked. She was also very concerned to learn about a group that might contain outsiders working alongside some of the Rallosians. She doubts that their intentions are good.

4 rats in the green area

5 more rats also in the green area

1 rat on the main floor between some buildings

I read they are on a 15 minute respawn. They seemed to respawn fairly quick.

You only need two grog, one for each. No reason to give Tregnok two of them.

it is safer for you to kill all but the two nameds in the room. I had all off of me and still died. So went back and kill all in the room but the two nameds to hand stuff too. Much better then. Naked and hailed no problems.

There is an oven in Tosk at (-480, 1250, 66) which is just north of the center on the first floor, among some slaves. Could use that to cook the meat. There's a brew barrel there too.

Also you can save time by prelooting everything and visiting the Namekeeper last -- that way you only have to remove your armor once.
