Shaman Test of Sight  

This quest begins with Medicine Man Veetra in the Efreeti room of the Plane of Sky.

You say, 'Hail, Medicine Man Veetra'

Medicine Man Veetra says 'Good day to you, ______. Are you a shaman of [much experience]?'

You say, 'yes I am a shaman of much experience'

Medicine Man Veetra says 'Then welcome to the tests of the medicine man. I have two tomes, each tells of a shaman of great accomplishment. They are Gina MacStargan and Ooga. Simply tell me the name of the shaman you want to be tested by.'

You say, 'Gina'

Medicine Man Veetra says 'Return this tome to me if you wish me to call forth Gina. Destroy it if you do not.'

You receive the book Spirits Among Us. Give it back to Medicine Man Veetra. Medicine Man Veetra despawns and Gina MacStargan spawns in his place. Gina MacStargan will despawn in a minute or three, so don't dawdle.

Gina MacStargan says 'Hail. I have come to assist.'

Medicine Man Veetra says 'I am no longer needed and will take my leave.'

You say, 'Hail, Gina MacStargan'

Gina MacStargan says 'Hello, ______. I am the keeper of the tests of might, of health, and of sight. I also have been intrusted to allow players to trade back their old items for an upgraded version.'

You say, 'test of sight'

Gina MacStargan says 'So you wish to take the test of sight, do you? Get me a phosphoric globe, a sphinx hide, and a light damask mantle. Give them all to me at the same time and I shall reward you well.'

Turn in the Phosphoric Globe, Sphinx Hide, and Light Damask Mantle to receive your Fairy-Hide Mantle (it used to give out Sphinx-Hide Mantle).

Gina MacStargan says 'Great work, ______! Take this mantle as a token of my respect for you.'

You gain experience!!

Ok, I finally did this quest today and it took me quite a while to figure out how the heck to do it. Basically you to up to the Quest hall by using the 'Key of Veeshan'. It costs 1copper.

Next you go up the the turban wearing guy. There is one for each class. The one for Shamen is Medicine man something.

I couldn't get that ******* to answer me so I talked to some of the other efreeties (turban wearers). I figured out to do this quest you say to the original guy "I wish to be tested by Gina McStargan."

He gives you a book. You give the book back and he despawns and Gina pops in his place. You give her the stuff and she gives you a shiny new mantle.

Where is this Gina McStargan lady?

I got the Phosporic Globe last night from a Gust of Wind. Was my last item, i was looking nearly one year for it, so i think it is very rar.

With the wisdom boost on the new 'Mantle' reward for this quest, it makes it worth getting if you havn't maxed your wisdom other ways yet. The resists and ac are nice too.
The 2 charge thing is still a stupid idea. Don't know why they just don't make it a clickable effect, we can cast the spell anyways. It would just save mana, something I'm always a fan of.
