Anniversary events tend to run from mid-March to mid-April (sometimes to mid-May) each year. They are not available during the "off season".
For an overview and list of EverQuest Anniversary events, see this quest entry. This is an anniversary quest available only during anniversary season (a few weeks during March and April). It was introduced in 2009 as part of EverQuest's 10th anniversary. This is one of 16 deity quests. For an overview of how rewards work and how these quests are linked with one another, see this writeup. Below here are the details for this particular quest. This task begins with the Avatar of Solusek Ro. It is located in North Ro (not far from the undead, you can't miss him, he's HUGE! /loc +6771, -702, +141). You say, 'Hail, Avatar of Solusek Ro' Avatar of Solusek Ro says 'Hello mortal. I have come to your realm once again. Have little fear, I have come to [celebrate].' You say, 'Celebrate?' Avatar of Solusek Ro says 'You mortals have had a relationship with your gods forever. But the last decade has been interesting and active. We have clashed several times and some of those times you even triumphed. I have to admit that some of your gods have come to admire you, even those that are not your creators. And so I have come here myself to interact with you. Though I have little to speak with you about, we do have one thing in common. We both enjoy [flames].' You say, 'We enjoy flames' You have been assigned the task 'Bonfires of Vanity - Solusek Ro's Favor'. Avatar of Solusek Ro says 'There is nothing greater than the power and majesty of fire. It is this that I have always provided you. You have benefited from my light and warmth and you have used its power to shape the world. For this I respect you and offer you a task. Bring my message to others in this time of celebration. I have chosen some places where my power is desperately needed or where it is known and understood. Go there and bring with you fire.' OBJECTIVE: Bring out the pyro-maniac in you! Set things on fire! STEPS: (use the Flames of Solusek Ro given to you to set fire!) 1. Visit the place where Solusek Ro used his flames most famously and warm up those spectres. ....Southern Desert of Ro -- edge of isle where Spectre Tower resides (3839.97, -1651.05, 24.32) 2. Go visit the campers in that Unkempt pine forest. Deliver to them some warmth. ....Jagged Pine Forest -- City area in the northwest (1012.40, 1732.41, -1.88) 3. Warm up the sand giant statue in the snow-filled north. ....Everfrost -- giant statue (630.48, -5412.75, 18.90) 4. Find the dank swamp in the place called Blightfire and teach them about real fire. ....Blightfire Moors -- inside the swamp (394.09, -584.07, -77.04) 5. Just about anywhere in the middle that murky tree-infested place called Nektulos. ....Nektulos Forest -- road in the middle of the zone (-97.30, 136.02, 37.49) 6. Show the truth of flame to the druids that visit the dark forest called Toxxulia. ....Toxxulia Forest -- Druid ring (near 840, -1165) 7. Put a flame under the rears of the elves. They need a reminder of the power of fire. ....Greater Faydark -- underneath Kelethin 8. Release flame in front of the entrance to Unrest. Remind them why they can't rest easily. ....Dagnors Cauldron -- (-1648, -693) It is out on the rocky part, closer to the edge of the water in front of the Unrest entrance. 9. Release the flames near the object that created the Burned Woods. ....Burning Woods -- the meteor in the crater (-782.60, -1022.31, -617.99) 10. Bring some warmth to the frozen tower. ....Iceclad -- outside of Tower of Frozen Shadows 11. Deliver 1 Flames of Solusek Ro to the Avatar of Solusek Ro. Upon completion: You have burned many things in honor of Solusek Ro and the celebration of the year. I'm not sure which of the other diety tasks are associated with Bonfires of Vanity timer, however, I believe Love Norrathian Style and The Power of Hatred are on 1 timer but not associated with Bonfires of Vanity timer.

Have room for 1 clicky item (Flames of Solusek Ro).
Bascially, use the clicky to set fires in the following locations:
1) Inside Spectre Tower in S Ro
2) Jaggedpine (at portal to Surefall)
3) Everfrost between the legs of the big statue
4) Blightfire at the swamp (just past the pond as you enter from the south
side)
5) Nektulos (mid-zone along the road)
6) Toxx at the Druid ring
7) GFay under Kelethin (at NPC Kaldona Bell works)
8) Dagnors at the tunnel entrance to Unrest
9) Burning Woods by the meteor in the crater
10) Iceclad at the doorway to the Tower of Frozen Shadows
11) Give the Flames of Solusek Ro back to Avatar of Solusek (N. Ro)
