    This group task is the second in a series of three and begins with Telivar S`vik in Korafax. To spawn him, go to the room marked on this map and say "Telivar" (you must have completed the "Find Telivar" task in order to do this - see this page for progression information).

    You must have completed his prior tasks in order to request it.



    You say, 'Hail, Telivar S`vik'

    Telivar S`vik looks around suspiciously. 'So, you learned of me. Must have been that worthless human I saved. I should have known better. Should have left him to suffer. Now, I should just kill you. If [these creatures] torture you, you'll start screaming right away. I can't [trust] you, even if you claim to be here to help. If there were [more] of you, then I might have more faith. The beasts here come closer to finding me every day. With your help I probably won't be able to [evade] them very long.

    You say, 'There are more of me'

    Telivar S`vik says 'Well, if you have help, then I might have something you can do to help out. I keep my eyes and ears open, and I know where the danger lies. I can slip you past some of the trouble and send you on your way if you're [ready].'

    You have been assigned the task 'Inside Information'.

    A dragorn intelligence officer has been captured by discordant forces and brought to the citadel for questioning. This dragorn possibly holds the key for winning the war against discord and must be rescued.

    You say, 'Ready!'

    Telivar S`vik says 'Good luck.'

    Locate the dragorn being held captive within the Discord citadel 0/1 (Korafax, Home of the Riders)

    "a dragorn captive" is located in the vitrik corporifer room. This step updates as you enter it.

    Free the captive Dragorn from the torture room 0/1 (Korafax, Home of the Riders)

    As you clear the room, an alarm will sound:

    Alarms sound throughout the citadel and an unknown voice comes booms, 'INTRUDERS IN THE PREPARATION CHAMBERS!'

    At this point, mastruq and ra`tuk tormentors start spawning. You must kill 8 of them before moving on in the task.

    Your task 'Inside Information' has been updated.

    Escort the Dragorn out 0/1 (Korafax, Home of the Riders)

    You say, 'Hail, a dragorn captive'

    a dragorn captive weakly lifts his head and obviously in a great deal of pain from the torture he has endured, 'At last, a friendly face. I need to get out of here _____. If these creatures knew the information I had, I'd have been dead long ago. You must help me escape, so that I can get this information to my superiors. Let me know when you are [ready to leave].'

    Take what time you need to med up and tell him when you're ready to leave.

    You say, 'We're ready to leave'

    a dragorn captive says 'Let's get going then! Be sure to [stop] me if there is danger ahead. I'm afraid I will be no help should we come under attack. The torture I have endured has left me too weak to even raise a weapon.'

    You can tell him to 'Stop' and Go' as you make your way to the zoneout:

    You say, 'Stop'

    a dragorn captive says 'Is there danger ahead _____? I will wait here until you think it's safe to [go].'

    You say, 'Go'

    a dragorn captive says 'Onward then, but don't hesitate to [stop] me if there is danger ahead. I am much too weak to defend myself.'

    As you get outside with the dragorn (to the regular zone-in), a named will spawn and attack.

    The Vitrik Inquisitor shouts, 'You think you can escape me Dragorn? I'll rip your mind from your worthless body and throw what's left to the Ukun for food!'

    The Vitrik Inquisitor charges your party. It hits for ~7,000; enrages; summons; and is mezzable. It casts two spells:

    Grasp of the Inquisitor: Rag'Zhezum Special 0', (-550)
    1: Decrease Mana by 1000 per tick
    2: Decrease Endurance by 1000 per tick

    Screeching Fury: PB AE 100', (-550)
    1: Decrease Spell Haste by 70%
    2: SpinStun

    Vitrik Inquisitor's corpse squawks loudly and collapses.
    Vitrik Inquisitor has been slain by _____!
    Your faction standing with Discordant Armies got worse.
    Your faction standing with Dragorn Forces got better.
    Your faction standing with Herald of Druzzil Ro got better.

    The dragorn captive thanks you heartily for his rescue, and seems confident the information he carries can win this war against the discordant forces.

    a dragorn captive says 'Many thanks friends. I believe I can make my own way from here. I could not have escaped without your help. The knowledge I take back to my superiors is of great importance and could decide the outcome of this war.'

    I ended up with +74 Herald of Druzzil Ro faction and was getting +1 per kill inside the instance about 2/3 of the time and +2 about a 3rd of the time.

    Also, no warping as mentioned in older posts.

    I believe like most quests in SoD its variable, but this one seems quite high either way.

    I got some people to join group so I could get the mission but did this molo (with healer merc and pet) (I am a newbie but wanted to post this for others)

    I cleared all mobs from zone in to Vitrik room, (this way I didnt have anything to kill when the Dragorn walked out and could just walk with him. He didnt warp for me)
    Nothing repops, just have to look for wanderes but it tool me about an hour and half but so so experience, (lt blue mobs)

    I had to kill about 20 mobs in the vitrik room before the Dragorn would go with me.

    Til then he always said: a dragorn captive looks at you as if you're crazy, 'I can't leave with all these guards here! Kill them first and then we can go.'

    the dragorn moves out, triggers the named, stops on the ramp, poofs after the named was killed, the "update" message appears but the task step remains unchecked, the task does not proceed.

    This might be timed. I am duoing this with my sham and mercs and I've killed about 18 mobs so far. The dragorn still will not respond to any hails. I am thinking that I am killing them too slow.

    Warping Dragorn and Despawning Guards

    This quest is currently bugged but doable. Following are some tips that will help you succeed.

    As soon as you're in the instance, head to the zone-in and kill the 2 guards at the door and the wanderer there. You want to do this because most of the time, the dragorn will warp close to the zone in, and of course those guards and the wanderer will try to kill him.

    Then go and clear the room with the birds, where the dragorn will spawn. Once that room is clear, pairs of guards will spawn and despawn. Kill those guards until you've killed at least eight. The dragorn won't respond to anyone until you've killed at least that many.

    Before hailing the dragorn, get at least one person back to he zone-in near the door where you killed the guards. Have them ready to tell the dragorn to STOP, or he will continue walking and trigger the named. He doesn't always warp, but seems to most of the time.

    If he doesn't warp, kill as normal, making the dragorn stop and go as needed. Keep someone at the zone-in in case he does warp. Once you kill the named at the zone-in, mission is complete.

    -Followed everything said here and it worked perfectly. Great idea to kill the two guards at the entrance and the roamer inside the door first. I would highly advise that. When we did it, the Dragorn did not warp, but we made sure to have a player at the entrance just incase he did.

    -A note about the despawning guards. It appears that you have 40 seconds to pull and engage the guard before it despawns. Once your group engages it, it will not despawn on you. However, it did despawn on us mid-pull a couple of times. Once you kill 8 of those guards, the task will update.

    -Also when the Dragorn makes his way back towards the entrance, he will take the most direct route to the entrance (assuming he doesn't warp, that is). Just clear the mindshear attendants to your immediate left, and then all the ones on the right in the Mindshear room leading to the entrance, and you will be fine.

    -When the dragorn finally makes it outside to the entrance, once he gets on that platform, the named will spawn. The named spawned behind us, and honestly we were expecting a bit more. For my group, the named was really a pushover.

    We did all the steps to this up to killing the guards we pulled 8 of the guards that popped, both mastruqs and ra'tuks. After 8 kills no update so we waited for the mobs to depop thinking we were done with the guards, then woke the dragorn and stopped him at the door. When everyone was ready and at the dragorn we told him to go and we killed the vitrik. We got the task update for killing the named vitrik but still no "free the dragorn from the torture room" update. We went back and killed more guards and finally after killing 8 of the mastuqs (total, 2 from before we woke the dragorn and 6 after) we got the update and quest completion. I hope this helps it took us a few tries to get it down.
