Deliver 3 Zahlikk Crystal to Blurik the Runner - Toskirakk
Hail Blurik and listen to what he has to say. - Toskirakk

This is what Blurik says when you hail him to finish the task. After hailing Blurik for the last step of the task it completes and you get the rewards listed above.

Looted the crystals (Dasiron and Zahlikk) before getting the task. Killed 3 ward sergeants after I got the task, but the crystals I already had didn't count. You need to kill 3 before you start looting.

Edit: So I had the gems prelooted but they didn't update until I looted another set. Then it gave me credit for them all.

You say, Hail, Blurik the Runner

Blurik the Runner says 'Stranger, you wouldn't want to help a good Goblin soul, would you? I have been tasked by General Daakk to collect protective crystals for the Netherstone Portal. I would be very [grateful] for any assistance you could provide.'

You say, 'grateful'

Blurik the Runner says 'I have no coin, but I could be persuaded to answer a few of your questions about the Portal and how it works. That is, if you'll help me, which no one ever does. Will you [consider] this task? I promise to reveal certain interesting information on the Portal in exchange. A promise of Blurik's does not go unredeemed, that is what everyone says.'

You have been assigned the task 'Blurik's Toil'.

Blurik the runner says 'Very good. I need three Dasiron crystals and three Zahlikk crystals. You'll be told what they are for when you bring them to me. As to where you might find them I suggest talking to Muskorr Agitarr in the Great Plaza.'

You say, 'Hail, Muskorr Agitarr'

Your task 'Blurik's Toil has been updated.

Muskorr Agitaar says 'Ah, another humanoid. I don't know why there are so many of you running around in Toskirakk these days without wearing chains. If Blurik sent you, I might as well play along. You certainly wont be able to take down one Toskirakk Ward Sergeant, let alone three, so what's the harm in telling you? Yes. The ward sergeants carry the Netherstone Portal crystals in case of an emergency. Kill enough of them and you'll find the crystals Blurik needs.'

The quest requires you to hail Muskorr Agitarr before opening the 2nd line which is to kill 3 Toskirakk Ward Sergeant's. Only after killing the three sergeants can you move to the third line - collecting the crystals. Only 3 of each crystal is needed, and they are prelootable, but a final crystal of both types needs to be looted after the line is opened to have them all count.

Your task 'Blurik's Toil' has been updated.

~yellow text~ When you completed the task Blurik gave you, he seemed shocked. He shouted, 'Look, everyone, a minor humanoid who is as good as his word! Thank you for finding the crystals I needed!' ~end yellow text~

Blurik the Runner says 'You have found the crystals! Now I will avoid an unpleasant flogging. As I promised, I will tell you about the Portal. It exists in more than one location, in more than one plane. It is said to have been built by captive slave-mages who were put to death long ago. This was perhaps a mistake, for gradually the portal began to give off malevolent entergies which burn beings who pass through it, unless they carry one of these arcane crystals. The Dasiron and Zahlikk crystals are used by larger creatures and constructs. Seek ye the blue Laitos crystals if you wish to travel to the Plane of Earth, those will prevent you from getting a nasty scalding as you journey through the Portal.'

The task is completed at that point.

each kill will drop 2-3 crystals
1 red
1 green
and sometimes a blue save these for later. He will tell you that you need the blue ones to safely pass the gateway. think this is for later in raids
