This quest begins with Sarkis Ebonblade in the Efreeti room of the Plane of Sky.

Sarkis Ebonblade says 'Greetings, ______. Have you come here to test your dark powers of skill and spell casting?'

Sarkis Ebonblade says 'You will be tested by either Gragrot or Tynicon. Choose one!'

You say, 'tested by Tynicon'

Sarkis Ebonblade says 'Tynicon it is! Take this book and read it. When you are finished, hand it back to me and I shall summon Tynicon to test you.'

You receive the book Knights of the Malign. Give it back to Sarkis Ebonblade. Sarkis Ebonblade despawns and Tynicon D`Lin spawns in his place. Tynicon D`Lin will despawn in a minute or three, so don't dawdle.

Sarkis Ebonblade says 'Farewell.'

Tynicon D`Lin says 'I am here to do your bidding, Shadowknight Spirit!'

Sarkis Ebonblade says 'Till next time! Farewell!'

You say, 'Hail, Tynicon D`Lin'

Tynicon D`Lin says 'Hail! So you think you are a mighty shadowknight? Your dark magic is very important to us. Are you ready to be tested or could it be that you have come back in hopes of a trade?'

Tynicon D`Lin says 'Great, let us waste no more time! I offer to you four challenges. Disempowerment, envenoming, raising of the dead, or necropotence. Choose one to be tested on.'

Tynicon D`Lin says 'The dead are our allies against those who would oppose us. Proceed upward through the sky and return to me a large sky pearl, a jar of honey, a sphinxian ring, and fae pauldrons. This will prove your abilities to me and I will reward you with the pearlescent pauldrons.'

Give Tynicon the Large Sky Pearl, Jar of Honey, Sphinxian Ring, and Fae Pauldrons to receive your Pearlescent Pauldrons.

I actaully am addicted to posky and when I saw this didnt have an item linked to it I have been saving the parts on my alts for it untill last night when I got the fae pauldrons
I just mqed it to an sk friend of my a few min ago untill last night there were no posts on it. Kind of thought it might be a cool 0 percent rez item for sks or something crazy like that. To bad I guess I just have to keep farming shaman rings

To Sarkis Ebonblade, say "choose Tynicon".

To Tynicon DLin give,

1. a Large Sky Pearl (All 3 Djinns),
2. a Jar of Honey (found on all Bzzazzts),
3. a Sphinxian Ring (Sister of the Spire), and
4. Fae Pauldrons (Eye of Veeshan).

The reward are Pearlescent Pauldrons. They are in the database already.

But I gotta admit I'm amazed that "26 people have rated this quest" without knowing the result. =P
