Primal Terrors  

Took around 3-4 hours of killing straightly for 2 characters.
I know one of goals of a game is time killing, but they can make it more enjoyable instead of lousy or annoying.
If you don't want to complete Rallosian Battle Figure, I recommend to not take this quest.

When doing this quest, also take Unusual Properties, Crystal Clarity and Pinnacle of Destruction, all of them from same NPC.
By the time you finished other quests, you PROLLY get enough of crystal fluid this quest requires.

If you get enough of fire power, you can camp these named at same time as I did.

There are five quests available from Ulgin through the same dialogue. Here's the dialogue for this one:

You say, 'Hail, Ulgin Darkhammer'

Ulgin Darkhammer says 'Good to see an eager face in these mines, traveler. Our work is cut out for us here. We've lost too many dwarves in the explosion which wrought havoc just to the north of us. Murdunk's magic-users conjured a mighty blast to break the Korascian Frogs, but they also opened up a hole in the Plane of Earth, exposing its [crystal] core.'

You say, 'crystal'

Ulgin Darkhammer says 'Aye, and when the Crystal Core was breached, it began growing masses of crystal into what was left of the Warrens up there, and strange crystalline creatures began issuing from the primal energy. They killed the dwarves we sent to [investigate]. A shame, because those primal crystal beasties could be worth a lot; I know a few mages that would love to get their hands on that much raw crystal.'

You say 'investigate'

Ulgin Darkhammer says 'There are a few tasks if you're looking for ways to keep busy for Kaigrun. I need someone to do some [scouting], some harvesting of crystalline [fluids], some gathering of crystalline [organs] for study, and perhaps you can make matters easier for us by knocking off the crystalline creature who seems to be their [ruler]. Of, if you have the help of a few allies, perhaps you might be able to help us deal with the recent growth of crystal [blooms].'

You say, 'fluids'

You have been assigned the task 'Primal Terrors'.

When you finish the quest:

You say, 'Hail, Ulgin Darkhammer'
Your task 'Primal Terrors' has been updated.
You have found and delivered what Ulgin asked for, and have once again proven your worth to the Darkhammers.
Your faction standing with Darkhammer Dwarves got better.

Ulgin Darkhammer says 'Very, very good! These samples of the lifeblood of those accursed crystal beasties will give our alchemist much to ponder.'

Your faction standing with Mitius, Herald of Change got better.
You have successfully been granted your reward for: Primal Terrors

Gives about .8% reg xp at 84. I think it was 60 chronos and some piece of quest miniature armor. Will post specifics next time I do it.

One of the other responses leads to a timed group quest in an instance:

You say, 'take care'
Ulgin Darkhammer says 'I can transport you nearer to the caves when you are [ready]. Good luck out there.'
You have been assigned the task 'The Crystal Bloom'.
