Delver Hagorn is located in the Korascian Warrens in the Darkhammer Dwarf encampment east of the Bridge of Doom. Location: 529.24, -2234.56, -29.65

You must first have completed the task "Get to the Delve" in order to request this one.

    You say, 'Hail, Delver Hagorn'

Delver Hagorn says 'You'll need to make yourself useful around here, see, if you expect to use our Delve as a base of operations. We've got a lot of problems and every Dwarf that isn't mining is costing us profit. D'ye want to help with our [support] problems, or is [combat] more your style?'

    You say, 'Support?'

Delver Hagorn says 'One of the things we lack enough Dwarves to do properly is the rounding up of supplies. Not to put too fine a point on the [problem], but this part of the Plane of Earth has no water sources at all, and as far as game to hunt, forget it, unless you can swallow crystal, mud, or mithril. Or might ye care to discuss the issue we've been having with these escaped [slaves]?'

    You say, 'Slaves?'

Delver Hagorn says 'This concern of yours for the well-being of the other humanoid slaves brought here by Murdunk's army is admirable, but we're not here to be a charity, we're here to dig out the mineral wealth and then leave. The only [Dwarf] here who can make the decision to shelter escaped slaves is Kaigrun.'

    You say, 'Dwarf?'

Delver Hagorn says 'Yeah, the boss, the one who got us all interested in coming here in the first place. Why don't you [go] see what he says?'

    You say, 'I'll go'

Delver Hagorn says 'Best of luck, but don't get your hopes up.'

You have been assigned the task 'Supplication for Mercy'.

The slaves of the Rallosian Army invading the Plane of Earth deserve a better fate than death! Enlist the aid of Kaigrun Darkhammer if he will lend a sympathetic ear. Speak with Kaigrun about the possibility of the slaves coming to the Delve for santuary.

Speak with Kaigrun Darkhammer 0/1 (Korascian Warrens)

Kaigrun Darkhammer can be found a little further into the Delve area.

    You say 'Hail Kaigrun Darkhammer'

Kaigrun Darkhammer says 'Take in a bunch of worthless escaped slaves? Of course not! In times like these, every bit of gold counts, and I can't spend any of it caring for Murdunk's disenchanted humanoid slaves. They would hang me for an enemy of their empire if I had even one of their slaves from them. Go and tell Delver my orders stand - all fleeing slaves are to be delivered back to the Rallosians!'

Speak with Delver Hagorn 0/1 (Korascian Warrens)

    You say 'Hail Delver Hagorn'

Delver Hagorn says 'I am trying to think what would open Kaigrun's mind to accepting some escaped slaves around here. It's not a terrible proposition, but Kaigrun is right not to stick his neck out and endanger our clan by taking in people who belong to the Rallosians. Could be very bad for business. On the other hand, maybe he just needs a little more convincing. When we marched through Taskirakk on our way here, a Dark elf slave named Dwerina Feystalker tried to approach me and yelled something about a kinsman of ours. I wasn't able to stop and ask, because it would have been of of line to speak directly to our hosts' slaves. Maybe she knows something useful to you.'

Speak with Dwerina Feystalker 0/1 (Toskirakk)

    You say 'Hail Dwerina Feystalker'

Dwerina Feystalker says 'Hello _____. I suppose the dwarf engineer sent you back from the Plane of Earth. Well, when I saw the dwarves of Darkhammer Clan march through town, I thought that they would want to know that one of their own was buried here. They didn't break their stride, and I wasn't able to sepak my piece before I was being showed back into the slave-mine. Here is my journal, however; it tells of their comrade Bogen Darkhammer, who was brought to the slave-mine in poor condition, and of the steps we took to keep him alive, but to no avail.'

Deliver 1 Dwerina's Journal to Kaigrun Darkhammer 0/1 (Korascian Warrens)

Kaigrun Darkhammer says 'This Dark Elf woman knew our long-lost Bogen, did she? Well, I never knew he'd been enslaved by the Rallosians. I wonder if Murdunk was aware he had one of our thanes working in his slave-mines digging for platinum while he was negotiating for half of our profits from this miserable undertaking. We made agreements with Murdunk that were not honored! I'll never forget the kindness of the slaves I am reading about in these pages, nursing Bogen as best they could until they died.'

Speak with Kaigrun Darkhammer 0/1 (Korascian Warrens)

    You say 'Hail Kaigrun Darkhammer'

Kaigrun Darkhammer says 'This tale of what became of Bogen has given me a change of heart. OF course I'll accept a few extra hands around here. If ever I needed a few more miners, it's now, and when we get out of here, I'll make sure we help these escaped slaves find a proper home. We'll do our best to conceil them from the ogres.'
