Delver Hagorn is located in the Korascian Warrens in the Darkhammer Dwarf encampment east of the Bridge of Doom. Location: 529.24, -2234.56, -29.65
You say, 'Hail, Delver Hagorn' Delver Hagorn says 'You'll need to make yourself useful around here, see, if you expect to use our Delve as a base of operations. We've got a lot of problems and every Dwarf that isn't mining is costing us profit. D'ye want to help with our [support] problems, or is [combat] more your style?' You say, 'Combat' Delver Hagorn says 'My Dwarves are strong and brave, but I pay 'em to mine, not to fight. Right now we're having trouble with the Earth [imps] disruptin' our operation. There's also some difficulties we're having with [mithril] golems around here, as you may have noticed.' You say, 'Imps?' Delver Hagorn says 'Well, I s'pose imp isn't quite the right word for 'em. They're magical, y'see, pure essence of earth wi' form an' will. Evil buggers that laugh as they tear yer limbs off, which 'as been happening far too often f'r my liking. I'd like ye t' return th' [favor].' You say, 'A favor?' Delver Hagorn says 'Simple, really. They won't bother my miners if ye kill 'em, an' there may be value in those stone hearts o' theirs. Bring me back a few an' we'll see.' You have been assigned the task 'A Plague of Mephits'. Delver Hagorn doesn't like losing his miners to Mephit attacks. Go thin their numbers, and find out if their hearts could be of value. Kill 8 Vekerchiki warriors 0/8 (Korascian Warrens) Several Vekerchiki warriors can be found around the edges of the Darkhammer camp. They see invis, summon and single rampage. Loot 2 Stone Mephit Heart 0/2 (Korascian Warrens) Deliver 2 Stone Mephit Heart to Delver Hagorn 0/2 (Korascian Warrens) Delver Hagorn thanks you for your assistance. I had to kill 11 to get two hearts. Kill number 7 and kill number 11 had the heart. All in the Darkhammer area.
Had to kill 10 mephits to get 2 hearts. These mobs are TOUGH. They enrage and rampage a lot. My 35k warrior got close to one-rounded more than once, took 2 healers chaining fast heals at times, plus you have to keep an eye on rampage victims in your group.
Quest gives .60% XP upon completion.
Repeatable, probably every 6 hours.

These are far from common drops. I've killed over 20 of these guys and not gotten a single heart yet. Either I'm getting the worst RNG or they are not common
