This task begins with Severilous in the Field of Scale.

    You say, 'Hail, Severilous'

Severilous says 'What do you want, worthless beast? If you have anything to [offer] us other than the meat on your bones, you'd best tell me about it now.'

    You say, 'Offer?'

Severilous says 'Hah! You would offer your help to us! You should tell that to Trakanon. He has a great sense of humor. He might even laugh once before eating you. Be gone, worthless wretch. Go [kill some] of those fool Iksar if you would be of use to me. Then perhaps I will use your flesh to [feed] my racnar.'

    You say, 'Feed?'

Severilous says 'You are determined at least. Fine, I shall give you a simple task. Succeed and I will not feed you to the racnar.'

Severilous says 'Well, now that you mention is, our army could use a bit more meat. If you won't volunteer your own flesh, then bring me something else.'

You have been assigned the task 'Food Supplies'.

Severilous has asked you to complete a task where he admits 'even if you fail, causes no problem for us.' It seems that the winged beings of the dragon army have no trouble finding the massive amounts of food they need to continue the siege on the Iksar. Those without wings, however, are having trouble finding food. The area near their camp is hunted out, and travelling too far is dangerous. So the great dragon has asked you to do two things. Gather a large volume of food for the army and kill off some Iksar hunters that are making food scarce in the area.

Severilous said he wanted about 100 pounds of flesh. He will only accept them in at least 10 pound increments, what he called a snack. He also said that any extra bits you left would be his to eat.

Kill 6 Sebilisian Hunters 0/6 (Field of Scale)

    They are located around /loc -2566.03, 2124.17, -34.18.

Collect 100 pounds of flesh 0/100 (Field of Scale)

Meat drops from various animals in the zone in the form of carcasses. Chokidai Carcass weighs 8 lbs., Scorpion Carcass weighs 4 lbs., and Snake Carcass weighs 2 lbs.

Speak with Severilous (Field of Scale)

Iksar Right Upper Arm Bones used for Baron Yosig's Skeleton

Looking at the ones I have in character inventory they show 25.0 for the Chokidai carcass currently.

Did this quest today. The task window said 0/4 for the meat. When I turned in 40 pounds, the task updated. It still wanted 6 hunters, though All the way to the south is a sort of pocket with a tent and a wagon. $ Hunters stand there. A Fifth one stands a distance North East from them..

Still see people talking in /ooc about not having the right food to turnin.

Here is a sure fire tip for those who are trying this quest out for the first time.

Go north in FoS to the bank by the water. You either want to be extreme East or West when killing up there to avoid the pathing trackers.

Kill scaled wolf's, snakes, and scorpions and any item they drop that is a no drop, is what you will be turning in for the quest.

Keep in mind, this is not a shared turnin, atleast it was not for me, each person needed their own 100lbs of this stuff.

If you turn in food and run back to hunt, you will get a message that if you are not quick he will eat what you gave him as a snack. Unsure if that means anything or not, but do keep this in mind. You get credit based on every 10lbs you turn in. Which means, if you turn in 12 lbs of meat, you will see a 1/10, so keep giving the food to him until it's 10/10 and you will be done.

Don't stack the food when you turn it in, he will give it back even if it's the right food for the turn in. Nothing new there.

    Hope this helps.

When it says "Kill 6 Sebilisian Hunters" what mobs does this refer to? There are lots of Sebilisians running about, but I haven't seen any hunters yet.

Refers to Seb Hunters specifically. They are located to the south of the dragons in a "pocket" the zone forms. Surrounded by animals of course.

I got 45 chronobines, faction, 1% xp ( at 83 ) and Iksar Right Upper Arm Bones for finishing this task

meat turn in is by weight. need 100 lbs worth, any type of carcass, updates turn in every 10 lbs. If you turn in extra, after a few mins he eats the extra, so best to collect 100lbs wore of carcasses first and turn in all at once

    Chokdai carcass = 7lbs, Scorpian carcass = 4lbs, snake carcass = 2lbs

    I just did 5 turn-ins consisting of:

2x Chokidai carcass (14 lbs total)
1x Scorpion carcass (4 lbs total)
1x Snake carcass (2 lbs total)

This adds up to 20 lbs exactly, and will get you 2 updates. Obviously you might not always have this exact assortment, but I waited until I did rather than risk the chance of losing a bunch of extra poundage by turning in uneven combinations.
    Item info shows weight
    # Nov 01 2008 at 8:55 PM Rating: Decent
No, it's literally by weight listed in the item info for each carcass. Carcasses off scaled wolves ("chokidai carcass", I think) are 7 pounds, off scorpions are 4, and off snakes are 3. It doesn't count until it adds up to 10 pounds total per turnin (you do get a couple minutes to turn in more before he eats the leftovers ,so it doesn't literally have to be an even 10 pounds in the turnin window).
    # Nov 01 2008 at 1:07 PM Rating: Decent
carcasses you need are 7 pounds. Turn in 3 at a time for 2 updates.

No, that's not correct. You need to turn in the carcassses in 10+ pound increments. You will only get a task update when you've turned in 10+ pounds.

As someone posted, you can get two updates by turning in 3 x 7 pound carcasses.
