A Simple Task - Level 50

These "Simple Tasks" are a series of kill tasks that take place in current hotzones (see this wiki article for a list).
This task begins with Franklin Teek (map) in the Plane of Knowledge. He is located east of the entrance to the Guild Lobby. You say, 'Hail, Franklin Teek' Franklin Teek says 'Hello _____! Are you seeking an adventure? If so just tell me if you want to learn about opportunities for [level 20], [level 25], [level 30], [level 35], [level 40], [level 45], [level 50], [level 55], [level 60], [level 65], [level 70], [level 75], [level 80], [level 85] or [level 90]. I also have an [alternate] opportunity for level 90 adventurers.' You say, 'Level 50' Franklin Teek says 'You may wish to investigate (current Level 50 Hotzone). While you are there perhaps you would be willing to perform a [task] for me?' You say, 'What task?' Franklin Teek says 'Take a look at this list and see if there's anything that interests you!' A window pops up with a list of "Simple Tasks" that range from 15 levels below to 10 levels above your character level. You have been assigned the task 'A Simple Task - Level 50' Complete the task that Franklin gave you. You'll be asked to kill five of a certain type of mob in the given hotzone. Kill targets will vary by the day. The zone involved will always be the current hotzone for this level. Kill 5 dars - The Ruins of Sebilis Kill 5 shard spiders or velium broodlings - Velketor's Labyrinth Reward: Flawed Adept's Belt, Cape or Shoulderpads (for casters / priests) Flawed Combatant's Belt, Cloak or Pauldrons (for melees / hybrids) 64 platinum You gain experience! | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||

anyone know what/where the mobs are at to kill for the kill 5 mindspores in corathus creep?

Mindspore Thralls are what you kill for this task :)
I was offered one of the following;
Flawed Adepts/Combatants belt, shoulders or cloak armour pieces.
Nice little item to finish off the quest.

Which versions of Flawed Combatant's Pauldrons, Flawed Combatant's Cloak, Flawed Adept's Belt, Flawed Adept's Shoulderpads, and Flawed Adept's Cape are rewarded?

this has now switch to new hot zone Plane of Innovation
I got the same task but had to kill the Froglok Krups instead
