Weeping Wand

Gardern needs a Silver Wand (from a silvered guard in Cazic), a Bloodback Wand (from giant skeletons in Mount Rathe), some Twice-Woven Silk (from fairies), and a Scepter (of Sorrow) (from the Tomb in Castle Mistmoore). You will need to pick up the Flower (looks like a bag) in the tomb house (the one where you can fall down through two trap holes) in graveyard, then give the flower to the named shadowed man Ssynthi right behind the tomb house and he will then give you a Scepter of Sorrows. Bring them all back and get the weeping wand.
Your faction with Temple of Sol Ro has been adjusted by 10. Your faction with Shadowed Men has been adjusted by -1. Need all dialogues, /loc of quest mobs, missing items if any, any additional missing information. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||

This door never used to be locked. I've killed every mob in mistmoore (including him back when he used to actually pop there :P)...and I've never seen a key. Maybe rouge can crack the door?

The tomb is locked anyone know where to find key or how you get in i need flower pls help!
I need help in finding exactly where the flower is i have been to zone once know where ssynthi is but havent a clue where to look for flower in relation to his location please help!
the building right next to him is where the flower spawns, as a small bag. however, the door is locked. ive only been in there once and ive since forgotten on what toon or how i got in.

Well Since Cazic Thule is a High lvl dungeon now. No possible way to get The silver wand now from there. Anyone have any ideas about where to get it now? I tried killing the lizards outside in the Feerot for 3 hours and Nothing. Any info would help. Thank you

A Silvered Tae Ew Observer now spawns by the pillar on the northern tip of the island surrounding Cazic Thule. Radiant also shares this place.

The sceptre you get from Ssynthi in Mistmoore is called 'a sceptre' or 'sceptre' or something like that. However, Identify reveals it as 'Sceptre of Sorrows' and it does work for the Weeping Wand quest. Now, does anyone have any information on the Wand's supposed Channeling properties?
It lists "scepter" and also "scepter of shadows" as quest items, but only discusses the plain "scepter" from Mistmore! I believe this is the same item is it not? I think it's just a mistake that it appears to be posted as 2 different items under the quest listing. I just got mine. It shows up as "sceptre". I will cast identify on it and see if it ID's as "Sceptre of Shadows". If so, I am going to let the web master know to avoid confusion.
I would like to hear from more people who have this about it's "focus" I'm curious if this is just a myth or not. Somebody posted on the page for the item that said he was casting and hit and a messages said something like "..., but you regain FOCUS and continue casting" But I'm not seeing enough information on this. Can anybody else confirm or debunk this?

*sigh* I notice noone has mentioned the fact that unlike the staff of the wheel, this is a wizard FOCUS ITEM. That extra 50 (or so) mana you get from the SOTW is going to make a really big difference when you're group is swarmed and your gate/evac spell keeps getting interrupted. A focus item, however, that provides a channeling boost, as well as a dodge and AC boost may pull you out.
I've done both quests, and both are great items, but I have been more efficient with the Weeping Wand than the SotW during those really nasty combats where everything goes wrong.

I have also looted a bloodblack wand from a vampire bat in erudes crossing. I had no idea what it was for, so i destroyed it. :( oh well,
Now to finish the staff of wheel quest, +10 int is always better than +3 int. :)

For the xp it gives not a hard quest at all and the wand now procs an effect of strip enchantment so a little bonus for your trouble!
I've had this for a while. Mine doesn't "proc". It had charges. Now it has none, so I use it for the +3 int.

Although the quest might be a bit tedious it *does* have a few things going for it. First, at level 28 I got almost half a bubble of experience just for turning the stuff in.
In addition, it is not hard, even (or especially) on crowded days to get the Scepter of Sorrow and a Silvered Wand (The Brown Temple ain't the most popular spawn on our server but is usually camped).
Finally, with a decent root you can solo the Giant Skels in Rathe at 28 and with a little help (a Paladin working on Ro armor and in need of pixie dust) the Pixies are not hard either.
Maybe not the best quest for a Wizard, but better (imho) than the rating that it has early.

Well, that true that thise quest isnt really hard to do but the reward isnt really good, I used my weeping wand for about 3 hour of playing because i find myself a jeweled skull and if you have money get your self a black tome with silver rune its quite better that thise wand...
