This group task begins with Gurtrude the Spymaster who can be found at the Ak'Anon Strike Force camp near the zone-in of Fortress Mechanotus. It is available after completing "S.H.I.P. #3: Mechalossus"

You say, 'Hail, Gurtrude the Spymaster'

Gurtrude the Spymaster says 'Shhh. . . A good spy knows to keep her voice low and quiet. Now, have you come here to assist me with my [work], or to [try to join] my gaggle of spies?'

You say, 'Work.'

Gurtrude the Spymaster says 'Well, it is my task to lead a fine group of spies. I can't tell you anything about them, but it is our duty to infiltrate the enemy's structures, disrupt their war effort and steal what secrets we can. Now, I readily admit that none of us on this detail were much for spying before the crash, but when it became obvious that we would not win this battle by strength of arms, I convinced many of the crew to work together as spies. They are even now infiltrating Meldrath's infrastructure. Though, we are spread a bit thin, and there is no support from the ground for our efforts. Perhaps you might be willing to do a few simple [tasks] for me?'

You say, 'What tasks?'

Gurtrude the Spymaster says 'Good! Obviously I'm risking the lives of my people by trusting you, but I have no choice. I won't be sending you to speak with our most important spies, however, since I really don't know you very well. Will you be handling this [alone] or with trusted [friends]?'

You say, 'With friends.'

Gurtrude the Spymaster says 'I hope these are good friends, because you'll be asking them to do some dangerous work. Good luck!'

You have been assigned the task 'Tactical Teleportation'.

Tell Gurtrude you are ready to "sneak in" to the workshop 0/1 (Fortress Mechanotus)

Speak with Tinny 0/1 (S.H.I.P. Workshop)

Approximate Location: +400, +400, +230 (same location as Cledmire Drysproket in Mission #2).

You say, 'Hail, Tinny'

Tinny says 'Hello! I'm so glad that you're here to help me! I'll be right behind you! Lead on!'

Lead Tinny to the Tactical Teleportation Lab 0/1 (S.H.I.P. Workshop)

The Tactical Teleportation room is on the same floor you are already on. On the map, it is the northern of the two west calls. +550, +750, +230

Kill Myrmel Gorgoth 0/1 (S.H.I.P. Workshop)

Speak with Gurtrude 0/1 (Fortress Mechanotus)

Attempt 1 (Me tanking):
We beat him down until he powered up, then I hit Weapon Shield - so far his typical hit was 1750, max of 8k. After WS went down he went around smacking me then everyone for 10-12k. Fail.

Attempt 2 (Merc tanking):
We burned throughout. Merc hit 40% at one point, but otherwise had no trouble at all. I saw him hit once for 10k, but all the rest around 2.6k. We had 2 power-up messages.

Verdict:
Simply have everyone concentrate on burning made the second attempt so much easier. In any case I'd recommend ignoring the powerups/teleporting stuff, simply burn the named down as fast as possible. He only has 300k hps, so just burn baby burn!

Zone does respawn

Hailed Tinny and had him follow to hall outside the teleportation room.

Tinny doesn't do anything except follow the person that hails him.

Didn't have to have Tinny go into any teleportation devices.

We cleared teleportation room of all trash except Gorgoth, then pulled Gorgoth out to the hallway. Chanter stun Gorgoth.

We had a DPS class hail Tinny and escorted him to the corridor right before the room with the named scientist gnome inside. We cleared the room of trash, then invised and went through the first teleporter on the right to become huge. We learned that we needed to be invis or SOS, because going through the teleporter drops us right by the scientist and will cause him to aggro. The person who had hailed Tinny went in last to trigger the update.

After we made ourselves large, we pulled the scientist into the corridor and pinned him, then burned him down. From time to time he did a gflux thing as he was being tanked. The enchanter in our group also discovered that the named is chanter stunnable, so she started casting stuns on him.

First time we attempted this mission, named powered up and hit for 18.8k. Second time we tried it with chanter stuns and knowing what to do, he was much more manageable.

Size does matter

First portal on the right when you enter the room makes you huge. Everyone in the group use it before engaging him.

He won't rape you till 3 or 4th power ups.

Mob has power ups. Each time he power ups he makes some comment about using his size to his advantage. By his 3rd powerup he was hitting 4500ac tank with defensive on for 12k+.

Would imagine you can use some of the portal pads to reduce his size and keep his hits more reasonable.

Tinny is on the orange level in the middle in one of those hidden rooms with the doors you have to shrink to get thru.

once again--use your robot illusion clicky from deception and interception.

he will follow you and no mobs will aggro.

go to the northern orange module on the west side.

pull all the adds (except the head scientist) down and kill them

take tinny up and get update

kill head scientiest

head scientist was hitting our tank for 6 to 9K with defensive and hold the line on.

tank was warrior with 30K hps and 4500+ AC. mob took him from full to purple in 2 seconds--luckily heal landed just after
