Raid Expedition: Crystallos, Lair of the Awakened

In order to request or participate in this expedition, you must have completed the Beyond the Barrier task in its entirety.
The expedition is given by Laiyken, in a cave in the valley leading to Crystallos. You say, 'Hail, Laiyken' Laiyken says 'Interesting. It seems as though this is not actually a crystal at all. It is a scale from Kerafyrm. He truly has grown to be very powerful. With this scale I should be able to channel my magic through it to protect you without the need of the previous charm anymore. You will also be able to see the lair of Kerafyrm. If you are [ready] to venture into Kerafrym's Lair, please let me know.' You say, 'We are ready' Laiyken says 'Very well then. Venture into his lair.' Crystallos, Lair of the Awakened is now available to you. The instance is entered from the regular Crystallos zone (a portal next to the dragon statue at the entrance). There are 10 encounters in this expedition (links point to individual event listings): Halls of Fire (involving Chief Researcher Entharr, who makes his presence known as you make your way through the Fire wing) Keepers of Stone (Keeper of the Stones, and numerous elemental and drake minions) Ice Constructs (Icyyr, Gargazyr, and Aar`kol; as well as several Constructs of Zeixshi`Kar) Aerius Windfury (after clearing out all of the dervishes in the Air wing) Tjudawos (in a pit of fire) Kildrukaun (at the end of the earth tunnels, overseeing the Crystallos entrance) Zeixshi`Kar (in a locked area of the ice wing) Vyskudra (making an appearance a few minutes after the death of the golem Hish`Itar the Stormwave) Brood Mother Visziaj (in the basement of Crystallos, accessed by a trap door at the zone-in point) Kerafyrm the Awakened (in a room a little ways down from the Brood Mother) | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||

Could not zone in today with a six man raid. I get the message "The way is blocked to you. Perhaps you would be able to enter if there was a reason to come here."
Laiyken told me Very well enter into his lair. But i guess this doesn't mean what it used to mean.

It was fun. I did the request for the raid (so I wouldn't have to run back) but everything can be brute force through. Would recommend you burn Zeixshi`Kar before the mez/stun/golem/DT kicks in. The rest like BM and Kera was fun but I just burned him down.
Farmed for Form of Rej VI, solo'd by 115 pal, cov raid gear.

You no longer need any pre-req's of any kind to participate in this expedition.(on normal servers at least, progression may still be in tact) Still unknown if needed to request the raid or not. My 115 cleric already had all the pre-req's to request. My entire 9 box crew of 100-110's didn't have any of it and could participate.
Did all 10 events with extreme ease. You can brute force and ignore all mechanics of every event now including Zeixshi`Kar and the DT as long as you are 100+ as it only affects level 99 or less. The adds can pile up on some events when you ignore the mechanics but still a pushover these days. The only event that was even somewhat frustrating was Tjudawos only because of the constant knockback. That was the only event that I had a toon die due to them being knocked back and out of range of heals. All event were basically done with 115 Cleric, 109 Monk, 100 Ranger and 100 Zerker. The rest of my crew was there for buffs and emotional support :P

Solo'd (no bots) all 4 mini fights as well as Tjudawos and Kildrukaun as a 100 Ranger, Max AA (13,300) and full CoTF Tier 1 raid equipment. Mini bosses weren't a challenge, nor was Tjudawos, but Kildrukaun was a great fight! Came right down to the wire.
Zeixshi-Kar was unsoloable simply because the golem illusion/invulnerability spell works past level 99. I brought my alt monk over and dual box'd it instead. I made one attempt at Vyskudra, but that was a waste of time. She summarily destroyed me after I was silenced.

Do these events need to be done one after the next in an unbroken line, or can they be done as singles?
You have to do the first events in each wing to get to the second event. And you need all 8 wing events down before you can do the Brood Mother. To kill Kerafyrm you need all the other 9 events down.
