This task is actually given by Lymrit.

Here are the dialogs:

You say, 'Hail, Lymrit'

Lymrit says 'You there! You won't have knees left if you try anything funny in here! If you're looking to [help] we could use it. If not, move along.'

You say, 'help'

Lymrit says 'As you've likely noticed, we brownies aren't the dominant force here. The gnomes and especially minotaurs enjoy using us to do everything from cleaning up after them to building parts for their clockworks. We're sick of it and have had enough! It's time to [fight back]!'

You say, 'fight back'

Lymrit says 'Yes, but unfortunately we seem to have gotten ahead of ourselves and a group of younger rebels are going out in an hour looking for a fight. If there was only a way to [weaken them] maybe we would not get slaughtered.'

You say, 'weaken them'

Lymrit says 'Ah ha! So you think you are up to the task then? Perfect! Go out and diminish the number of steamsuits as well as the enhanced versions in the surrounding area before the young rebels get in over their heads.'

You have been assigned the task, 'Let My People Go'.

I got the update for returning to him with my results by hailing him right after I got the task. I suspect that is a bug in the task code that will be corrected eventually. :)
