This is the eighth task in a series. It is assigned at the end of the previous task, "Counter-Attack".
You have been assigned the task 'Rally the Town'. Stefani says 'A half-breed found in the Elddar encampment, you say? Well that explains a lot of things. Let's have a chat with Fendel.' Speak with Fendel You say, 'Hail, Fendel' Fendel says 'What!? Are you sure? My dearest Amber had a daughter? I must be completely [honest] with you.' You say, 'Honest?' Fendel says 'Amber and I care for each other deeply, but I haven't seen her in months. It has been impossible to get near her since the fighting between her people and our people began. And that kills me. It's torture to be separated from her for so long. This fighting be damned. All I want is to see my love. And now, you're telling me that she had my child? I must [see her] again. I must go to Amber and my daughter.' You say, 'See her?' Fendel says 'The others might not understand. No doubt they're upset at me for hiding in a bottle these past few months and keeping my romance a secret. I have to [convince] them to help rescue my child.' You say, 'Convince them?' Your task 'Rally the Town' has been updated. Fendel says 'Speak to Jarvis, Captain Jensen, Stefani, and Old Scheffer and persuade them to lead one final foray into the forest with the goal of rescuing my love and child. It won't be easy to garner support, but depending on the person, they can be swayed if you use the right tact. Try mentioning that my child is in DANGER, a father has a RIGHT to see his daughter, LOVE is important, or that this will bring a definitive CONCLUSION to the conflict.' Convince Jarvis Convince Captain Jensen Convince Stefani Convince Old Scheffer You say, 'Hail, Jarvis' Jarvis says 'Yes, what is it now?' You say, 'Love is important' Jarvis appears unconvinced. You say, 'The child is in DANGER' Your task 'Rally the Town' has been updated. Jarvis says 'Aye, she probably is. I can personally vouch for the danger of those savages and I wouldn't be surprised if they'd kill their own kind as brutally as they've come after us. You've convinced me.' You say, 'Hail, Captain Jensen' Captain Jensen says 'More bad news? What else could possibly go wrong?' You say, 'A father has the RIGHT to see his daughter' Your task 'Rally the Town' has been updated. Captain Jensen says 'Yes, I suppose he does. As a father of three little girls myself, I can understand his concern. You have my support.' You say, 'Hail, Old Scheffer' You say, 'LOVE is important' Your task 'Rally the Town' has been updated. Old Scheffer says 'You're speaking the truth there. I can sympathize with Fendel's love for Amber and after hearing him go on and on about her it's clear he cares deeply for the lass.' You say, 'Hail, Stefani' Stefani says 'Fendel put you up to this, did he?' You say, 'CONCLUSION' Your task 'Rally the Town' has been updated. Stefani says 'You think that if Fendel and his love are reunited that this would bring a conclusion to the conflict? I can buy that. It's worth a shot, anyway.' Speak with Fendel You say, 'Hail, Fendel' Your task 'Rally the Town' has been updated. You have let Fendel know that a raid on on the Elddar encampment for the purpose of rescuing his love and child is imminent.
