This task begins with Gurtrude the Spymaster who can be found at the Ak'Anon Strike Force camp near the zone-in of Fortress Mechanotus.

You say, 'Hail, Gurtrude the Spymaster'

Gurtrude the Spymaster says 'Shhh. . . A good spy knows to keep her voice low and quiet. Now, have you come here to assist me with my [work], or to [try to join] my gaggle of spies?'

    You say, 'Work?'

Gurtrude the Spymaster says 'Well, it is my task to lead a fine group of spies. I can't tell you anything about them, but it is our duty to infiltrate the enemy's structures, disrupt their war effort and steal what secrets we can. Now, I readily admit that none of us on this detail were much for spying before the crash, but when it became obvious that we would not win this battle by strength of arms, I convinced many of the crew to work together as spies. They are even now infiltrating Meldrath's infrastructure. Though, we are spread a bit thin, and there is no support from the ground for our efforts. Perhaps you might be willing to do a few simple [tasks] for me?'

You say, 'I'm willing to do some tasks'

Gurtrude the Spymaster says 'Good! Obviously I'm risking the lives of my people by trusting you, but I have no choice. I won't be sending you to speak with our most important spies, however, since I really don't know you very well. Will you be handling this [alone] or with trusted [friends]?'

    You say, 'Alone'

Gurtrude the Spymaster says 'Well, even these tasks are dangerous so be very careful, for our sake as well as yours.'

You are offered four tasks, one of which is 'Disrupt the Workshop'.

You have been assigned the task 'Disrupt the Workshop'.

Gurtrude has asked you to gather reports from her spies in the S.H.I.P. Workshop and report back to her.

Get a disguise from Steamwork Spy MK-I 0/1 (S.H.I.P. Workshop)

    MK-I is at the zone-in.

You say, 'Hail, a steamwork spy mk-I'

    a steamwork spy mk-I says 'Whirr. . . Data analysis complete. Applying disguise. Disguise will fail in 26,000 seconds. . . 25,999. . . 25,998. . .'

Get report from Steamwork Spy MK-II 0/1 (S.H.I.P. Workshop)

Take the elevator up to the first floor of the complex. Go up the ramp to the second floor and, once there, take the ramp (accessed through the central room of the second floor) to the third floor. Once on the third floor, take the north hall to a room. In that room is an elevator to a room right below it. The second spy is in that room (location 900, 600, 325).

You say, 'Hail, a steamwork spy mk-II'

a steamwork spy mk-II appears to be on the verge of breaking down. 'Buzz. . . Crackle. . . Whirr. . .' the spy passes on its report.

Get report from Steamwork Spy MK-III 0/1 (S.H.I.P. Workshop)

Go up one more floor (to the fourth). Once there, go east outside the building. The third spy is in the southern part of that area (location 350, 255, 410).

You say, 'Hail, a steamwork spy mk-III'

a steamwork spy mk-III looks to be in a bit better shape than the last one. 'Error. Error. Cannot give report while threat exists. Power Operations Manager must be elimated. Power Stabilization Notes must be destroyed. Error. Error.'

Find the Power Operations Manager 0/1 (S.H.I.P. Workshop)

Head to the southernmost room on the third floor. You'll find an elevator at location 40, 650, 350. Take the elevator to the room above. The Power Operations Manager spawns near the center of that room (triggered when you move near location 60, 610, 415).

Be sure to only allow one person at a time to run towards the center of the room to spawn him; otherwise you'll get multiple spawns on top of each other.

Kill the Power Operations Manager and take the Power Stabilization Notes 0/1 (S.H.I.P. Workshop)

Power Operations Manager says 'I will make the might of Meldrath clear to all.'

He's Level 84, hits for a max ~2,700 and is stunnable and mezzable.

Power Operations Manager has been slain by _____!
Power Operations Manager's corpse struggles to not die as it falls.

Loot the Power Stabilization Notes from his corpse.

Deliver notes to Steamwork Spy MK-III 0/1 (S.H.I.P. Workshop)

a steamwork spy mk-III says 'The spy immediately incinerates the Power Stabilization Notes, then it passes you its report.'

Report to Gurtrude 0/1 (Fortress Mechanotus)

You say, 'Hail, Gurtrude the Spymaster'

Gurtrude appeared to be pleased with the work you did for her.

Your faction standing with Ak'Anon Strike Force V got better.

Could not find II even with track. I can confirm that hailing III 2x will give you both updates. III is on the FOURTH floor, outside, near the injured spy.

No, you just spawn him. You only lose your disguise if the timer runs out.

If the illusion wears off you can go back to the entrence and get a new one so if you see the timer on your illusion running out run back before it does. There are too many see through invis mobs to avoid them all. The power operations manager despawns after a few minutes so make sure you clear out some of the mobs surrounding its spawn point before spawning him. If he despawns you will need to start the task over again. The mobs will assist when you pull even if your in illusion so having a puller is important. The power operations manager didn't seem much harder then any of the other trash mobs around him.

a steamwork spy mk-II location is +900, +600, +325 - take the small elevator in the northernmost room visible on the map (green level on my map) down into the room right below it. personally i would not call this floor the 2nd floor of the zone - i would call it the 3rd or even 4th floor - from the very bottom-most floor at the zone in where MK-I is at, this is 3 more levels up from him - so 4th floor if you ask me, or 3rd floor if you don't consider the zone in area to be a floor. could only be called 2nd floor if you both don't consider the zone in or the first level above it to be floors. hope this helps some of you find him =)

Supplies for Spies and Disrupt the Workshop are both required to get the Azia Counterclockwise Capping Rotator.

You can do them in either order, but you will not be offered the reward until both are accomplished.

Steamwork Spy MK-III is all the way to the top of the building (dark blue section of the map), come out of the corridor and turn right. He's near the edge of the level.

I never found a steamwork spy mk-II. When I found a steamwork spy mk-III I hailed it twice in a row and it updated steps 2 and 3. Whoops :)

Dunno, but calling this task solo is a bit misleading. The Power Operations Manager is a bit tough to solo. Might wanna add a disclaimer to that affect.

    Objective Instructions
Get a disguise from Steamwork Spy MK-I.
Get report from Steamwork Spy MK-II.
Get report from Steamwork Spy MK-III.
    Find the Power Operations Manager.
Kill the Power Operations Manager and take the Power Stabilization Notes.
Deliver notes to Steamwork Spy MK-III.
    Report to Gertrude.

All steps take place in SHIP, except the final one to hail Gertrude.

MK-I is at the zone in, MK-II is on the second floor in the north room, MK-III is on the third floor right next to the injured spy. Power Operations Manager is on the second floor in the south room, up the elevator. Be sure to only allow 1 person at a time to run towards the center of the room to spawn him otherwise you'll get multiple spawns on top of each other. If your whole group is under the clockwork illusion, and have a decent puller, this task is cake.
