This task begins with Junwin who can be found in the Loping Plains in the Fang Breakers camp near the zone-in from the Steamfont Mountains. It follows his first task, "Fight or Flight".

    You say, 'Hail, Junwin'

Junwin says 'You have been a great aid in our battles, ______. We cannot continue to allow the goblins and the wereorcs to aid each other so I have a [plan] to hopefully solve our issue.'

    You say, 'Plan?'

Junwin says 'We will need you to travel back to the goblins of Drangol and collect their insignias. Once you do this you'll have to travel to the wereorc areas and plant one at each camp. Then the wereorcs will believe that the goblins have started attacking them again. Are you up to the [challenge]? You could always aid our [alliance] again by killing more of those vile goblins as well.'

You say, 'I am up to the challenge.'

You have been assigned the task 'The Enemy, my Enemy, my Friend'.

Junwin says 'We are grateful for you. Please help us defend this area.'

Travel to the Drangol goblin area and collect 3 insignias. Afterwards, plant them on any orcs you find unaware of your presence at Bloodmoon camps to make it seem as though the goblins are attacking the wereorcs.

  • 1. Loot 3 Drangol Insignia from Drangol goblins 0/3 (Loping Plains

    These drop from various goblins.

  • 2. Plant the Insignia at different wereorc locations 0/1 (Loping Plains)

Loc for "a snoring Bloodmoon orc" is 2631, -3133.

  • 3. Plant the Insignia at different wereorc locations 0/1 (Loping Plains)

Loc for "a sleeping Bloodmoon orc" is 1219, -2346.

  • 4. Plant the Insignia at different wereorc locations 0/1 (Loping Plains)

Loc for "a resting Bloodmoon orc" is 2392, -1185.

  • 5. Report back to Junwin with your status 0/1 (Loping Plains)

    You say, 'Hail, Junwin'

Your task 'The Enemy of my Enemy is My Friend' has been updated.

Hopefully the Fangbreaker Camp will not have to worry about the Bloodmoon Orcs and the Drangol Goblins aiding each other anymore.

Your faction standing with Fang Breakers got better.

You have successfully been granted your reward for: The Enemy of my Enemy is My Friend

    Reward:
Experience (approximately 18% of an AA at level 80).
    Faction with Fang Breakers

The item "Handful of Wereorc Fangs" results from a series of tasks (completing this one alone is not enough). You will receive this item only if this is the last of those tasks you complete.

(It is not known for sure which tasks, specifically, reward this item.)

("The Daring Rescue" is one of them.)

The 3 locations of orcs you "plant" the insignias on are located around the stables in the NE part of the zone.

    How do you "plant" this?

I've tried right click, I've tried to "give". I've tried invisible, I've tried not invisible. I've killed the whole camp, another camp I killed no one. I don't get how to "plant" these insignias.

Annnndd never mind - I had pre-looted the insignias and those don't work if they're pre-looted.

Still get the orc part as a reward even though the orc illusion is granted through the achievement. It presumably has no purpose now unless I am missing something.

This is odd...I decided to do this quest for my monk alt while working on the Vrald's Silken Sack quest, and it seems they've changed the name. It's now called:

"The Enemy, my Enemy, my Friend"

Really odd that they would do this, I can supply a screenshot if needed to verify.

Once you finish Fight or Flight, this is what you get when you hail Junwin

    You say, 'Hail, Junwin'

Junwin says 'You have been a great aid in our battles, ____. We cannot continue to allow the goblins and the wereorcs to aid each other so I have a [plan] to hopefully solve our issue.'

    You say, 'plan'

Junwin says 'We will need you to travel back to the goblins of Drangol and collect their insignias. Once you do this you'll have to travel to the wereorc areas and plant one at each camp. Then the wereorcs will believe that the goblins have started attacking them again. Are you up to the [challenge]? You could always aid our [alliance] again by killing more of those vile goblins as well.'

    You say, 'challenge'

You have been assigned the task 'The Enemy of my Enemy is My Friend'.

Junwin says 'We are grateful for you. Please help us defend this area.'

The bottom of the task window says:
Travel to the Drangol goblin area and collect 3 insignias. Afterwards, plant them on any orcs you find unaware of your presence at Bloodmoon camps to make it seem as though the goblins are attacking the wereorcs.

    When you are done:

    You say, 'Hail, Junwin'

Your task 'The Enemy of my Enemy is My Friend' has been updated.

Hopefully the Fangbreaker Camp will not have to worry about the Bloodmoon Orcs and the Drangol Goblins aiding each other anymore.

Your faction standing with Fang Breakers got better.

You have successfully been granted your reward for: The Enemy of my Enemy is My Fri

If you haven't done Fight or Flight yet you can still get The Enemy of my Enemy is My Friend by saying "challenge".

Don't know the starting text as I got this about a week ago and didn't work on it until just now.

Loot 3 Drangol Insignia from Drangol goblins
Plant the Insignia at different wereorc locations
Plant the Insignia at different wereorc locations
Plant the Insignia at different wereorc locations
Report back to Junwin with your status

Loc for "a snoring Bloodmoon orc" is 2631, -3133
Loc for "a resting Bloodmoon orc" is 2392, -1185
Loc for "a sleeping Bloodmoon orc" is 1219, -2346

Note that you CAN drop invis and hand in while you have aggro, then run it off or gate.

Text upon hailing Junwin after planting all 3 insignias (in yellow text) :

"Hopefully the Fangbreaker Camp will not have to worry about the Bloodmoon Orcs and the Drangol Goblins aiding each other anymore."

XP reward at 80 is 18% AA :(

Hailing him again gives this text:

    In blue text:

"Junwin says 'You have been a great aid in our battles, ________. We cannot continue to allow the goblins and the wereorcs to aid each other so I have a [plan] to hopefully solve our issue."

    You say, "What plan?"

    In normal /say text:

"Junwin says, 'We will need you to travel back to the goblins of Drangol and collect their insignias. Once you do this you'll have to travel to the wereorc areas and plant one at each camp. Then the wereorcs will believe the goblins have started attacking them again. Are you up to the [challenge]? You could always aid our [alliance] again by killing more of those vile goblins as well.' "

Saying, "challenge" gives the task: The Enemy of my Enemy is my Friend.

Saying, "alliance" gives the task: Fight or Flight.

So there is no new tasks after this one.

There are three orc camps on the NE side of Loping. One south of horses, one NE of horses, and one between horses and goblins. There is a sleeping (or resting, can't recall) orc in each camp. All but the camp south of horses can be done without agro. Just need to position yourself properly before dropping invis. The camp south of horses requires either an FD puller to get them away, or clearing camp. Haven't tried trade/evac, since the others are way too close. Unless it's a big faction hit, I wouldn't recommend unless you're smashing orcs anyway and already have the drops.

At camp with resting Bloodmoon I got update and aggro. Exodus failed and I died. Oh well, only one more Insignia still to turn in to the sleeping one.
