just like Mining Behemoth event, if you do a hard solid burn right from the start, this is an easy win.
SK tanking Shaman and Cleric on heals + cures ranger + zerker on DPS burn early and burn hard to win!
Steam Factory Event: Spindlecrank

This is an event in the Steam Factory Raid Expedition.
It involves Spindlecrank, who is located in the large open room in the western part of the zone. Charge and aggro him to initiate the event. Spindlecrank hits for a max ~8,500, flurries, AE rampages (for full damage, though averages much lower), and enrages. He does not have a single-target rampage. He uses these spells throughout the encounter: Dust Blast: Single Target, Chromatic (-500) 1: Decrease HP when cast by 3000 2: Blindness(1) Rotor Wash: PB AE 50', Chromatic (-450) (Cast every 45 seconds) 1: Decrease Hitpoints by 5000 2: Feign Death Rotor Wash also has a knockback component. Dust Blast is cast twice shortly after Rotor Wash is cast and causes blindness for around 12 seconds. High above the area where Spindlecrank is, along the catwalks reached by elevator, mobs called "a steamwork grenadier" spawn. These mobs pick random targets and emote the following, coupled with a spell: a steam grenadier throws a steambomb over the edge onto the ground below. Explosive Charge: PB AE 50', Fire (-425) 1: Decrease Hitpoints by 10000 Obviously the more this occurs, the more of a detriment it will be to your raid. The grenadiers have very few hps (a couple thousand) and do not attack back. They are similar to the artificers in the Ashengate Dyn'leth raid. The people who are on the catwalks killing the grenadiers should not get on Spindlecrank's aggro list. If they do... Spindlecrank calls for assistance with the foes attacking him from above! ...and "a hangar attendant" will spawn and add to the raid. Spindlecrank spawns two types of adds, beginning at about 75% (or thereabouts). The first type are called "a steamwork mender" which spawn three at a time. They attempt to heal and power up Spindlecrank. The second type are normal "a steamwork shock_____" trash adds, which also spawn in threes. All adds are mezzable and are on par difficulty-wise with typical trash mobs in Steam Factory. A little bit east of Spindlecrank's spawnpoint are two steamvents. Two people need to take care of these using Sping-Loaded Pneumatic Tethers (sic), which are groundspawns nearby (appearing as small bags on the ground). Sping-Loaded Pneumatic Tether QUEST ITEM Charges: 1 Effect: Spring-Loaded Pneumatic Tether (Any Slot/Can Equip, Casting Time: 1.0) WT: 0.8 Size: SMALL Class: ALL Race: ALL At about 50% or so of Spindlecrank's health, you will see these emotes occasionally: Toxic fumes appear to be leaking from the northern ventilation shaft. Toxic fumes appear to be leaking from the southern ventilation shaft. The corresponding vents must be closed by clicking on their levers. Before doing this, the clickers should target themselves and right-click the "Sping-Loaded Pneumatic Tether" on themselves in order to prevent themselves from being propelled out of the zone. If this is not handled, the vents are capable of AEing people and knocking them out of the zone (the spell "Poison Gas" gets cast which hits people for 7,000; -500 Poison Resist check). Spindlecrank has been slain by _____! Spindlecrank drops a Notebook Page for progression purposes (see The Search for the Ultimate Story for details). You have to target yourself to use the tether device before clicking the crankshaft on ventilation shaft emotes.
Make a group of rangers to deal with the grenadiers up top.
Have 2 or 3 groups to deal with the adds that show up.
Other than that, not that hard, and a fun fight.

I have been parsing mobs lately and just as a heads up. Grenadiers have 3-4k hp approx and do not fight back when you attack them.

No clue who Ooom is, but anyway. Yes, Spindlecrank has AE rampage, it hurts if you get hit (8kish). Didnt notice any flurries, but i wasnt tanking. There are adds to be dealt with, some do unique things (grenadiers throw...grenades!) which must be killed or dealt with or things get interesting. There are some steam vents that can, during the fight, jet you out of the zone, and you land below in dragonscale. This fight has more to it, and is the most difficult in the zone by far ad MB and clank are pretty weak.
