Once you are level 65, you may right-click on a Jewelled Band of the Silverwing or Polished Band of the Silverwing to receive the task.
You have been assigned the task 'Lost Heirlooms (Level 65)'. Speak to Aiden Silverwing about the ring you found. (0/1) - Plane of Knowledge Reward(s): You gain experience!! Aiden Silverwing is located outside the Guild Lobby. You say, 'Hail, Aiden Silverwing' Your task 'Lost Heirlooms (Level 65)' has been updated. You gain experience!! Aiden Silverwing says 'You've found my ring! I looked for weeks for that ring, but gave up hope in ever finding it. In truth, these heirlooms have caused me more trouble than I could have ever imagined, and none will ever bring back my family. I did all the tasks and now that I am level 65 I readied the ring, right clicked on it like a clicky item, and it assisgned me that 65 task. Combined all the silverwing items and now I have the charm.

Ok, at top of quest discription is says "once you are lvl 65 you may right-click on Jeweled band of the silverwing or Polished band of silverwing to receive the task" this is WRONG, those items are the final rewards for the task(lvl 60)... My question is, what is the item you really need to get to click to get the task (lvl 65) ... whatever it is it is a rare drop, have been camping HoH for the last 4 days & spamming for rots and no one has seen it, or admited to see it .... have seen a Glowing ring of the silverwing and it is NOT the item needed for task ... any accurate info would be GREAT ...

okay, it is not very clear here so I will fix that, when you get the reward for combining the lvl 60 item with the glowing shard gotten from hoh you get jeweled band or polished band of the silverwing ... take that band and put it in a top slot and right click it, you will get the lvl 65 task (talk to aiden silverwing) once you talk to him you get exp reward and thats it ... I have yet to figure out how to combine the 9 items in the box to get the final charm reward and he does not tell you, any info on how to get the final charm reward would really kick **** (ie:what all you need to combine in box) ...
-Edit- ok, figured out what the last peice needed was, the Glowing Ring of the Silverwing that drops in HoH (and does NOT trigger a task when looted) is the 10th item needed to put in box for the final combine to get the charm reward : Luminescent Crest of the Silverwing (wis/int caster reward)

If you combine all 9 Silverwing qest reward items plus the Glowing Hoop of the Silverwing (casters) or Gleaming Hoop of the Silverwing (fighters) from Halls of Honor in the Silverwing Lockbox you get:

I did the quest for a caster. I used the Glowing Hoop of the Silverwing as part of the combine. I don't know if the Gleaming Hoop of the Silverwing would have worked instead but I suspect not.

Recipes added. How do you know to do this?
I just tried it on 12/15/2007 and received the same message as above from Aiden Silverwing. I went up to Aiden with the ring in my inventory, right clicked it and got the lvl 65 task, then hailed Aiden and the task poofed. I did get one blue bub of AA xp at level 65 though.
