 This task follows the task "Fun with Explosives".

Commander Gearswitch may be found at 330, 990, northeast of the windmills.

You say, 'Hail, Commander Gearswitch'

Commander Gearswitch says, 'You're back! And with the parts and ammunition no less. This is perfect timing! Once you take those to one of our [engineers] they should have the catapult working again in no time!

You say, 'Engineers?'

Commander Gearswitch says, 'There are several of them nearby. You should be able to find them next to the catapults they are working on. You'll want to gather some friends before delivering those parts though. The steamworks and minotaurs seem to focus their attacks on any of the catapults that are under repair.

You have been assigned the task 'Firing the Catapults!'

Deliver the Catapult Parts to one of the catapult engineers.
Protect the engineer while he repairs the catapult.
Give the engineer the Incendiary Bomb to fire.

Upon turning in the Catapult Parts, waves of steamworks and minotaurs will begin to path toward you, and will kill the engineers if allowed. Kill them, and/or train them to the nearby guards to be killed.

Engineer Pivvenat says, 'That should do it, if you've got some ammunition we can try this thing out!'

Your task 'Firing the Catapults!' has been updated.

Give the Incendiary Bomb to the engineer. Upon turning in the Incendiary Bomb, the ground shakes and the catapult is fired.

Your task 'Firing the Catapults!' has been updated.

You receive the title (suffix) 'the Defender of Ak`anon.

I also did this last night before the patch. Fairly easy, done within an hour. Gotta kill 10 Steamworks (range in level; some red to 66) and 10 Minotaur Soldiers (new mob Injured Minotaur Soldier and Grizzled Minotaur Soldier (blue to 66)). You need to loot a Clockwork insignia from the minotaurs before the Commander will give you the 3rd/4th quests. They send you to Crushbone and Unrest for yard trash mobs. Part 5 fairly simple...just train the waves of steamworks to the guards.

Rumor is this quest was available ONLY until the release of SoF.

I did it last night in a few hours, some of the drops were a pain but got the suffix "the Defender of Ak'Anon"
