This is the fourth task in a series of five. You must have completed all three previous tasks leading up to this one, the previous of which was 'More Supplies for Devan'.
You say, 'testing' Devan says 'Unlike Nicoli and his minohten cretins we are working with those to the north. Nicoli is not being truthful when he says that all those to the north want to do is to enslave you. In truth they have no interest in forcing folks to do as they wish; instead they want to find the best of you and help bring light to all of Norath. And while he says those horrible things about our ally's to the north, he just sneaks in and talks folks in their sleep. He even makes me think he has gotten the [Nymphs] to help him out.' You say, 'nymphs' Devan says 'I am not certain of why, but the nymphs have not been treating us well, they have even killed some of my tuffein brothers, their magic allowing them to see through the ruse. I suspect the Nicoli is clouding their judgment with his rhetoric, but I cannot be sure. Though it pains me, could you [eliminate] some of the nymphs for us?' You say, 'eliminate' Devan says 'I think that if we just kill a few from each clan, it will dissuade them from attacking us. Though it may not make them like us any better, it will at least keep them away until a better solution can be divined.' You have been assigned the task 'Nymphs are a Menace!'. Kill 4 napaea - 0/4 - Goru`kar Mesa Kill 4 potameid - 0/4 - Goru`kar Mesa Kill 4 oread - 0/4 - Goru`kar Mesa Kill any of the various types to get updates, after completing all 3 steps, the final step appears, which is: Speak to Devan - 0/1 - Goru`kar Mesa You say, 'Hail, Devan' Your task 'Nymphs are a Menace!' has been updated. By reducing the numbers of the nymphs in the area you have relieved the pressure on the Tuffein. You gain experience!! Devan says 'While it saddens me at the death of so many Nymphs, it also lifts a burden from my shoulders. Less of my Brothers will be killed by those silly Nymphs. You have been such a great help to us. Would you help us [again]?' Completion of this task leads into the final task in the series, 'Minohten are a Menace!'. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
