This is an event in the Ashengate North raid expedition.

The event begins once someone aggro's any of the event mobs. You must fight off three waves of drakkins and drakes.

All the Wave 1 mobs spawn in the entrance room. Wave 2 mobs spawn in the first section of the hall leading into the north wing. Wave 3 mobs spawn throughout the entire hall and the room to the north.

There is a two minute rest period between waves. If you take too long to kill a wave, the next one may spawn while the previous wave is still active (not confirmed).

Wave 1 consists of 10 mobs not including summoned adds:
2 x a Flame Trader
2 x a Drakkin Trueshot
2 x a Drakkin Mender
4 x a Drakkin Enforcer

Note: Two regular drake "trash" mobs are also in the room. You will have to contend with them at the same time as the wave. They are not actually a part of the event.

Wave 2 consists of 18 mobs, not including summoned adds:
3 x a Flame Trader
3 x a Drakkin Trueshot
4 x a Drakkin Mender
6 x a Drakkin Enforcer
2 x a Drakkin Assassin

Wave 3 consists of 26 mobs, not including summoned adds:
3 x a Flame Trader
1 x a Poison Trader
4 x a Drakkin Trueshot
6 x a Drakkin Mender
8 x a Drakkin Enforcer
4 x a Drakkin Assassin

Traders, Trueshots and Menders are stationary. Enforcers and Assassins are mobile. Flame Traders summon drakes called "an azure firebreather" about 1 every 10 seconds or so. Poison Traders summon drakes called "an ornate emerald defender" about 1 every 10 seconds or so. Drake adds are mezzable.

Drakkin Assassins set AE stun traps and shadowstep around.

Drakkin Enforcers ENRAGE and use shielding.

Drakkin Menders summon and cast the following spells: Chromastrike, Complete Heal, Faith, Judgement, Promised Renewal, Reckoning, Replenishment of the Gate I, and Upheaval.

Drakkin Trueshots summon and cast the following spells: Drakkin Archer Shot, Enveloping Roots, Frozin Wind and Immolate.

Flame Traders summon and cast the following spells: Defouring Darkness, Greater Immobilize, Grip of Mori, Infectious Cloud, Insidious Retrogression, Pyrocruor and Torbas' Venom Blast.

Poison Traders summon and cast.

Certain mobs also have resistable auras. These can be two types of auras: a silence and a 100% slow.

Following successful completion, a chest spawns with loot.

Also add 2 x an ornate emerald defender to Wave 1. They are already spawned when you enter.

There are no dialogues. All the event mobs are listed above. There are 3 waves to clear. Clear all 3 waves and the chest spawns.

All the wave 1 mobs spawn in the main chamber. Wave 2 mobs spawn in the main chamber and the first room of the north wing. Wave 3 mobs spawn in the main chamber and the first 2 rooms of the north wing.

The wave 1 is spawned when you zone into the instance and will agro and start the event when you get close enough. Wave 2 spawns about 8 mins, 30 seconds after the first wave 1 mob is agroed. Wave 3 spawns about 18 mins, 30 seconds after the first wave 1 mob is agroed.

The summoned drake adds are all mezzable. None of the Drakkin are mezzable.

  • drops from all the raid encounter chests in east and north wings of ashengate(Dyn'leth,lethar,lether2.0,ambush,stitch,veldyn's shade events). This should be added to all the chest's loot tables.

    This is one of two backflag items that you can loot to bypass doing the other tasks(you still must get ally faction with both Jenray and Zhubis). The other item that you loot is mark of Vergalid
